  • Can't type text into table cell when form is protected in Word 2002

    I created several tables in an Word 2002 document to act as a form for users to fill out. In some cells I added check boxes and dropdown lists for people to select options from. When I click on the Protect form button the check boxes and dropdowns become active; however, I can't type anything in the other cells. If I click in an empty cell it automatically moves to the next checkbox. When I unprotect the form then I can type in the empty cells but then checkboxes and dropdowns become useless. I know that the user can double click on the checkbox and then manually select to have it checked, but they can't do this with the dropdowns. What do I have to do to allow the user to type in responses to the tables cells and also select answers from checkboxes and dropdowns? Thanks!

Instead of open in PDF application it is rendering PDF as text.     Hello all As the title says, I want to truncate user-input text string based on the width and height of a designated container. My specification is to truncate the string, display some message like Read More at the end and when user clicks on it, the text slides down. UPDATE: Ah! Forgot one thing.     i am working with android webview and inside webview i am displaying the webpage which is having css,Javascript so i want that whenever i will select the checkbox and try to zoom the page so it should wrap otherwise it should not. So for that i tried to set the property of css - w.loadUrl("javascript:(function() {" + "document.getElementByTagName('html')[0].style.whiteSpace='nowrap';})"); but i am changing these properties by programming so it is not affecting the text content so please tell me how can i make the webpage text as wrapped if the checkbox is selected and it should not wrap if the checkbox is not selected,so please provide me any suggestion??   • Check the encoding of text in SQlite

    I'm having a nightmare dealing with non Eurpean texts in SQlite. I think the problem is that SQlite isn't encoding the text in UTF8. So I want to check what the encoding is, and hopefully change it to utf8. I encoded a CSV in UTF8 and simply imported it to SQlite but the non-roman text is garbled. I would like to know: 1)how to check the encoding. 2)How to change the encoding if it is not utf8. I've been reading about Pragma encoding, but I'm not sure how to use this.

  • Print same text several time to one page

    I have a odt(or pdf, or ps) file. [Really I have odt, but I can easily convert it], it consist of 1 page. No I want to print it to another pdf 4 times to 1 page. There is an option pages per side, so If I copy-paste 4 times my document and set this option to 4 I'll have my expected result. But I want to do it without copy-paste because it's quite annoying to copy-and-paste before each printing. Is it simpler way?

I am working with an Ubuntu server and I type in grep 'bash' *.sh BUT fgrep 'bash' *.sh works like a champ. which grep and which fgrep both point to their respective executables in /bin. I am perplexed as to what I am doing wrong. EXAMPLE output: $ grep -F 'grounding' repl.clj Usage: grep [OPTION]... PATTERN [FILE]... Search for PATTERN in each FILE or standard input. PATTERN is, by default, a basic regular expression (BRE). Example: grep -i 'hello world' menu.h main.c $ fgrep 'grounding' repl.clj (p/concepts-for-grounding-term imp1 "PERSON" "summary") See? grep is failing but fgrep is working fine.     Hello, so here is what I am trying to do. I have a birth date text field, while the user in puts text i want the field to automatically put it in the form YYYY-MM-DD.   • Drupal CCK Text field not saving.

    Hey Guys, I've been trying to write a CCK Field based on the Text field. But if I create a standard CCK Text field with only 1 value. Then edit a content item for this type, the values are never persisted. When I go back in and edit the same node, the value isn't there. I checked the database and its not in the table for the CCK node. If I use more than one value it works fine. I'm upto date on CCK (6.x-2.6) and CTools (6.x-1.5). Has anyone seen this? and a possible solution?

Is there any way to select that checkbox knowing only the text that follows?
