  Hi, I want to validate an XML file against RELAXNG schema provided. Searching on the net gave me hints to create a Schema instance using SchemaFactory by providing the appropriate Schema Language. So as per my requirement I used: *SchemaFactory.newInstance(XMLConstants.RELAXNG_NS_URI);* But the following exception was thrown at run: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No SchemaFactory that implements the schema language specified by: http://relaxng.org/ns/structure/1.0 could be loaded at javax.xml.validation.SchemaFactory.newInstance(SchemaFactory.java:207) I am using Java6 and observed that only 'W3C_XML_SCHEMA_NS_URI' works. Rest all the schema URIs throws the similar exception. I am fairly new to using the XML validation APIs. Can someone please provide me the appropriate usage in case I am not doing it correctly? • Use ModalPopupExtender without having to set TargetControlID?

  I'd like to use a modalpopupextender in my asp.net page to show a sub form. But it only has to show on specific conditions. Those conditions are determined in a piece of javascript code. So, most importantly, the modal popup doesn't have to show on a button click. However, if I leave the property TargetControlID empty I get the following exception: The TargetControlID of 'ModalPopupExtender1' is not valid. The value cannot be null or empty. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.InvalidOperationException: The TargetControlID of 'ModalPopupExtender1' is not valid. The value cannot be null or empty. Do I just have the TargetControlID to an hidden button or is there aslo a more decent option? Thanks.

  We have set up a BDC Profile Import for Sharepoint 2007 and it works well for 99% of the users. A handful fails with the "Exception occured when calling into BIL connector for import from non master data source" message in the crawl log, though The ULS logs reveal the following information: Exception Profile Import: Exception occured when importing user: '[redacted]\[redacted]'. Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.PropertyInvalidValueException: Invalid Property Value: Could not find SID corresponding to input account name I have confirmed that the user has a sharepoint profile matching the username is a valid domain user exists in AD Can anyone help med troubleshoot this?

• Is url.openStream harmful?

  I was using the java.net.URL.openStream() method to retrieve content from the server. I recently ran into an issue where the HTTP Response code indicated an error, but instead of throwing an exception, the stream still was read anyway. This caused the error to appear much later in the execution and proved to be a red herring. As far as I can see, when you have opened a stream using this method, there is no way to check the HTTP response code. The only way I could find to handle this properly was to use code such as: HttpURLConnection conn=(HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection() if(conn.getResponseCode()!=HttpStatus.SC_OK) //Raise Exception; InputStream in=conn.getInputStream() So do you agree? Is it possible to use openStream safely, or is it a method that should be avoided at all costs. It is worth noting that Sun uses the method in their tutorial code for reading directly from a URL. Then again, the code throws Exception so it isn't exactly a bastion of good coding practices.

  Hi all, I'm currently working on an android app that pulls a list of forums from a JSON feed. I'm trying to parse the feed and immediately upon calling getJSONArray a JSON exception is being thrown with no stack trace. The JSON being returned is stored in an JSONObject jobj with the format as follows: { "Forum": [ {"ForumName":"CEC Employee Communications Forum","ForumId":"105"}, {"ForumName":"CEC External Stakeholder Relations Forum","ForumId":"109"}, {"ForumName":"See All...","ForumId":"0"} ] } However when running the following code, I get an immediate exception without a stack trace: JSONArray jarray = new JSONArray(); jarray = jobj.getJSONArray("Forum"); Running jobj.GetJSONArray("Forum").toString(); returns what looks to be a correct array of the format: [ {"ForumName":"CEC Employee Communications Forum","ForumId":"105"}, {"ForumName":"CEC External Stakeholder Relations Forum","ForumId":"109"}, {"ForumName":"See All...","ForumId":"0"} ] I also tried JSONArray jarray = new JSONArray(jobj.GetJSONArray("Forum").toString()); and had the exception thrown immediately.   I'm making an outbound connection using a DNS name to a server other than the localhost, and I get this exception: System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server --- System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:5555 The text implies that the TARGET machine refused the connection, but the IP address and port are from the localhost, which is kind of confusing. So is that IP address really the outgoing IP and port, even though the exception was caused by the target refusing the connection? Or is the exception from the local firewall blocking the outgoing connection?

So - is there a good reason for code like this that I'm missing, or was this code extract just put together by a shitty developer? I'm hoping there is a good reason, and I'm just blindly missing it. • Matplotlib and WSGI/mod_python not working on Apache.

  Everything works as supposed to on the Django development server. In Apache, the django app also works except when matplotlib is used. Here's the error I get: No module named multiarray.
