• SQL Server replication error

  "The identity range managed by replication is full and must be updated by a replication agent." This has started happening. We recently broke replication on purpose and don't plan to re-establish the replication. What else do I need to do to fix this error? Does anyone have any advice for me?

• Getting individuals keys replaced on netbook.

  Hi all, Just today during a freak accident, a book got tossed onto my Samsung N120 netbook while it was open and the 'G' and 'T' key flew off. Part of the plastic underneath broke off. I was wondering where I would be able to find suppliers for individual keys for my netbook. Also, would it be better to replace the entire keyboard? Thanks in advance.

• Graphite Integration breaks ganglia/gmetad?

  I'm trying to forward metrics from gmetad to graphite/carbon. After configuring carbon_server and ganglia_prefix in gmetad.conf gmetad starts losing metrics. gmetad Version is 3.3.5, carbon/whisper/graphite-web is 0.9.8. There is no I/O bottleneck on the system and no CPU bottleneck (HP DL385G7 with 2 SSDs in RAID0), I even configured another gmetad on a remote host to send metrics to graphite/carbon, which also broke down. Does anyone else experience this?

  Hi, I have a few mp3 files which are not tagged. Winamp has a nice feature which I think is called "autotag" and which is very good at finding out artist and title for files. I'd like something like this for unix, so that I could possibly get artists and titles for my untagged files. Do you know some program which does this? Thanks.

• iTunes 9 not sorting albums by track order consistently

  I have my iTunes library set to sort by music by Artist, then album (). For most of my albums this will also sort the albums in the correct track listing order (using the track number tag). Except for one album: As you can see, "The Boy Who Knew Too Much" seems to sort erratically. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

• Building Debian package - pre-installation check

  I am building a custom Debian package and during the installation, I would like the package to check for available diskspace and only proceed if there is enough space. I would like this to happen during re-install as well. I tried adding bash code to do the check in preinst and prerm file(for re-installations) with exit 1 if the check fails, but the installer went ahead and copied files and I end up with a broke installation. What am I doing wrong?

  In other words, if I have a list with entries formatted "[Artist Name] - [Track Name]" without advanced knowledge of their corresponding YouTube URLs (if any exist), how might I script things so that YouTube searches for each entry, and generates the URLs for the first n number of identical or similar entries per a YouTube query?   On fedora-13, I tried using: unzip -j [nameof.zip] but this doesn't seem to maintain the folder structure of the original archive. I REALLY need to maintain this structure because the archive is a backup of all my m4a's which are being converted to mp3. If I just convert it as is, then i'll just have a single massive directory full of mp3's, but they won't be in their respective "artist" folder.

• cPanel Domain Aliases Messing Up DNS?

  Hi guys I have an issue, on my main domain when I added subdomain aliases it broke access via www and none of the sub domain aliases work. When I do it for other domains however it works. The main nameservers for this domain are ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com. Could it be because they are the domain servers this cannot work correctly? This worked fine in plesk, its just weird its breaking in cPanel.

• gnome-terminal Breaks After Changing the Default Size at Startup

• Gzip not working in browser

  According to whatsmyip.org none of my browsers (Firefox, Chrome etc) on W7 are gzip enabled, it's saying 'NO, your browser is not requesting compressed content' which agrees with Chrome developer tools as I was testing a site and it was complaining that the page and css etc weren't compressed. I've searched for an answer but cannot find anything for this. I've tested from another pc connected to the router and that works fine, something on this pc is broke.... Any help tia

  So i had copied my windows 7 files from an installation disc to a flash disk which i had made bootable to format a mini laptop with no DVD drive, then by mistake broke the installation disc but still have the files in the flash disc, i want to burn them into another disk.   This question already has an answer here: Not booting from USB or CD (SYSLINUX Message) 10 answers this what is happening, i downloaded (ubuntu-gnome-14.04.1-desktop) and (elementaryos-unstable-amd64.20140810) to try out in my laptop and i have use (unetbootin-windows-608) and (Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.5.5) but i get this message every time i try to boot from the usb (SYSLINUX 4.07 EDD 2013-07-25 Copyright (C) 1994-2013 H. Peter Anvin et al) however i tried in an old desktop that i have and it works although the installer gets stuck on most of the time at the part of reading partitions/hard drives so please i really need help with this. note: i did installed os x long time ago and i broke windows installation then fix it following some online tutorials just for FYI thanks please can somebody help to fix this problem, i have been looking on google but haven't found anything in concrete. please help

• https & ajax crawling

  We made on our webpage https://www.1point618.com a transition to ssl and now we using nearly entirely ajax to load the content. Therefore all urls of existing pages have changed. We used the 301 redirect as recommended, also we have implemented google's specification that the webpage is still crawl-able. We thought that maybe it would last a month that we have the same ranking in google's search results, but still google's search results are much worse than before these changes. Most of the content (artist profiles) isn't indexed anymore. For example of the submitted sitemap only 3 of around 450 urls are indexed. Before almost all urls were indexed. My question is now: Does google's ajax crawling work together with ssl? (It looks like it would work, cause of the access log file.)
