The Log for the "storedLocation" in the "viewDidLoad"-section is 0 while the Log of the "storedLocation" in the "-(IBAction)" when the map is visible contains the right values. How can I manage it to have my coordinates before the view load? I need them to center the view concerning the own position and the position given by me.   • custom cells uitableview - cannot display all the rows

    Hi guys, I'm creating a uitableview with custom cells which I created in Interface Builder. There are currently three cells (UITableViewCell). I have a UITableView which is on the view. The code I have is fairly standard, but I cannot work out how to actually SHOW the three custom cells. I am using the cellForRowAtIndexPath method. My aim is to get a grouped uitableview which shows like the following Item - Name Settings - alert - time So the above indented view should be my grouped uitableview. The problem is, I cannot get it to show using code. The uitableview will ALWAYS be this. I am trying to replicate the settings style screen... so I do not have any arrays to display the uitableview cells. How do I actually display my three cells? I have the following code - (NSInteger)numberOfSectionsInTableView:(UITableView *)tableView { return 2; } - (NSInteger)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView numberOfRowsInSection:(NSInteger)section { if (section == 0) return 1; else return 2; } - (NSString *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView titleForHeaderInSection:(NSInteger)section { if(section == 0) return @"Item"; else return @"Settings"; } So all I need to know is how to actually display my custom cells inside the tableview!   • Why would JmDNS service discovery work on a Motorola Droid running Android 2.1-update1 and not on an

    I have successfully gotten JmDNS working on Android 2.1 testing on a Motorola Droid by using MulticastLock, but recently got an HTC Incredible as second test device, and JmDNS discovery doesn't work at all. I should mention that broadcasting a service still works and everything appears to run normally, but serviceAdded() never gets called. Does anyone have thoughts on why this might be? I was thinking it might be a permission issue, but I don't get any exceptions...

  • Core data, sorting one-to-many child objects

    So if I have a store of parents children and the parent has a one to many relationship to children (parent.children) and they all have first names. Now, on the initial fetch for parents I can specify a sort descriptor to get them back in order of first name but how can I request the children in order? If I do a [parent.children allObjects] it just gives them back in a jumble and I'd have to sort after the fact, every time. Thanks, Sam

    hi all, i've a little problem, i've add a default.png in my app and it work. I've modify my file, delete file and reference and upload my new file. On my iphone the image does not appear, only some second of blackscreen and after my app start. In the simulator the splashscreen appear. I've try to delete my app on iphone, make a clean all and rebuild & install but nothing... I've try to make clean all, close xcode, delete default.png to my project directory (sometimes exist, sometimes no), open xcode, add my file and build & install on my iphone but nothing... Any ideas?

    I tried to search an answer for this but couldn't find one. My iPhone application needs to access the Photo associated with the contact in the phonebook. However, it also needs to make sure that every time application is launched, it verifies that the photo is the same. So, in essence, I am trying to access the photo used by contacts database for a person's phone number or email address. - Is there a way for me to do this? Any help is appreciated.

    Hello all, First, let me state what brought this question about: I saw the green checkmark icon in this post and I would like to use it in my own application. However, since it looks so much like the UITableViewCellAccessoryDetailDisclosureButton my assumption is that this green checkmark icon is provided by the iPhone OS in some form or fashion. So, my question is: how can I use the green checkmark icon and/or other OS-provided images in my own applications?     Hi there, We have developed an application for a company who want to release it under their own account. It has been developed on our account and has had provisioning profiles attached to it from our own account. What is the best way to do this? Do I have to send them the xCode project and talk them through how to attack a provisioning profile to the project? Or can I just get their login details and create a provisioning profile from the Mac in the office and do it for them? Or is there a "transfer to different account" option? Many thanks!

  • Embedding Youtube Videos on user's wall with the Javascript API

    I'm attempting to embed a Youtube video on a user's wall using the Javascript API. I've poured over a bunch of different tutorials and came up with this: var data = { method: 'feed', link: current_video_url, // Link to the vide on our site source: current_video_src, // Link to the Youtube video, http://youtube.com/v/[hash] picture: current_picture_url, // Thumbnail from youtube title: current_video_title, // Title from our page caption: current_video_description // Text from our page } FB.ui(data); Running the Facebook Debugger shows that the current_video_url link is being properly parsed for OG tags and is available as an embedded video. I ran a debugger and all the variables are being properly set in the data variable. This worked fine for about 2 days, and then we pushed the site live. We set up a new AppID in Facebook but now all the videos are just thumbnails instead of being embedded in the user's wall. I thought maybe this is a problem with the live site but now the dev site is broken too. What's the best way to get this to work consistently?
