• Spring Security - Persistent Remember Me Issue

  I've been trying to track down why Spring Security isn't creating the Spring Security remember me cookie (SPRING_SECURITY_REMEMBER_ME_COOKIE). At first glance, the logs make it seem like the login is failing, but the login is actually successful in the sense that if I navigate to a page that requires authentication I am not redirected back to the login page. However, the logs appear to be saying the login credentials are invalid. I'm using Spring 3.0.1, Spring Security 3.0.1, and Google App Engine 1.3.1. Any ideas as to what is going on? • Using SharePoint label to display document version in Word 2007 doesn't work when moved to another l

  I am surfacing the Document Library version of a Word 2007 document by creating a Label ({version}) within the content type of the Document Library and adding it as a Quick-part Label in the Word 2007 document. This works great. The latest version always shows up when I open the Word document. I also added this Version quick-part field to the footer of the Word document and then added this document as a document template to my content type, "ContentTypeMain". Now, I can go to my Document Library and I can create a New instance of "ContentTypeMain" with the Version field automatically there. This works great as well. However, if I create another Document Library and add the same Content Type, "ContentTypeMain" to it, the value of the Version quick-part doesn't update or refresh. The only way is to add another copy of the Label quick-part. It seems like the Quick-Part Label that maps to the Document Library Version is unique to the Document Library. My application dynamically creates subsites using site definitions and list templates. Thus the document library in each of the subsites are all being created from the same List Template. I inspected the XML files under the hood of the Word Document and it does look like there is a GUID attached to the Quick-Part Version field.

  I run a game server and want to link the persons in game character name and stats to Invision Power Board. I've setup IPB so players currently login with their in game login. That means their username on the forum is the same as their username for the game. They can have multiple characters on 1 account so ideally I'd like to allow them to choose a main character and display an actual image of that character and allow them to display other characters if they are online. Currently I'm doing something like this by hacking profileFields.php but it's messy and not very efficient on the user or server end. My code currently uses 2 custom fields which the player can enter their character names in. To display only their main character they enter the name in the first field. To also display other characters if they are online they enter the same name into the second field. To resolve the IDs I have to run a lot of queries. I know PHP but I am not familiar with IPBs code at all. I just need pointed in a direction where I can combine the 2 fields into 1 field. tl;dr: Here is my setup: Invision Power Board 3 Data is stored in MySQL on the same server the forum is hosted on. Usernames on the forum are identical to usernames in the game Here is a breakdown of what I'd like to do: In the edit profile section I need to resolve the forum username to the games account id then: Display a list of characters and allow them to choose which characters they want to display if they are online as well as a default character that will be displayed if none are online. In the posts user info pane: Display the online character or the default if none are online. Here is what I need to know: How to generate a list of characters in the profile edit form and allow selection (checkbox) of each character to display as well as the selection of a default character (radio or dropdown?) How to fetch the data and place it in the posts user info pane

• Howto I get the user domain\username and Display name From SharePoint People Picker InternalId?

  I have been trying to user sharepoint designer to retrieve the user's full name and even the domain\username from the people pucker field but the problem is I tend to get numbers. It looks like the intetrnal Id. In my case I am getting 14 instead of domain\username from the list form's field. Any idea on where I can get the dmain\username or even better the full name? Thanks !! I am using SharePoint Designer and Windows Sharepoint Services 3/SharePoint 2007. Update : I have managed to get the domain\username now. I just had to change the people picker's show field to ID. However now I am getting a weird prefix on my domain\username. I am getting this -1;#domain\username instead of just domain\username. Anybody know how I can overcome this? Thanks !!

  I am trying to make a simple photo gallery website. Using ASP.NET and C#. Right now I don't have a server set up but I am just using the development one that Visual Studio Starts when you make a website project and run it. I have a folder on my hard drive that contains an unknown number of images. I want to write a piece of code that will go through each image and add them to the default webpage. I have tried this code but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Should I be using a ListView control or a DataView or something like that? Do I need to add a virtual directory in order to access the images? If so, how do I to that on this test server? ALSO, how do I set the position and alignment of these pictures? I have done this, but no matter what I do the images will not show up; only the alternate text. It makes no sense because the paths are correct. So far I have: EStartDate = new DateField("Start Date ", DateField.DATE); I had to change the name of the DateField box as this was conflicting with other things. I basically need to be able to show the selected record's date attribute. I currently have the other information displayed. I just need to be able to show the correct date. When I run the program the date field says <date>. Any help will be nice

  I am using a DataGrid object from the WPF toolkit. I am binding the DataGrid object to the default view of a DataTable instance as declared in the following code: WeatherGrid.ItemsSource = weatherDataTable.DefaultView; weatherDataTable has three columns. The first column is defined to contain a string data type. The other two columns are defined to contain double data types. When the application exits the function that calls the binding as expressed in the declaration, The DataGrid object displays data for the first column, but not the other columns. When I type the following in the immediate window in the debugger: ((DataRowView)WeatherGrid.Items[0]).Row[1] I get a number, but this doesn't correspond with what is being displayed. Why is only the first column visible, and how can I get all of the data to be visible? I can load an HTML file from the web, but when I try it locally, it just displays the contents of the file instead of running the script.   Hello everyone, I have an applet. In this I have a JLabel component. When the user clicks this label, a new JFrame component gets displayed. I want to set the value of setDefaultCloseOperation() for this frame as JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE. However, I get a SecurityException if I do that. I read the documentation of JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE and its written that : The exit application default window close operation. If a window has this set as the close operation and is closed in an applet, a SecurityException may be thrown. It is recommended you only use this in an application. What I understood from the above is that if a frame is closed without specifying default close operation, the frame is only hidden. I want to close the frame when the user tries to close it, and not hide the frame. Is this possible?
