  • Git: Checkout only files without repository?

    - by Max
    Hi, i'd like to just checkout the files without the .git files and the whole repository. It's because i'd like to manage a website (php & html) with git and i'm looking for an easy way to update the files in the htdocs folder from the repository, without having the repository public. (now it's in the home-dir and is accessed via ssh, but i have to put the new files to htdocs manually.

  • keeping single-quotes in http_build_query()?

    - by user151841
    I'm wanting to use http_build_query to change an array to html tag properties. Problem is, it's changing my single-quoted values into %27. So if I have http_build_query( array("type"=>"'hidden'", ... ), '', ' ' ); I get <input type=%27hidden%27 ...> How can I get around this?

  • Rsync friendly gzip

    - by Pacifika
    I must not be the only one - I'm rsyncing .tar.gz files and notice that every time the full file gets rsynced rather than the differences. Reading into it it seems back in 1999 someone created an algorithm that fixed the issue http://svana.org/kleptog/rgzip.html (only 5% of data needed transferred) Has this gone anywhere since, how do I create rsync friendly .tar.gz files?

Are they doing it through JS or there any http headers or HTML meta tags available to achieve this? I'm trying to do this for a mobile application. Please pour your ideas.

    - by user84047
    I know its possible to integrate jQuery within mozilla addons, but are we able to manipulate (animate, move, adjust transparency, etc) xul elements themselves?
