• Reverting back to previous ADT plugin

  Now I was wondering if anyone has been able to accomplish reverting to a previous ADT plugin. The reason for this is because I am using an open source jar and I am getting the following errors on my LogCat such as: unable to resolve virtual method unable to find class referenced in signature unable to resolve new-instance The effect of this causes an error on running my android application on the debugger. I was using android ADT 15 before now I am updated to 17. Please help on finding a solution to resolve the issue. Edit* Forgot to add in The error "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError". In simple terms it can't find classes or methods the attached jar even though it allows it.

• jQuery + Validation plugin: add/remove class to/from element's parent

  Hi guys, I'm working with the jQuery Validation plugin and I wrote the following code which adds a class to the element's parent if not valid (as well as inserting the actual error message at a particular location within the parent): errorPlacement: function(error, element) { element.parent().addClass('error'); error.insertBefore(element.parent().children("br")); } This works, however, if a field's content is corrected and becomes valid, the class obviously doesn't get removed from its parent (actually, neither does the error element, instead it just gets a display: none; CSS property). How can I check if an element becomes valid and remove its parent class if so ? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you !

  I am building a framework that will validate forms both client-side (javascript) and server-side based on a form requirements specification written in json. The purpose is to get rid of logically equivalent code on the server and client to make the code more maintainable, faster to write, and less buggy. I think the Rails validation framework solves the problem on the wrong level because I have found that forms often operate on more than one model.

  This could well be a terribly ignorant question, if so please forgive me: I'm using jquery cycle plugin to create an image rotator of recently posted images. Im using drupal 6.x and created an RSS feed of the recent images using the views module. I have no idea how to connect the two. Any suggestions? I have a feeling an RSS feed might not be the best way to go about this, but it's all I could come up with. Thanks for the help.

• Python - Using "Google AJAX Search" API's Local Search Objects

  Hi! I've just started using Google's search API to find addresses and the distances between those addresses. I used geopy for this, but, I often had the problem of not getting the correct addresses for my queries. I decided to experiment, therefore, with Google's "Local Search" (http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxsearch/local.html). Anyway, I wanted to ask if I could use the "Local Search" objects provided by the API within python. Something tells me that I can't and that I have to use json. Does anyone know if there is a work around? PS: Im trying to make something like this: http://www.google.com/uds/samples/random/lead.html ... except a matrix type deal where the insides will be filled with distances between the addresses.   If two webserver are configured in between a load balancer and weblogic cluster, will the two Apache server maintain session stickiness.?? Say for e.g. the load balancer forwards the first request to the 1st apache and inturn 1st apache forwards to 1st WL managed instance.Even if the second req from the same user is forwarded by the load balancer to the second apache, will the sec apache be able to forward it to the 1st WLManaged instance which served the first request rather than the sec WLManaged instance which is not aware of the session information at all.What should ideally be the behaviour of weblogic apache plugin??.Catch is i dont want ot enable the session replication @ the wl server cluster..Pls help.

  Hello, im using leaveNotice plugin and example from authors page (example number six, the last one) On the site all looks all right in both chrome and ie8. When im implement this in my page, in chrome all still looks ok, but ie as usually messed it up. Background appears under the text and pop up appears under the background. It's propably issue with css, but im not have css skills to fix it up. Plus with same css on example site all looks all right, im a lil bit confuse, help me please.

• Using XTemplate with SimpleStore in Ext

  I am currently adding some functionality to some old code. There used to be a template which took a flat array of items and spat out some HTML, now the data is coming from a simple store which reads some JSON.. var allwords = [ ['abacteriano', 'abacteriano'], ['abacterial', 'abacteriano'], ['abciximab', 'abciximab'], etc.. So my simplestore goes like this: termStore = new Ext.data.SimpleStore({ fields: ['term', 'lookup'], data: allwords }); This definitly works fine as I use the termStore in a combobox. However I am having difficulty getting it to play with an XTemplate. It seems the syntax in extjs doesn't play well with SO, so this bit wont be in a code block... So I guess I'll describe it :p Essentially its a simple template which tries to get values out of the passed collection by doing {term} I then try and apply it by doing: tpl.overwrite(Ext.get("contentbox"), termStore); This gives me a JS error of "invalid object initializer"

  Hi, I have a python app engine code (matured backend) - and we are now planning to have a front end for that code. I was wondering whether it is possible to implement GWT as the front end. Even though Alex Martelli in this post [1] mentions it is not possible, a comment to that post suggests that it is indeed possible using rpc over json for GWT. I was unable to understand how this is possible. In app.yaml file, we have to specify the language to be python, right? In that case, how can it compile GWT based on JAVA? Are there any examples on anyone doing that? Can someone help me out? It would be extremely helpful.   Hi, i googled for an hour now but maybe my Google-Fu is just too weak, i couldn't find a solution. I want to create an application that queries a service via JSON requests (all data and backend/business logic is stored in the service). With plain PHP it's simple enough since i just make a curl request, json_decode the result and get what i need. This already works quite well. A request might look like this: Call http://service-host/userlist with body: {"logintoken": "123456-1234-5678-901234"} Get Result: { "status": "Ok", "userlist":[ {"name": "foo", "id": 1}, {"name": "bar", "id": 2} ] } Now we want to get that into the Zend Framework since it's a hobby project and we want to learn about Zend. The problem is that all information i could find use a Database. Is there even a way to create a Zend Project that does not use a Database? And how can i write a model that represents the actions instead of objects and object-relations?

I wanted both branch2 and branch3 to alert 123 so I have something to start with. But currently this alerts branch2 and branch3 instead of 123. I have little experience with creating dynamic variables/objects can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or maybe another approach towards solving this?

How can I do it? I know I can assign another servlet to this URL, but this approach does not seem to scale well. One could use a more scalable approach with a front end controller (e.g. Spring Web MVC), but I really wanted to write this in Java Enterprise stack. What other options are there?

  Hi, I'm building a Wordpress plugin and I added a menu page which serves for management of "Vendor" entities that are kinda similar to the existing User entities. I have a list page similar to Users List, with Edit button for every record and when I click on the "Edit" button I should be taken to the "Edit Vendor" (which does not have its submenu item in the admin menu) page for that vendor. Everything is stored in the "plugins/wp_vendors" folder. Question: What URL should I use for opening that Edit page? How should a slug be registered for the Edit Vendor page? PS. Vendor List is added to the admin menu with add_menu_page('Vendors', 'Vendors', 8, 'C:\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\wp-vendors\vendors-list.php'); And I can open the List page with http://localhost/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-vendors/vendors-list.php Can anyone help me on this?

  I'm using the totemticker jQuery plugin, but need to be able to stop it programatically. It doesn't seem to provide this feature, so I had a look at the source code to see if I could add it myself. It seems that all I need to do is figure out how to call base.stop_interval() However, I can't seem to make the object that is stored in base accessible to callers. I've made a couple of unsuccesful atttempts, but hopefully someone who knows a bit more about how jQuery plugins work can point me in the right direction.

• Convert PHP date into javascript date format

  I have a PHP script that outputs an array of data. This is then transformed into JSON using the json_encode() function. My issue is I have a date within my array and its is not in the correct javascript format. How can I convert this within PHP so it is? $newticket['ThreadID'] = $addticket; $newticket['Subject'] = $subject; //$newticket['DateCreated'] = date('d-m-Y G:H'); Instead of the above fo rthe date I need the equivilant of the javascript function new Date() When I output the above I get the following "Fri Jun 01 2012 11:08:48 GMT+0100 (GMT Daylight Time)" However, If I format my PHP date to be the same, javascript rejects it. Confused... Can anyone help?

  From my understanding JSONP can only be achieved using the GET verb. Assuming this is true which I think it is, then this rules out core compliance with true REST in which you should make use of different verbs i.e. GET,PUT,POST,DELETE etc... for different and specific purposes. My question is what type of barriers am I likely to come up against if I where to say allow updating and deleting of resources using a JSONP service using a get request. Is it better practice to offer a JSON service and state that the user will need a server side proxy to consume using JavaScript XDomain? Cheers , Andrew
