  • Binding the textDidChange event on a NSTextField to a MacRuby delegate

    I have a NSTextField within a Window and I created a very simple MacRuby delegate: class ServerInputDelegate attr_accessor :parent def textDidChange(notification) NSLog notification.inspect parent.filter end end And I have tried setting the control's delegate: I have tried setting the Window and every other object I could think of to this delegate. I have also tried setting it to other delegates (application for instance) and events like applicationDidFinishLaunching are being properly triggered. Is there any trick I am missing in order for this event to be triggered every time the contents of this NSTextField changes?

  • Orientation change event in Browser on Palm webOS

    I'm working on a web application where I'm trying to capture when the user rotates the screen. Fundamentally, I want to know if the user is browsing in portrait mode or landscape mode. The iPhone/iPad and Android browsers send a resize event when the screen orientation changes. Unfortunately, the browser in webOS doesn't seem to send that notification. Any advice on how to detect in the browser any changes in orientation on Palm webOS? Thanks.

    Hi all, I have been working around in UIImagePickerController and am struck with a problem where I need to get the precise moment when the camera shutter opens in UIImagePickerController when the source type is set to camera (UIImagePickerControllerSourceTypeCamera). I have done some googling around and have realized that no one had such strange requirement! I looked around the docs of UIImagePickerController and UIImagePickerControllerDelegate hoping to get some delegate method / callback indicating the camera shutter open event, but did not find any.     Does anyone have a sample post build event for Babel Obfuscator I can just copy and paste into my .net assembly release build configuration? The documentation for Babel is 54 pages long, and unfortunately doesn't come with any real world samples on how to use it with Visual Studio integration. Failing that , is there a free obfuscator out there that integrates well with VS 2008 post build, so that it will obfuscate the release DLL during each new build. I was using Eazfuscator which broke since they released version 2.8. Thank you

    The UISearchDisplayController is very handy and implementing search is pretty straightforward. However, I bump into problem when, in my app, I want to display search result with empty search string but selected scope button. It seems like it's a must to enter some search string in order to get the search result table being initialized and displayed. Is there any ways to display search result immediately after user has picked a scope but not entered search word yet? Thanks Bill

I noticed if I refresh the page, the cookies with these keys added to the browser. but why they can't be added after I logged in facebook at once? I need these keys to create facebook_session. did I forgot something excepted these code I pasted? anybody help? thank you very much!
