    Hi, I'm using GWT with GAE. When the user enters any of the following urls, I want to just serve my app as usual to them: http://www.mysite.com/ http://www.mysite.com/dog http://www.mysite.com/cat the first case works by default. I'm not sure how to get the /dog and /cat cases to work. I think I have to modify something with the url mappings to get that to work in web.xml. Essentially I'm trying to just get my app served with any url entered: http://www.mysite.com/* Thanks

    I have a model that looks like this: class Client(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=100, primary_key=True) user = models.ForeignKey(User) class Contract(models.Model): title = models.CharField(max_length=100, primary_key=True) start_date = models.DateField() end_date = models.DateField() description = models.TextField() client = models.ForeignKey(Client) user = models.ForeignKey(User) How can i configure a django form so that only clients associated with that user show in the field in the form? My initial thought was this in my forms.py: client = forms.ModelChoiceField(queryset=Client.objects.filter(user__username = User.username)) But it didn't work. So how else would I go about it?

    Heyy there, i have an application, and in my urls.py i have something like that: urlpatterns = patterns('', url(r'^profile_view/(?P<id>\d+)/$', profile_view, name='profile_view'),) meaning that the profile_view function has id as a parameter. Now, i want to call that function from another template than the one associated with the def-view that has this url. How should i do that? i have to put two render_to_response to one same function, in order to render the objects from both models? thank you!

When I put more than 2 items in the download queue my device is unusable. It nearly freezes. Huge lags and so on. Any idea? 'python manage.py syncdb' command created databases, it seems like logging works, but there is nothing about it in admin panel. As I found in documentation, it should add itself in admin panel without any additional configuration, but then I added 'djangodblog.middleware.DBLogMiddleware' in MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES and 'djangodblog' in INSTALLED_APPS it looks like nothing happens. What I'm doing wrong?

    Hi all I have a URL such as http://www.domain.com/index.php?p=register. I want to redirect that to use HTTPS (SSL) with .htaccess, but only on this, and a couple of other pages (the login page, etc), but not the entire site. The URLs don't point to directories, but are used to dynamically include different files. Can someone give me a pointer or an example of how to get a single page redirect to HTTPS please?     I want to use file_get_contents to implement a proxy so I can do ajax cross domain requests. Querystring will be used to supply the URL to file_get_contents. Now the problem is people can muck around with the qurystring in order to read local files on the server. I dont wnat this. Can someone get me a function to sinitize the querystring in order only to accept urls and not local files: ie: ?url=http://google.com.au - OK ?url=./passwords.txt - Not OK
