  • Django template not loading javascript and css properly due to urlpatterns

    Hey, When this one runs everything goes fine: (r"^newobject$", "views.myobjects.newobject"), All the CSS + JS files are properly fetched from: static/css/... static/js/... When this one runs: (r"^mybjects/(([a-z]|[A-Z]|[0-9])+)$","views.myobjects.loadobject"), All the css and JS files that are being fetched, are run trough the urlpatterns and are returning my defailt page: (r"", 'views.main.index'), This makes all my CSS and JS code to actualy be HTML. My guess is that i'm giving some noob mistake. Is there any common reason why this should happen? And how to fix it?

  • Trouble with loading jquery onload.

    Hi guys, I'm trying to build some jquery tabs based on the request (which is stored in a table). I have two pages sharing one .js file. One page is for the user to create the request, and the other is for the administrator to approve/deny the request. On the admin page, here is my javascript code: $(function() { GetRequest(); }); Which is just calling a function I have inside my .js file. All the code in the .js file is also wrapped in a '$(function(){ //...code here })'. The problem is the function isn't built yet when calling it from the page. Is there a way I can tell the page to wait until the script is complete?

    I'm trying to compile a Python extension (written in C) on a PPC mac (running OS X 10.4, XCode 2.5), to run under Ren'Py on both PPC and i386 MacOS. The PPC version works; the i386 version fails to load with ImportError: dlopen(./fasttint_macos_i386.dylib, 2): Symbol not found: _PyType_GenericNew Referenced from: /Applications/Games/Demos/CuteKnightKingdom-demo-0.9.25.1-mac/CuteKnightKingdom-demo.app/Contents/Resources/autorun/game/fasttint_macos_i386.dylib Expected in: /Applications/Games/Demos/CuteKnightKingdom-demo-0.9.25.1-mac/CuteKnightKingdomdemo.app/Contents/Resources/autorun/game/fasttint_macos_i386.dylib As best I can tell, _PyType_GenericNew should be defined by Ren'Py's python - why is it trying to find an internal declaration for the symbol instead of the external one?

Is this the "correct" way of doing things or should we be instanciating the utility class as and when we need it?     Hello all, I'm trying to load an aspx page using Iframe in VB.net. I'm trying to set the source of Iframe with the help of Ext (JavaScript). My aspx code: <div id="container"> < iframe id="pane" name="pane" src="Empty.aspx" frameborder="0" > </iframe> </div> My Javascript code: Pane = function() { var pane; return { init: function() { if (!document.body) { return; } pane = Ext.get('pane'); if ( something ) { this.load(); } else { this.navigateTo('Page.aspx?id=' + a.ID); } }, load: function() { pane.dom.src = 'HTTPURL'; }, navigateTo: function(url) { var agt = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase(); if (agt.indexOf("firefox") != -1) { document.getElementById('pane').src = url; } else { pane.dom.src = url; } } }; } (); This works fine with IE and Iframe gets loaded with page.aspx every time the parent page is requested. But with FireFox it doesn't. With FireFox the src attribute remains "Empty.aspx" when the page is loaded but when I refresh the page i.e. in post back event the src attribute changes to "page.aspx?id=a.id" and iframe gets loaded properly.     this one in my routes works perfectly: map.connect ':permalink', :controller = 'pages', :action = 'show' for this class: class PagesController < BackendController and on /xxx/pages it is shown like this: <%= link_to "#{item.link_name}", {:controller = :pages, :action = :show, :permalink = item.permalink} % which will generate a link like "how-to-create-permalinks". but i decided to move the PagesController into a subdirectory so the class is now written like so: class Backend::PagesController < BackendController But how does the route look like now? And how do i display it on the template so it links using the permalink? Thanks!

    This question expands upon the one at abstract-class-numberformat-very-confused-about-getinstance. I feel that this question is different enough to merit being asked on its own. In the answers to that question, it was stated that a code statement such as NumberFormat en = NumberFormat.getInstance(Locale.US); returns an object that is a subclass of the java.text.NumberFormat class. It makes sense to me why the return type can't be just an instance of NumberFormat since that is an abstract class. Rather, it was stated that the returned object is at least an instance of NumberFormat, but actually something else. My question is this: what specifically is the class of the object that is returned? In the Sun documentation the only subclasses I see are ChoicesFormat and DecimalFormat. Is there some sort of behind the scenes compiler voodoo going on here? Thanks in advance!

So I'm currently working on an ePub reader application, and I've been reading through a bunch of regular XML files just fine with System.Xml and XmlDocument: XmlDocument xmldoc = new XmlDocument(); xmldoc.Load(Path.Combine(Directory.GetCurrentDirectory(), "META-INF/container.xml")); XmlNodeList xnl = xmldoc.GetElementsByTagName("rootfile"); However, now I'm trying to open the XHTML files that contain the actual book text, and they're XHTML files. Now I don't really know the difference between the two, but I'm getting the following error with this code (in the same document, using the same XmlDocument and XmlNodeList variable) xmldoc.Load(Path.Combine(Directory.GetCurrentDirectory(), "OEBPS/part1.xhtml")); "WebException was unhandled: The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable" It's a local document, so I'm not understanding why it's giving this error?     Hey, I've got a UIViewController and an own class, a subclass of UIView. In my ViewController I make a instance of the uiview. If I tap the uiview a function gets called within it and an overlay appears. TO get rid of that overlay later the user has to tap somewhere on the screen(besides the instance of my class) How do I tell my class to dismiss the overlay? I already thought of delegate. So my thoughts were to make a MyUIViewControllerdelegate. If my viewcontroller receives a tap the delegate should be called. THe only problem is how do I tell my subclass that it should receive that delegate? I Have no instance of my viewcontroller in my subclass so I can not set the delegate. Any Ideas?   • Adobe Flex, loading a remote swf

    I have a flex app running on my server. I have had a request from some clients to have the swf loaded on their server, so that their customers dont have to be transferred to my server to login; i.e. from the user's point of view it looks like they are logging in from theirsite.com instead of mysite.com I tried something really simple, and that was to give them a html wrapper to host on their site. The only modification that I made was to change the "src" var to: "src", "https://www.mysite.com/app/myapp.swf" and embed src="https://www.mysite.com/app/myapp.swf" To my surprise, this worked perfectly. And best of all, the service calls still seem to come from mysite.com, so I dont have to bother with modifying the crossdomain.xml file. All good it seems. Are there any issues or downsides to the above that I should be aware of?

You touch on a thumbnail and ... 2. a modal view displays a large detail version of the image 3. You have the ability to scroll horizontally through all the images in the gallery while in this modal view I'm stuck on step 3. How do I dynamically load hi res images into a scroll view? I understand I need to set the contentSize for the the scrollView but how do I do that when I've only selected and loaded one image?   • Android Class which extends Dialog, how to clear TextViews before it is displayed

    I have a class that extends android.app.Dialog, the layout is done in an xml file, and the setup (button listeners, etc) is done on the onCreate method. My problem is that whenever the dialog is displayed, then dismissed, and displayed again, the Editable TextViews are still populated with the information that was displayed previously. What is the common way to clear these text fields? Remember - this is a separate class that extends Dialog - so there is no 'onDialogCreate' like Activity has. Or, perhaps I am extending the wrong class? There is just a lot of processing being done, and do not want to have all the code in the main Activity. I would like it to be in a separate Class. I tried to extend AlertDialog, but it does not create the border like Dialog does. Any help would be great.   • Dynamically loading CSS and JavaScript using Prototype

    I have a classic ASP application that I've been constantly trying to modularize. Currently, almost all pages are divided in to two pages: an outer page that contains the layout, header, sidebar, footer an inner page that contains ASP code The outer pages use dreamweaver templates so updating layout and replicating changes is easy. The inner pages are managed by me. Now here is the problem: I had to add a lightbox to one page, I chose Lightbox 2 which requires Prototype. I ended up adding Prototype on every page, assuming that sooner or later I'll upgrade all pages, forms, ajax requests and other javascript to use Prototype. I've now added two other plugins -- Modalbox and Protofade; each with a pair of .JS and .CSS files. Since I'll be using these three plugins on specific set of pages I am wondering if I can load the required CSS and JS files dynamically. I do not want to access the document head and add include files there, I'll have to do this from inside a DIV where all ASP code is supposed to go.
