    Hi there, I have done some work with JSF(using netbeans as the IDE) and within your jsp/xhtml file you get code on beans/resource bundles that your have defined. ATM I am investigating struts2 and seem to be unable to get similar functionality in the IDE. Is this just the case with the IDE or do I need to define something? Thanks

  • How do I get started in embedded programing?

    I would like to get started in embedded systems programming but don't know where to start...I have a very solid knowledge of C and C++ and would preferably like to use these languages with the GNU compilers. I have a degree in CS so I have a solid foundation... I have no clue about what hardware and other resources that I will need...If you work or are knowledgeable in this area, how did you get started and what are some good resource for a beginner?   • Strange iPhone application icon view in the iTunes's Applications section

    When I drag 'My iPhone App' application's file into iTunes it has proper view. Rounded corners and transparent background. Then I close iTunes and open it again. Corners are still rounded but...   • Setting a ListView Divider in code

    One of my ListView's needs to be created in code. When I specify a ListView in xml, I can set a dividerHeight and assign a color to the divider. But apparently, in code a color is not acceptable nor is pointing to a resource id. Only a Drawable is acceptable - and I haven't gotten to that chapter yet. Can someone point me to an example of setting a ListView divider in code?

  • on facebook, how do i authenticate an application, using JavaScript?

    I can only find samples using php or curl. I want to do something like https://graph.facebook.com/<app_id>/accounts/test-users? installed=true&permissions=read_stream and the response is: { "error": { "type": "OAuthException", "message": "An access token is required to request this resource." } } as well is should... so how do i get the access token in JavaScript (using the JavaScript SDK obviously). thanks!

  • Two Persistence Units, Two entityManagerFactory(s), SPring, JPA, Hibernate

    I am using Two entityManagerFactory{1,2} based on two persistence units, autowired through spring, hibernate, with resource local. My DaoImpls are configured with the PersistenceUnit(unitName='...') according to the unit needed. I was under the impression that using them with the unitName specified would allow me to use x number of PUs without problem but I still get: expected single matching bean but found two: [emf1, emf2]. Am I missing some other configuration?

    I like the ease of using @Resource annotation to get a DataSource, but as far as I know, it's not possible to use it in a regular JavaBean. Would it be considered a bad practice if I pass the DataSource object from a servlet to a bean along with the other data to avoid having that lookup code in the bean?

    I'm writing an Apache module and want to get a string with the Apache name version and other details. Much like what gets added to outgoing headers, e.g.: Server: Apache/2.2.13 (Win32) I've tried code like this: apr_table_get(request_rec->headers_out,"Server") But that doesn't seem to work. Is there an API call I haven't found or am I doomed to get version resource data from httpd.exe?

    Hi, I Want to load Image size 2550X3300 (i.e 1.7 Mb size), i have loaded the image into UIImageView and application gets crash due to low memory, Now i have loaded into uiWebview it works fine but i have to save this image into an PDF file in local resource. While iam saving UIImage in background same app gets crash due to low memory. Anyone has some suggestion or help to solve this issue. Thank You.
