• Need to add totals of select list, and subtract if taken away

  This is the code I am using to calculate the sum of two values (example below) http://www.healthybrighton.co.uk/wse/node/1841 This works to a degree. It will add the two together but only if #edit-submitted-test is selected first, and even then it will show NaN until I select #edit-submitted-test-1. I want it to calculate the sum of the fields and show the amount live, i.e. the value of edit-submitted-test-1 will show 500, then if i select another field it will update to 1000. If i take one selection away it will then subtract it and will be back to 500. Any ideas would be helpful thanks! I did this where accomcost is the field that is added together, but the total cost field does update, but not automatically, it is always one selection behind. i.e. If i select options and accomodation cost updates to £900, total cost remains empty. If i then change the selection and the accomodation updates to £300, the total cost updates to the previous selection of £900.   I have a drop down select box inside a div. When the user clicks on change, a dropdown box appears next to the change/submit button and the user makes a selection which then updates the db and the selection appears instead of the dropdown. All works fine in IE8 and firefox but in IE7 it allows one selection (there are several identical dropdowns) but the second time a selection is made it hangs on please wait. • Creating a ListView and setting the background color of a view in each row.

  Hey Everyone, I am trying to implement a ListView that is composed of rows that contain a View on the left followed by a TextView to the right of that. I want to be able to change the background color of the first View based on it's position in the ListView. By default, the first RadioButtonField shows a rectangle around it to show its selected, and the rectangle moves if you change the selection to the other RadioButtonField or other buttons and textboxes on the page.   Hi, I have a listbox inside another list box, in inner list box listboxitems height may grow or shrink. My problem is that when the inner items shrink the outer list box doesn't re-render its height. Thus - stays with the previous height before the inner list shrinked. I have tried so many things here, among Invalidate of all types, selection and de-selection of the list box item that should be updated and more - nothing helps.... Can anyone pls help me with this? • NSArraycontroller selectionIndexes bindings

  Hi all, I have the following set-up: A Window that has a splitView in which I display I NSCollectionView in the left view and a detailView in the right view. Both views are set-up in separate xibs. Furthermore I have a Datacontroller (of class NSArrayController) that manages a mutable Array of NSMutableDictionaries (moviesForChoice). The dataController is set-up as application delegate. The movie objects in the array have properties like (name, plot, genre etc.) so far so good... In the xib for the NScollectionview I bound a NSArraycontroller content property to my datacontroller via Application.delegate.moviesForChoice The collectionView accesses the arraycontroller.arrrangedObjects and arraycontroller.selectionIndexes. This works fine the contents are displayed and the selection works fine in the collectionview (my collectionviewItem renders a selection color) In the xib for the detailView I want to display information for the selected object in the collectionview. Therefore I also added an arraycontroller to the xib, bound the content aray to Application.delegate.moviesForChoice and bound the NSTextfields in the view to e.g. arraycontroller.selection.name Here comes my issue: everytime I open the window with the two xibs, my collectionview displays all movies that are for choice correctly, and the detailview displays the information for the 1st object in my collectionview. Whenever I click on a different movie in the collectionView the res. item renders a selection color, but the detailView doesn't update. My understanding of it would be that the DataController is not informed about updates in the selectionIndexes and can therefore not trigger an update in the detailView. Correct me if I'm wrong... To remedy this I tried to bind the selectionIndexes property of the arraycontroller in the collectionView xib to Application.delegate.moviesForChoice.selecionIndexes but this failed with: addObserver:forKeyPath:options:context:] is not supported. • How to target SCOM 2007 R2 monitor to monitor only one server

  Hi, This might be basic, but hopefully someone can help me: We have a well-working SCOM 2007 R2 implementation monitoring our Microsoft infrastructure. Now, on one of these servers there's an event (logged to the eventlog) that I need to be alerted on. I have created a group and put this one windows server in it. Then, I created a monitor with simple event detection, entered the event id and used the group name as "monitor target". This doesnt work - the monitor doesn't show up in health explorer at all. However, If I create the monitor with "Windows computers" as target it works, but that means I'll have to disable the monitor, and then enable it for the group, which is cumbersome and slightly illogical to me. Is this by design, or am I doing something wrong?

I want to be able to authenticate users against Windows ActiveDirectory (2008 R2) and the users file, because some of my co-workers are not listed in AD. We use the freeradius server to authenticate WLAN users. • Why don't I have write permission to my vmware virtual network device?

  I want to allow my VMWare machine to force the virtual network it's on into promiscuous mode so I can play around with honeyd. I received an error message that told me to go to http://vmware.com/info?id=161 to allow this behavior. Based on their advice, I did: $ groupadd promiscuous $ cat /etc/group | grep promiscuous promiscuous:x:1002:robert $ usermod -a -G promiscuous robert $ id robert uid=1000(robert) gid=1000(robert) groups=1000(robert),....,1002(promiscuous) $ chgrp newgroup /dev/vmnet8 $ chmod g+rw /dev/vmnet8 $ ls -l /dev/vmnet8 crw-rw---- 1 root promiscuous 119, 8 2012-03-29 10:29 /dev/vmnet8 Looks like I gave RW permission to the promiscuous group, and added myself. Except that VMWare still gives me an error message that says I cannot enter promiscuous mode. To try out the group thing, I tried: $ echo "1" >/dev/vmnet8 bash: /dev/vmnet8: Permission denied That really surprised me: It makes me think that I still haven't properly given myself the correct permissions... What am I missing?
