• Firefox error for signalR, but does not effect anything

• Scriptaculous Slider stops working in iFrame

  Hi there, I am stumped! I have a form for leaving reviews that uses a slider from the Scriptaculous library. The form is retrieved through Ajax once a user clicks on a link to leave a review and all works fine. In order to enable ajax-looking file uploading, I'm using an iFrame to submit the review. My problem occurs when the form is returned due to user input errors. The slider stops working! No Javascript errors. The Control.Slider gets initialized, yet it doesn't work. Any ideas on why this could be happening? Thanks!

I had installed it but when i run the command phpcs /path/to/code/myfile.php in the command line i got the last one hundered line error from 310 to 410 . but if i want to see the starting errors of any line error how can i see that . Mostly errors are 322 | ERROR | Spaces must be used to indent lines; tabs are not allowed 322 | ERROR | Line indented incorrectly; expected at least 8 spaces, found 2 How can i solve these things easily and in future it don't repeat , what it saying that i should not use tab , and use space , by using space it will take time . and how can i start with basic standard ,because don't want to utilise more time in this right now. The parameter -l should check for correct PHP syntax, and throw errors if some problems exist. • manage.py runserver not working

  I am new to django and python in general, so pardon me for any simple mistakes I may be doing. I am trying to setup my first django project on my local windows vista machine. I have created the project successfully with no problems. The issue I am coming across is when my settings.py has values for my database keys, the manage.py runserver command is failing. If I have values in settings before I run the command, as soon as I run it I get errors. If I have already run the command and the server is running, as soon as I edit the settings file with values, the errors show up in my still open command prompt. The inner most exception seems to "Error loading MySQLdb module: No module named MYSQLdb". If I leave the settings.py blank, the command executes with no problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

  I cannot figure out how to get rid of errors that basically should not be halting my compile in VS 2010 and should not be show stoppers, or at least I will fix them later but I don't want the compile to just error and halt on these kinds of problems.   What is the best way to add errors to render if a child resource is really what's having issues and not the parent resource? • Using $.getJSON to perform cross domain request problem.

  I'm using the following code to make cross domain request using $.getJSON, request completed but with errors, I cannot exactly detect what is the thrown error. • Variable might not have been initialized error

  When i try to compile this: public static Rand searchCount (int[] x) { int a ; int b ; ... for (int l= 0; l<x.length; l++) { if (x[l] == 0) a++ ; else if (x[l] == 1) b++ ; } ... } I get these errors: Rand.java:72: variable a might not have been initialized a++ ; ^ Rand.java:74: variable b might not have been initialized b++ ; ^ 2 errors it seems to me that i initialized them at the top of the method. Whats going wrong?

• JQuery delegate what may cause it to not function

  I have a webpage using jquery 1.42 The following 2 segments of code live in my page. $('body').delegate('h2', 'click', function() { $(this).after("<p>delegate paragraph!<\/p>"); }); $('body h2').live('click', function() { $(this).after("<p>live paragraph!<\/p>"); }); The live method always works, yet the delegate doesn't fire at all. If I create a trivial page with simple html <body><h2>blah</h2></body> both approaches work. So I'm assuming there is something else going on in my page. With firebug I am seeing no javascript errors, no html errors. and breakpoints on the delegate method definately do not get hit. What else might be the cause of delegate not triggering?

• Linker Issues with boost::thread under linux using Eclipse and CMake

  I'm in the process of attempting to port some code across from PC to Ubuntu, and am having some issues due to limited experience developing under linux. We use CMake to generate all our build stuff. Under windows I'm making VS2010 projects, and under Linux I'm making Eclipse projects. I've managed to get my OpenCV stuff ported across successfully, but am having major headaches trying to port my threaded boost apps. Just so we're clear, the steps I have followed so-far on a clean Ubuntu 12 installation. (I've done 2 clean re-installs to try and fix potential library cock-ups, now I'm just giving up and asking): Install Eclipse and Eclipse CDT using my package manager Install CMake and CMake Gui using my package manager Install libboost-all-dev using my package manager So-far that's all I've done. I can create the eclipse project using CMake with no errors, so CMake is successfully finding my boost install. When I try and build through eclipse is when I get issues; The app I'm attempting to build uses boost::asio for some UDP I/O and boost::thread to create worker threads for the asio I/O services. I am trying to link statically, but I believe eclipse should be passing the correct arguments to make that happen since my CMakeLists.txt includes SET(Boost_USE_STATIC_LIBS ON) I'm officially out of ideas here, I have tried doing local builds of boost and a bunch of other stuff with no more success. I even re-installed Ubuntu to ensure I haven't completely fracked the libs directories and links with multiple weird versions or anything else. Any help would be muchly appreciated.

I want to store the errors that occur in route.php in cron.log This works wonderfully when I run : php /home/admin/public_html/domain.com/public/cron/route.php &>> /home/admin/public_html/domain.com/log/cron.log through the command line manually. But when crontab runs it no errors gets stored in cron.log the cron.log is owned by admin:admin and the permissions are set to 777 just to be sure. anyone?

  Hi. Using RESTful for all backend persistance and operations. I just pass data from frontend (by frontend I don't mean clientside but the part that is making use of the REST) to rest and data gets back success or no with validation errors if any. Thing is I have stuff that should be validated on frontend too..like csrf tokens, captcha etc. Only reasonable way is I mix validation coming from token/captcha checks and validation errors coming back from REST. Issue with this will be kinda automation as I wouldn't want form field names to map 1:1 with backend field names use by the REST documents. Any pointers ideas are more than welcome.

  We're working with some very large config files which contain lots of Unity and WCF configuration. When we open some of these configs in the SVC config editor or even try to open a web application using these configs, we recieve errors showing any typos or errors. E.g. a WCF binding is invalid or does not exist etc, or a configuration section does not exist, two endding tags, etc. Is there some way to "valid" a config through a unit test? So there's one less thing which could go wrong when the application is moved into a new environment.

  Hi All, I have seen the BusinessCard example provide in Android examples. I am using ContactAccessor abstract class to seperate out the SDK versions. My code is running fine for 2.0 onwards, but when I am trying to build the code in Adnroid 1.6 I am getting the following errors: Build.VERSION_CODES.ECLAIR is not resolved. Getting errors in the whole class in which I have used Contacts APIs from 2.0 (say in class ContactAccessorSdk5.java). How to resolve these issues? I want to run my App on both the versions. • Most efficient way of checking for a return from a function call in Perl

  I want to add the return value from the function call to an array iff something is returned (not by default, i.e. if I have a return statement in the subroutine.) so I'm using unshift @{$errors}, "HashValidator::$vfunction($hashref)"; but this actually adds the string of the function call to the array. I also tried unshift @{$errors}, $temp if defined my $temp = "HashValidator::$vfunction($hashref)"; with the same result. What would a perl one-liner look like that does this efficiently (I know I can do the ugly, multi-line check but I want to learn). Thanks,

Problem: I have some music files on my site (.mp3) and I am using a php file to increment a database to count the number of downloads and to point to the file to download. For some reason this method starts at 350kb/s then slowly drops to 5kb/s which then the file says it will take 11hrs to complete. BUT if I go directly to the .mp3 file my browser brings up a player and then I can right click and "save as" which works fine complete download in 3mins. (Yes both during the same time for those that are thinking it's my connection or ISP and its not my server either.)
