    Hi, i have a stored procedure that has to retrieve data from multiple tables something like SELECT [AppointmentId] ,[ContactId] ,[Date] ,[BookedBy] ,[Details] ,[Status] ,[Time] ,[Type] ,[JobId] ,[AppointmentFor] ,(Select PersonFirstName from Person where Person_Id = [AppointmentFor]) As UserFirstName ,(Select PersonLastName from Person where Person_Id = [AppointmentFor]) As UserLastName ,(Select PersonFirstName from Person where Person_Id = [ContactId]) As ContactFirstName ,(Select PersonLastName from Person where Person_Id = [ContactId]) As ContactLastName FROM [dbo].[Appointments] my question is there is any other more efficient way to do this? Or is this the right approach? I am working on a Sql server 2008 Thanks

  • Radio button inside anchor element is reset after jQuery click handler

    I have a situation where an element, of type radio, is contained in an element. The anchor element has a href but I want to override that behaviour by adding a jQuery 'click' handler to the element. The click handler makes the radio button inside it the selected one within the group. This all works when the anchor is clicked, however, when the radio button is clicked it appears that jQuery resets the selected radio to the previously selected one! While my code is under execution, the values for the MainArray get's changes although, that has been added to Array. Every time there are 9 records in Array, it just replaces the whole Array value instead of just for specific key Value.

    Can somebody point me at a good tutorial for py2exe? I've read over the official tutorial but it is rather light on details, compared to all the options one can use when building an executable out of a python script. For the record, my python script uses Python 2.5.2, wxPython/wxWidgets 2.8 and MySQLdb 1.2.2; so if you have specific tips for py2exe with those packages that would be much appreciated (and yes, I've seen the Py2EXE and wxPython page).

    Delphi 2011 will allow to compile applications that will run also on MacOS. Is it realistical to think that it will be possible to "migrate to cross platform" a win32 application? Will 3rd party component vendors make their library cross platform or this is practically not possible? I use the following 3rd party components: devexpress - UI devart - DAC Reportbuilder - UI Steema/TeeChart - UI I don't expect to have a wizard that will do the job for me, I just want to understand better the details.

    Hi, I need to validate a date in a web forms application. For this I use a CompareValidator with Operator="DataTypeCheck" Type="Date" The problem is that this Validator doesn't work properly on Firefox with 2 digit years. ( javascript error: m[2] is undefined) With a 4 digits year it's working properly.     I am using Core-Plot to draw the pie chart.I am having no issues in drawing the pie chart.I need the pie chart to be interactive in nature, i.e., if I click on any particular section on pie chart, it should navigate to the next page showing details of that particular section. A little bit more details, we develop on local machines, and then we need to transfer the code and database changes to production (pretty much standard story).     I have a simple application to store address details and edit them. I have been away from VB for a few years now and need to refreash my knowledge while working to a tight deadline. I have a general Sub responsible for displaying a form where user can add contact details (by pressing button add) and edit them (by pressing button edit). This sub is stored in a class Contact. The way it is supposed to work is that there is a list with all the contacts and when new contact is added a new entry is displayed.
