  • Does the size of monitor Matters ?

    I have a old computer , i want to buy a big LCD now the best i can found is Viewsonic's 24" lcd TFT monitor . So will it run without any problems or i need to upgrade the video cards or something too ? The computer is not that much old it has P4 bord and celeron processor with 128 graphics memory . And in properties it shows i can maximum use 1280 x 1024 resolution. I am noob hardware wise So need help on this stuff. Thanks

  • PHP problem with die()

    So, I have this code: } else { $photograph_moderation = new PhotographModeration($this->photograph_id); $photograph_moderation->purgePhotograph(); //eventually take to an error page die('image is not big enough to upload'); } the purgePhotograph() function gets called properly when this condition is met, but the script never appears to die. Is there a reason why die wouldn't get called here? purgePhotograph() has no script killing commands either.

    If it's possible to change mock behaviour in Rhino Mocks using mock.Stub().Return(), why do we need Stubs anyway? What do we lose by always using MockRepository.GenerateMock()? One big benefit of using Mocks instead of Stubs is that we will be able to reuse the same instance among all the tests keeping them cleaner and straightforward. The moq framework works in a similar way... we don't have different objects for mocks and stubs. (please, don't answer with a link to Fowler's "Mocks aren't stubs" article)

When I'm ready to push patches or whole new versions I'm currently copying the files individually, is there a program that can help me do this task?     I'm using will_paginate in a facebook application and when i click on the next button or a page number i get the url below. This is fine if everyone was using safari, but it breaks on ie and ff. In the other hand i have product list ( can be very big one ) and according to the product information i need to find the best matching between the person information and the product ( the product information that i have are water part, nitrogen part and ext. ) I can't use flow chart algorithm or Breadth-first search because the number of the product is dynamically ( read the product list from DB ... )
