    My slides say that A recurssive call should always be on a smaller data structure than the current one There must be a non recurssive option if the data structure is too small You need a wrapper method to make the recurssive method accessible Just reading this from the slides makes no sence, especially seeing as it was a topic from before christmas!   • using generic and for each loop in jsp

    I am developing a web application. I am using Eclipse as IDE. I was using generic and for each loop, both being feature of java 1.5, and it compiled quite fine when used in backend means in simple java classes. But when I'm using these on jsp, jsp is failing to compile with error showing generic and for each as culprit. Can you shed some light on this? Maybe I am at fault with Eclipse settings?

I'm having an issue with Firefox and anchor links from an external page to a tab div on the landing page; while IE render these correctly (I know, that means little), FF and Chrome both send the user to a place somewhat above or below the actual anchor tag. How can this be done in a more efficient manner? I thought about fetching four different sets from the database, meaning 4 different queries, would that be more efficient? I'm thinking it could be done with one loop but but I can't come up with a solution. Any way this could be done with only one loop?

  • Remove Chrome Loading Notification?

    I am working on a project that runs in Chrome in full-screen mode and displays data that can be edited and interacted with. It makes AJAX calls(using jQuery) frequently that cause a loading notification in the lower left-hand corner on the bottom of the screen to pop up. These notifications are distracting when you are viewing the display and I would like to remove/prevent Chrome from displaying these loading notifications at all. Is it possible to prevent these notification by any means, or perhaps even mask the javascript that causes these notifications?
