    I'm Delphi developer, and I would like to build few web applications, I know about Intraweb, but I think it's not a real tool for web development, maybe for just intranet applications so I'm considering PHP, Python or ruby, I prefer python because it's better syntax than other( I feel it closer to Delphi), also I want to deploy the application to shared hosting, specially Linux. so as Delphi developer, what do you choose to develop web application?

    Hi all, In general, it seems that the majority of times that ConnectionDroppedHandler would get called in an OCS server application is for expected reasons e.g. server application has been unregistered, server is shutting down, etc. Are there any unexpected situations in which ConnectionDroppedHandler can be called? Basically, i'm wondering whether it will ever be necessary to log an error to the event log from this event handler. Many thanks, Paul

    Hi, I have incorporated tinymce into my application. When i execute the jsp standalone, the print size seem consistent to what it should be i.e. 12Pt comes out as 12pt. Whereas when i run the same jsp from oracle developer using oracle application server 12pt comes out to be more like 8pt. Any thoughts. Please share any pointers. Thanks, Ashok

    As we can execute such executables in two ways, such as "sudo mono test.exe", and "mono test.exe". Now I want to know how to detect whether this application is running as root inside the application itself. I tried to check user name like below and see whether they equal to "root", Thread.CurrentPrincipal.Identity.Name Process.GetCurrentProcess().StartInfo.UserName AppDomain.CurrentDomain.ApplicationIdentity.FullName The first two are empty strings always, while the third throws NullReferenceException. Please advise if this is doable on Mono 2.6.

    Hello there, I don't know why, but a SOAP Server application and a pair of clients of this services stop compiling without any know causes for me. I have installed delphi 2007 and delphi 2009 and I don't know if the cause can come from this.     I have a small Java Web Application in which I am using Jersey 1.12 and the Hadoop 1.0.0 JAR file (hadoop-core-1.0.0.jar). When I deploy my application to my JBoss 5.0 server, the log file records the following error: SEVERE: Conflicting URI templates. The URI template / for root resource class org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.namenode.web.resources.NamenodeWebHdfsMethods and the URI template / transform to the same regular expression (/.*)? To make sure my code is not the problem, I have created a fresh web application that contains nothing but the Jersey and Hadoop JAR files along with a small stub.     I made a Home application and I'd like to offer the ability to exit it and unset it as the default application. Exit is easy (just starting an intent) but the problem is I don't want my program to be launched again the next time the user click the Home button. I know that this can be done by going in the parameters / Applications / my app / erase default actions but I would like to do it from my program so that the user doesn't have to search this function. How can it be done ?
