  • PHP: Convert <ul> <li> Tree HTML tag to an array

    - by marknt15
    Hi, I'm using jsTree and I need to convert this HTML tag tree code <ul> <li> to a PHP array. The jsTree HTML tag will be passed to PHP to be parsed and store in a structured tree PHP array(see below for the PHP array structure). Additional question: Is my desired PHP array structure good or you can suggest a good structure? I'm open for suggestions. Thanks in advance :) Cheers, Mark jsTree Screenshot: HTML Tree String: <ul class="ltr"> <li id="phtml_1" class=" open"> <a style="" class=" " href="#"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Folder 1</a> <ul> <li class="leaf" id="phtml_2"> <a style="" class=" " href="#"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Child 1.1</a> </li> <li class="open" id="phtml_3"> <a style="" class=" " href="#"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Folder 1.1</a> <ul> <li class="leaf last" rel="default"> <a href="" style="" class=" "><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Child 1.1.1</a> </li> </ul> </li> <li class="last open" rel="default"> <a href="" style="" class=" "><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Folder 1.2</a> <ul> <li class="leaf" rel="default"> <a href="" style="" class=" "><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Child 1.2.1</a> </li> <li class="leaf last" rel="default"> <a href="" style="" class=" "><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Child 1.2.2</a> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> <li id="phtml_5" class="file open"> <a style="" class=" " href="#"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Folder 2</a> <ul> <li class="leaf" rel="default"> <a href="" style="" class=" "><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Child 2.1</a> </li> <li class="leaf last" rel="default"> <a href="" style="" class="clicked"><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Child 2.2</a> </li> </ul> </li> <li class="leaf last" rel="default"> <a href="" style="" class=" "><ins>&nbsp;</ins>Outer Child</a> </li> </ul> PHP Array Structure: <?php $tree_array = array( 'Folder 1' => array( 'Child 1.1', 'Folder 1.1' => array( 'Child 1.1.1' ), 'Folder 1.2' => array( 'Child 1.2.1', 'Child 1.2.2' ), ), 'Folder 2' => array( 'Child 2.1', 'Child 2.2' ), 'Outer Child' ); echo '<pre>',print_r($tree_array),'</pre>'; ?> PHP print_r Output: Array ( [Folder 1] => Array ( [0] => Child 1.1 [Folder 1.1] => Array ( [0] => Child 1.1.1 ) [Folder 1.2] => Array ( [0] => Child 1.2.1 [1] => Child 1.2.2 ) ) [Folder 2] => Array ( [0] => Child 2.1 [1] => Child 2.2 ) [0] => Outer Child )

  • Connecting to a WCF Service in PHP that has a a NetTCP Binding and a BasicHttpBinding

    - by Justin Dearing
    I have a WCF service. It has multiple clients and three endpoints. The endpoint bindings are nettcp, wsHttp and basicHttp. If I attempt to connect to it via php'd builtin SoapClient class like so: $service = new SoapClient ("http://service.companyname.local:6666/Service/?wsdl", array( "location" => "http://service.companyname.local:6666/Service/Basic", "trace" => true, 'soap_version' => SOAP_1_1 ) ); I get the following: PHP Fatal error: SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: PHP-SOAP doesn't support transport 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/soap/tcp' in c:\www\client.php on line 666 Right now my workaround is to save the wsdl manually and remove the nettcp binding. Is there a workaround that will allow me to use the automatically generated wsdl? Can I hide a binding from the wsdl in web.config? Can I generate different wsdls on different bindings. I don't want to deploy two service hosts.

  • Apache/PHP - alias outgoing URL

    - by Dan
    In my PHP code I've got references to a URL on another website. I'm testing my website locally (using XAMPP). Is it possible to get Apache to automatically replace the domain of this other website for localhost? For example my PHP code might be: <?php echo "<a href='http://www.othersite.com'>Click me</a>"; ?> And I'd like for my local Apache to alias this to <?php echo "<a href='http://localhost'>Click me</a>"; ?> Is this possible? Cheers, Dan.

  • accessing $_SESSION when using file_get_contents in PHP

    - by hairdresser-101
    I am basic - intermediate developer using php and am a little stumped as to what I have found. I need some help in understanding how to alleviate this issue: I have a page called send.email.php which sends an email - pretty simple stuff - I pass an order id, it creates job request and sends it out. This works fine when used in the context I developed it (Use javascript to make an AJAX call to the URL and pass the order_id as a query parameter) I am now trying to reuse the exact same page in another application however I am calling it using php file_get_contents($base_url.'admin/send.email.php?order_id='.$order_id). When I call the page this way, the $_SESSION array is empty isempty() = 1. Is this because I am initiating a new session using file_get_contents and the values I stored in the $_SESSION on login are not available to me within there? Any help? Thanks

It makes sense that the new call doesn't have access to the existing session... New problem though: I now get: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! When trying to execute: $opts = array('http' => array('header'=> 'Cookie: ' . $_SERVER['HTTP_COOKIE']."\r\n")); $context = stream_context_create($opts); $contents = file_get_contents($base_url.'admin/send.sms.php?order_id='.order_id, false, $context); YET, the URL works fine if I call it as: (It just doesn't let me access session) $result file_get_contents($base_url.'admin/send.sms.php?order_id='.$order_id);

  • XMLhttpRequest > PHP > XMLhttpRequest

    - by usurper
    Hi guys, I have another question. XMLhttpRequests haunt me. Everything is now in the database but I need this data to update my page on firt page load or reload. The XHR is triggered in JavaScript file which triggers PHP-Script. PHP-Script access MySQL database. But how do I get the fetched records back into my JavaScript for page update. I can not figure it out. First my synchronous XMLhttpRequest: function retrieveRowsDB() { if (window.XMLHttpRequest) {// code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari xmlhttp=new XMLHttpRequest(); } else {// code for IE6, IE5 xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } xmlhttp.open("GET","retrieveRowData.php", false); xmlhttp.send(null); return xmlhttp.responseText; } Then my PHP-Script: <?php $con = mysql_connect("localhost","root","*************"); if (!$con) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); } mysql_select_db("sadb", $con); $data="SELECT * FROM users ORDER BY rowdata ASC"; if (!mysql_query($data,$con)) { die('Error: ' . mysql_error()); } else { $dbrecords = mysql_query($data,$con); } $rowdata = mysql_fetch_array($dbrecords); return $rowdata; mysql_close($con); ?> What am I missing here? Anyone got a clue?

  • PHP Session when using desktop app

    - by Jonathan
    In this question I asked how to POST to a php file form a vb.net app: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2615335/post-to-webpage-in-vb-net-win-forms-desktop-not-asp-net So now I've logged in the user user by posting their username and password to the php file, the php file then does security/checks they exist/etc and if both username and password are correct is stores the user ID in a session variable. Now if the vb.net app tries to download data off a page which needs the user to logged in, it checks this by doing: if (!isset($_SESSION['uid'])) { header("Location: index.php"); } However after having logged correctly in the app the session variable is not set. How does session work with a vb.net app like this? When the user logs in successfully should I download the user id and keep it in the vb.net app and then post it to each page that requires authentication?

  • date_create_from_format equivalent for PHP 5.2 (or lower)

    - by leekelleher
    Hi all, I'm working with PHP 5.3 on my local machine and needed to parse a UK date format (dd/mm/yyyy). I found that strtotime didn't work with that date format, so I used date_create_from_format instead - which works great. Now, my problem is that my staging server is running PHP 5.2, and date_create_from_format doesn't work on that version. (It's a shared server, and wouldn't have a clue how to upgrade it to PHP 5.3) So is there a similar function to date_create_from_format that I can use? Bespoke or PHP native? Many thanks, - Lee

I started to convert some of my old PHP code to python (due to g's appengine etc.), and now I would like to know whether the regex is 100% convertable, by simple copy & paste. regards,

  • PHP Doctrine frustration: loading models doesn't work..?

    - by ropstah
    I'm almost losing it, i really hope someone can help me out! I'm using Doctrine with CodeIgniter. Everything is setup correctly and works until I generate the classes and view the website. Fatal error: Class 'BaseObjecten' not found in /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/application/models/Objecten.php on line 13 I'm using the following bootstrapper (as CodeIgniter plugin): <?php // system/application/plugins/doctrine_pi.php // load Doctrine library require_once BASEPATH . '/plugins/Doctrine/lib/Doctrine.php'; // load database configuration from CodeIgniter require_once APPPATH.'/config/database.php'; // this will allow Doctrine to load Model classes automatically spl_autoload_register(array('Doctrine', 'autoload')); // we load our database connections into Doctrine_Manager // this loop allows us to use multiple connections later on foreach ($db as $connection_name => $db_values) { // first we must convert to dsn format $dsn = $db[$connection_name]['dbdriver'] . '://' . $db[$connection_name]['username'] . ':' . $db[$connection_name]['password']. '@' . $db[$connection_name]['hostname'] . '/' . $db[$connection_name]['database']; Doctrine_Manager::connection($dsn,$connection_name); } // CodeIgniter's Model class needs to be loaded require_once BASEPATH.'/libraries/Model.php'; // telling Doctrine where our models are located Doctrine::loadModels(APPPATH.'/models'); // (OPTIONAL) CONFIGURATION BELOW // this will allow us to use "mutators" Doctrine_Manager::getInstance()->setAttribute( Doctrine::ATTR_AUTO_ACCESSOR_OVERRIDE, true); // this sets all table columns to notnull and unsigned (for ints) by default Doctrine_Manager::getInstance()->setAttribute( Doctrine::ATTR_DEFAULT_COLUMN_OPTIONS, array('notnull' => true, 'unsigned' => true)); // set the default primary key to be named 'id', integer, 4 bytes Doctrine_Manager::getInstance()->setAttribute( Doctrine::ATTR_DEFAULT_IDENTIFIER_OPTIONS, array('name' => 'id', 'type' => 'integer', 'length' => 4)); ?> Anyone? p.s. I also tried adding the following right after // (OPTIONAL CONFIGURATION) Doctrine_Manager::getInstance()->setAttribute(Doctrine::ATTR_MODEL_LOADING, Doctrine::MODEL_LOADING_CONSERVATIVE); spl_autoload_register(array('Doctrine', 'modelsAutoload'));

  • PHP, MySQL, and temporary tables

    - by dave
    Php novice. 1.Is there anything wrong with this PHP & MySQL code? include_once "db_login.php" ; $sql = "DROP TEMPORARY TABLE IF EXISTS temp_sap_id_select" ; mysql_query ( $sql ) or ( "Error " . mysql_error () ) ; $sql = " CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE temp_sap_id_select ( `current_page` INT NOT NULL, `total_pages` INT NOT NULL, `select_date` DATE NOT NULL, `select_schcode` CHAR(6) NOT NULL, `select_user` CHAR(30) NOT NULL, `select_id` CHAR(9) NOT NULL ) " ; mysql_query ( $sql ) or ( "Error " . mysql_error () ) ; 2.Admittedly, I'm a dull boy, but I'll ask anyway: If I'm using a MySQL GUI and have open the target database, will it be aware of the above temporary table created by PHP/MySQL (IF the temporary table is properly created)?

  • Facebook connect JavaScript with PHP

    - by skidding
    I'm using the JavaScript method to sync/login (with the popup) with Facebook Connect on my site, it seems to work. However, after I get logged in, I want to continue in backend, with the PHP library. I see the cookies are set by the JavaScript lib, but I don't know how to use them with the PHP api. I used $fb = new Facebook($api_key, $secret); $uid = $fb->get_loggedin_user(); but not user data is getting passed. How can I get the user data in PHP after I logged in in frontend? As far as I'm concerned, I would have gone PHP all the way, but I didn't manage to make the auth work, meaning that in never redirected me back to my site :). Thanks!
