  • what is the default timezone in Websphere 6.1

    - by neverland
Hi am running websphere 6.1 on RSA what is the default timezone set on it if i dont set any websphere variable etc(like the TZ variable). Running into this weird issue where my application shows timestamp correctly for User timezone ,when i run it from my dev env but pulls out all timestamps in GMT irrespective of the logged in users timezone in an env which is supposed to have the server run on GMT. So wanted to know what was the default TZ set if you do not configure anything

  • mysql unique-constraint

    - by Cypher
I have two tables -- Variables (id, name) and Variable_Entries (id, var_id, value). I want each variable to have a unique set of entries. If I make the value entry unique then a different variable won't be able to have that same value which is not right. Is there some way to make the value column unique for identical var_id's?

  • Go - Pointer to map

    - by nevalu
Having some maps defined as: var valueToSomeType = map[uint8]someType{...} var nameToSomeType = map[string]someType{...} I would want a variable that points to the address of the maps (to don't copy all variable). I tried it using: valueTo := &valueToSomeType nameTo := &nameToSomeType but at using valueTo[number], it shows internal compiler error: var without type, init: new How to get it?

  • How to "escape" a whole String - an SQL query

    - by Ankur
When I add a relative path to an SQL query as a String all the \ get removed. I am trying to add the String ("pics\\"+onlyFile) and as you can see I have escaped the \ character so I don't understand why it is being removed. onlyFile is a variable containing a file name. The value of the "src" variable (the one I am discussing) just before the SQL statement is correct, hence it is something happening when it is added to the SQL query.

  • XSLT 1.0 recursion

    - by DashaLuna
    I'm stuck with recursion, was wondering if anyone can help me out with it. I have <Receipts> and <Deposits> elements, that are not verbose, i.e. that a <Receipts> element doesn't have an attribute to show what <Deposit> it is towards. I need to figure out <Deposits> "still amount due" and when a last receipt towards it was paid if any. I'm trying to do it with the following code: The idea was to take 1st deposit and see if there are receipts. If the deposit isn't fully paid and there are more receipts - call that recorsive function with all the same params except now count in following receipt. If there aren't any more receipts or deposit is payed - process it correctly (add required attributes). Otherwise proceed with 2nd deposit. And so on. However, the XSLT crashes with error message that "a processor stack has overflowed - possible cause is infinite template recursion" I would really appreciate any help/teps... I'm not that great with recursion and can't understand why mine here doesn't work. Thanks! :) <!-- Accumulate all the deposits with @DueAmount attribute --> <xsl:variable name="depositsClassified"> <xsl:call-template name="classifyDeposits"> <!-- a node-list of all Deposits elements ordered by DueDate Acs --> <xsl:with-param name="depositsAll" select="$deposits"/> <xsl:with-param name="depositPrevAmount" select="'0'"/> <!-- a node-list of all Receipts elements ordered by ReceivedDate Acs --> <xsl:with-param name="receiptsAll" select="$receiptsAsc"/> <xsl:with-param name="receiptCount" select="'1'"/> </xsl:call-template> </xsl:variable> <xsl:template name="classifyDeposits"> <xsl:param name="depositsAll"/> <xsl:param name="depositPrevAmount" select="'0'"/> <xsl:param name="receiptsAll"/> <xsl:param name="receiptCount"/> <xsl:if test="$deposits"> <!-- Do required operations for the 1st deposit --> <xsl:variable name="depositFirst" select="$depositsAll[1]"/> <xsl:variable name="receiptSum"> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="$receiptsAll"> <xsl:value-of select="sum($receiptsAll[position() &lt;= $receiptCount]/@ActionAmount)"/> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise>0</xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> </xsl:variable> <xsl:variable name="diff" select="$depositPrevAmount + $depositFirst/@DepositTotalAmount - $receiptSum"/> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="$diff &gt; 0 and $receiptCount &lt; $receiptsQuantityOf"> <xsl:call-template name="classifyDeposits"> <xsl:with-param name="depositsAll" select="$depositsAll"/> <xsl:with-param name="depositPrevAmount" select="$depositPrevAmount"/> <xsl:with-param name="receiptsAll" select="$receiptsAll"/> <xsl:with-param name="receiptCount" select="$receiptCount + 1"/> </xsl:call-template> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <!-- Record changes to the deposit (@DueAmount and receipt ReceivedDate) --> <xsl:apply-templates select="$depositFirst" mode="defineDeposit"> <xsl:with-param name="diff" select="$diff"/> <xsl:with-param name="latestReceiptForDeposit" select="$receiptsAll[position() = $receiptCount]"/> </xsl:apply-templates> <!-- Recursive call to the next deposit --> <xsl:call-template name="classifyDeposits"> <xsl:with-param name="depositsAll" select="$depositsAll[position() &gt; 1]"/> <xsl:with-param name="depositPrevAmount" select="$depositPrevAmount + $depositFirst/@DepositTotalAmount"/> <xsl:with-param name="receiptsAll" select="$receiptsAll"/> <xsl:with-param name="receiptCount" select="'1'"/> </xsl:call-template> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> </xsl:if> </xsl:template> <!-- Determine deposit's status, due amount and payment received date if any --> <xsl:template match="Deposits" mode="defineDeposit"> <xsl:param name="diff"/> <xsl:param name="latestReceiptForDeposit"/> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="$diff &lt;= 0"> <xsl:apply-templates select="." mode="addAttrs"> <xsl:with-param name="status" select="'paid'"/> <xsl:with-param name="dueAmount" select="'0'"/> <xsl:with-param name="receipt" select="$latestReceiptForDeposit"/> </xsl:apply-templates> </xsl:when> <xsl:when test="$diff = ./@DepositTotalAmount"> <xsl:apply-templates select="." mode="addAttrs"> <xsl:with-param name="status" select="'due'"/> <xsl:with-param name="dueAmount" select="$diff"/> </xsl:apply-templates> </xsl:when> <xsl:when test="$diff &lt; ./@DepositTotalAmount"> <xsl:apply-templates select="." mode="addAttrs"> <xsl:with-param name="status" select="'outstanding'"/> <xsl:with-param name="dueAmount" select="$diff"/> <xsl:with-param name="receipt" select="$latestReceiptForDeposit"/> </xsl:apply-templates> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise/> </xsl:choose> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="Deposits" mode="addAttrs"> <xsl:param name="status"/> <xsl:param name="dueAmount"/> <xsl:param name="receipt" select="''"/> <!-- Constract a new MultiDeposits element with required info --> <xsl:copy> <xsl:copy-of select="./@*"/> <xsl:attribute name="Status"><xsl:value-of select="$status"/></xsl:attribute> <xsl:attribute name="DueAmount"><xsl:value-of select="$dueAmount"/></xsl:attribute> <xsl:if test="$receipt"> <xsl:attribute name="latestReceiptDate"> <xsl:value-of select="$receipt/@ActionDate"/> </xsl:attribute> </xsl:if> <xsl:copy-of select="./*"/> </xsl:copy> </xsl:template>

  • Specify additional files to clean when doing a "make clean" with autoconf

    - by vy32
I am using autoconf. Right now I have an intermediate .cpp file that is generated. I want to have the .cpp file deleted when I do a "make clean". I tried specifying the file in a CONFIG_CLEAN_FILES variable, but that only takes effect when I do a make distlclean. Is there a variable to set to delete the file when I do a make clean? If not, how do I do it? Thanks

  • How to find minimum of nonlinear, multivariate function using Newton's method (code not linear algeb

    - by Norman Ramsey
I'm trying to do some parameter estimation and want to choose parameter estimates that minimize the square error in a predicted equation over about 30 variables. If the equation were linear, I would just compute the 30 partial derivatives, set them all to zero, and use a linear-equation solver. But unfortunately the equation is nonlinear and so are its derivatives. If the equation were over a single variable, I would just use Newton's method (also known as Newton-Raphson). The Web is rich in examples and code to implement Newton's method for functions of a single variable. Given that I have about 30 variables, how can I program a numeric solution to this problem using Newton's method? I have the equation in closed form and can compute the first and second derivatives, but I don't know quite how to proceed from there. I have found a large number of treatments on the web, but they quickly get into heavy matrix notation. I've found something moderately helpful on Wikipedia, but I'm having trouble translating it into code. Where I'm worried about breaking down is in the matrix algebra and matrix inversions. I can invert a matrix with a linear-equation solver but I'm worried about getting the right rows and columns, avoiding transposition errors, and so on. To be quite concrete: I want to work with tables mapping variables to their values. I can write a function of such a table that returns the square error given such a table as argument. I can also create functions that return a partial derivative with respect to any given variable. I have a reasonable starting estimate for the values in the table, so I'm not worried about convergence. I'm not sure how to write the loop that uses an estimate (table of value for each variable), the function, and a table of partial-derivative functions to produce a new estimate. That last is what I'd like help with. Any direct help or pointers to good sources will be warmly appreciated. Edit: Since I have the first and second derivatives in closed form, I would like to take advantage of them and avoid more slowly converging methods like simplex searches.

Hi, I have a function that will get a JSON array with objects. In the function I will be able to loop through the array, access a property and use that property. Like this: Variable that I will pass to the function will look like this: [{"id":28,"Title":"Sweden"}, {"id":56,"Title":"USA"}, {"id":89,"Title":"England"}] function test(myJSON) { // maybe parse my the JSON variable? // and then I want to loop through it and access my IDs and my titles } Any suggestions how I can solve it? Regards, Fredrik

  • Setting up Django on an internal server (os.environ() not working as expected?)

    - by monkut
I'm trying to setup Django on an internal company server. (No external connection to the Internet.) Looking over the server setup documentation it appears that the "Running Django on a shared-hosting provider with Apache" method seems to be the most-likely to work in this situation. Here's the server information: Can't install mod_python no root access Server is SunOs 5.6 Python 2.5 Apache/2.0.46 I've installed Django (and flup) using the --prefix option (reading again I probably should've used --home, but at the moment it doesn't seem to matter) I've added the .htaccess file and mysite.fcgi file to my root web directory as mentioned here. When I run the mysite.fcgi script from the server I get my expected output (the correct site HTML output). But, it won't when trying to access it from a browser. It seems that it may be a problem with the PYTHONPATH setting since I'm using the prefix option. I've noticed that if I run mysite.fcgi from the command-line without setting the PYTHONPATH enviornment variable it throws the following error: prompt$ python2.5 mysite.fcgi ERROR: No module named flup Unable to load the flup package. In order to run django as a FastCGI application, you will need to get flup from http://www.saddi.com/software/flup/ If you've already installed flup, then make sure you have it in your PYTHONPATH. I've added sys.path.append(prefixpath) and os.environ['PYTHONPATH'] = prefixpath to mysite.fcgi, but if I set the enviornment variable to be empty on the command-line then run mysite.fcgi, I still get the above error. Here are some command-line results: >>> os.environ['PYTHONPATH'] = 'Null' >>> >>> os.system('echo $PYTHONPATH') Null >>> os.environ['PYTHONPATH'] = '/prefix/path' >>> >>> os.system('echo $PYTHONPATH') /prefix/path >>> exit() prompt$ echo $PYTHONPATH Null It looks like Python is setting the variable OK, but the variable is only applicable inside of the script. Flup appears to be distributed as an .egg file, and my guess is that the egg implementation doesn't take into account variables added by os.environ['key'] = value (?) at least when installing via the --prefix option. I'm not that familiar with .pth files, but it seems that the easy-install.pth file is the one that points to flup: import sys; sys.__plen = len(sys.path) ./setuptools-0.6c6-py2.5.egg ./flup-1.0.1-py2.5.egg import sys; new=sys.path[sys.__plen:]; del sys.path[sys.__plen:]; p=getattr(sys,'__egginsert',0); sy s.path[p:p]=new; sys.__egginsert = p+len(new) It looks like it's doing something funky, anyway to edit this or add something to my code so it will find flup?

  • How can I call a function at the very end of document.ready

    - by Umair
I have multiple document.ready functions on a page and I want a function to be called when all my document.ready functions have been executed. I simply want the function to be called at the very end, after all other document.ready functions have executed. An example of this could be that each document.ready function increments a global variable when it has been executed, and the last function needs to check the value of that variable at the very end. Any ideas ?

  • What's the pythonic way of declaring variables?

    - by the_drow
Usually declaring variables on assignment is considered a best practice in VBScript or JavaScript , for example, although it is allowed. Why does Python force you to create the variable only when you use it? Since Python is case sensitive can't it cause bugs because you misspelled a variable's name? How would you avoid such a situation?

  • Delphi - Frac function losing precision.

    - by PeteDaMeat
I have a TDateTime variable which is assigned a value at runtime of 40510.416667. When I extract the time to a TTime type variable using the Frac function, it sets it to 0.41666666666. Why has it changed the precision of the value and is there a workround to retain the precision from the original value ie. to set it to 0.416667.

This has been asked on here (over a year ago), but apparently not answered, and WordPress is always evolving so maybe theres a good solution now. I want to pass variables to a WordPress page via the url (similar to CodeIgniter uri helper segments). Currently I can do this... My profile page is: http://website.com/profile I can pass a variable like this: http://website.com/profile?username=johndoe I want to pass the variable in like this: http://website.com/profile/johndoe There has to be some sort of helper function, right?

  • In C, do braces act as a stack frame?

    - by Claudiu
If I create a variable within a new set of curly braces, is that variable popped off the stack on the closing brace, or does it hang out until the end of the function? For example: void foo() { int c[100]; { int d[200]; } //code that takes a while return; } Will d be taking up memory during the code that takes a while section?

  • Immutable values in F#

    - by rsteckly
I'm just getting started in F# and have a basic question. Here's the code: let rec forLoop body times = if times <= 0 then () else body() forLoop body (times -1) I don't get the concept of how when you define a variable it is a value and immutable. Here, the value is changing in order to loop. How is that different from a variable in C#?

  • How to limit results in a SharePoint XSL query

    - by David
Hello all, I am creating a SharePoint site that we will use to report issues with trucks used in our business. Linked to the list I have created will be a page that will display an overview of the trucks and a little truck icon will show the trucks current status. Green and the truck is okay (no open issues), Red and the truck have an open issue with status "Undrivable", Orange and there is two issues open that requires the user to look further into the truck before using it and finally a Gray truck for when there is a new issue created that has not been looked into (not sure if it is drivable or not). I have managed to create the "Dashboard" and with my limit XSL/XPATH knowledge been able to add a truck and replicate the description above but... in my test I have created 4 issues, for example if three of them are changed to status Closed and one left to Undrivable I will get four icons on the page, three with Green trucks and the last one Red. So in theory it works but I obviously only want to see the last truck, one truck. I am not interested in seeing the others. <xsl:template name="dvt_1.rowview"> <xsl:variable name="CountReport" select="count(/dsQueryResponse/Rows/Row[@Highloader='GGEU12' and @Status!='Closed'])" /> <xsl:variable name="MoreThan" select="$CountReport &gt; 1" /> <xsl:variable name="NoReports" select="$CountReport = 0" /> <xsl:variable name="Closed" select=" @Highloader='GGEU12' and @Status='Closed'" /> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="$MoreThan"> <div class="ms-vb"><img title='More than one report exist!' border='0' alt='In Progress' src='highloader/Library/hl-orange.png' /></div> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <div class="ms-vb"><xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes" select="@Icon" /></div> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> </xsl:template> My hope is that someone with slightly more knowledge can find the last piece of the puzzle for me! Thanks for reading and asking questions to fill any gap I left above. David
