  • Creating new context in JSF

    HI, We are navigating to for example page A to C. When we are in page C, user clicks the back button of the browser and goes back to the previous application which is used for invoking the page A. Again, when user trying to invoke the page A, he directly navigating to the page C, not page A. Here what I felt the problem was, may the JSF context is taking to the current page. How we can solve this problem. When every user clicks to enter page A, he should be able to see the page A. Anyone has the solution for my problem.

    I have the following content types: Camp - the top level type Registration Information - contains node reference to Camp called Camp Medical Release Form - contains node reference to registration information called Camper I would like to create a View that takes the nid for the Camp, and pulls out all the fields for the Registration Info and Medical Release Form. I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up the various arguments/relationships. I haven't done something that's referenced more than two types. I know it would be smart/best to just combine the Registration Info and Medical Release Form, since it's a 1:1 mapping, but we can't. So... any help would be appreciated!

Lua interpreater accepts file with lua-scripts, so I have prepared it and want to do: lua52 C:\1.lua for example... I have the path of some lua-script and want the interpreater of Lua to interpreate it and than get the result of program on Lua from Created process. I have tried in some ways to do it, but no success. Please, help! Thank you!

    I'm trying to translate a sql query into LINQ to SQL. I keep getting an error "sequence operators not supported for type 'system.string'" If I take out the distinct count part, it works. Is it not because I'm using the GROUP BY?     I'm having trouble with the array or object that should be passed based on the response from __gettypes.   • How do I map repeating columns in NHibernate without creating duplicate properties

    Given a database that has numerous repeating columns used for auditing and versioning, what is the best way to model it using NHibernate, without having to repeat each of the columns in each of the classes in the domain model? Every table in the database repeats these same nine columns, the names and types are identical and I don't want to replicate it in the domain model. I have read the docs and I saw the section on inheritance mapping but I couldn't see how to make it work in this scenario. This seems like a common scenario because nearly every database I've work on has had the four common audit columns (CreatedBy, CreateDate, UpdatedBy, UpdateDate) in nearly every table. This database is no different except that it introduces another five columns which are common to every table.

    Hi all. I have a contact manager program that I'd like to design for multiple network marketing companies. My desired structure would include a core program which covers basic contact management functions. After that one could purchase a module for their specific network marketing company. This module would contain a variety of controls that the original program would need to be able to manipulate. Here is an example of what it would have to have: A group box containing buttons that link to a genealogy view, and the option to import one's donwnline from the back office provided by a company. A panel which is displayed on the contact page allowing the user to input business information or which will be filled by importing a downline from the back office: ie business ID, qualification level, sponsor information etc. a panel displayed when one searches for contacts on the contact list page which allows the user to sort based on information such as when they joined, what their business id is and so forth. a panel which is displayed in a personal business overview page which presents to an individual how many people in their downline are at each qualification level and develop a mailing list for individuals of a certain qualification level. I have the code developed to perform all these functions, I just wanted to give you an example of what needed to be done. I'm thinking that what I'm trying to create is a library that one can download and the program will recognize, but I'm not really sure where to go. What I'm really trying to do is figure out what kind of file I can make that will contain all this code and the GUI information that the program will recognize. Any ideas? With thanks, John

    I am trying to make an effect on a button that when I mouse over it, it keeps jumping up and down smoothly and when mouse out it stops.   • Cocoa touch - creating view template for iPad

    Hi, This is kinda a hard question to describe. I'm just starting to make an iPad app. Now with the amount of real estate I have, I'm planning to have different but similar "views" to populate the space. (might be easier to think a newspaper site, where many of the columns are similar) I would like to create a "view template" so I can reuse the view in the different spots. Is it possible to design the view template in Interface Builder? (meaning I design the UIView in Interface Builder and then somehow I can just do [window addSubview:viewController.viewTemplate1]; multiple times? If so how would I load that view template in the different places? If you know of an example code / tutorial that does something similar, that would work too. Thanks, Tee

  • Creating a pie chart for an app

    I'm developing an app which requires a pie chart to display a set number of modules. The modules need to be clickable, sending a value to the database for how many times the module has been clicked. The slices will change color etc depending on this database value. The slices will always be equal in size. All simple stuff. My question is what charting system would you use. I've been looking at google charts but I have no way of registering a value in a slice without changing its 'weight' in the chart. So ideally I would like to add data-stage="2" to each slice that I can access with a custom method. Also google charts seems quite heavy for what I need? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Joe

Although, the professor is ok with that, I do want to get it working faster and to avoid unnecessary compiling. Here's what I have. Friend of Node. SetIter.cpp - gets a set and uses a pointer to iterator through I'm confused with some of the depencies arising from the friends thing and the point of lib.o being included in the Makefile as some sites have.     I would like to work with DbContext instead of ObjectContext. I updated EF so now I have the DbContext, but I want to generate my strongly-typed context based on the DbContext and not the ObjectContext. When I add new ADO.NET Entity Data Model, it is still based on the ObjectContext. Is it not possible to have it base off of DbContext in Visual Studio 2010 with EF 4.1? UPDATE: Okay, I followed the directions in this link and was able to generate the DbContext template objects. However, now it is saying there is ambiguity between the template entities and the entities in my .edmx file. How do I resovle this? Do I blow away the ones in the .edmx file?

  • Why is CoRegisterClassObject creating two extra threads?

    I'm trying to fix a problem that only recently happens on a number of machine's on a VPN. They each run a client application I wrote that exposes a COM automation object. For some strange reason I haven't been able to discover yet, one thread in the application takes up all of the available CPU time, slowing other operation on the machine. In observing the application's strange behaviour, I've noticed it's the third thread started, and if I debug on my machine I notice the first call to CoRegisterClassObject created two extra threads. If the second of these two threads is the one that gets into an infinite loop, I'm not at all shure how to fix this. Where could I check next about what's wrong? Could it have started by one of the recent patches rolled out by Microsoft this last 'patch tuesday'?   • Creating Synch Point In TFS Source Tree Development Cycle

    Our development cycle rarely requires a branch so we have what tfs appears to consider a single, never-ending development cycle. Our problem is that each build includes an ever increasing long "Generating list of changesets and updating work items" step that includes all changesets/work items back to day 1. What is the proper step that we need to perform to formally lock and label (wrong terms I'm sure) the source tree so that a new cycle of changesets and work items can begin. Thanks!
