C# XmlSchemaSet - Resolving included schemas to enumerate attribute groups

Hi, I currently have a compiled XmlSchemaSet from which I get possible elements/attributes for each specific "parent" element defined in the schema. I have a single "master" xsd schema which includes another schema and uses attributeGroup references for some "common" elements. At the moment, when I get the possible attributes for a "Binding" element, I only get the "Name" attribute since it is originally defined in the "master" schema. Hey guys, I've been beating my head against this absolutely infuriating bug for the last 48 hours, so I thought I'd finally throw in the towel and try asking here before I throw my laptop out the window. I'm trying to parse the response XML from a call I made to AWS SimpleDB. Here's the bizarre part -- it works great inside the local server. The response comes in, I parse it, everyone's happy. (rest of lines omitted) I have double, triple, quadruple checked this XML for 'invisible characters' or non-UTF8 encoded characters, etc. I looked at it byte-by-byte in an array for byte-order-marks or something of that nature. Nothing; it passes every validation test I could throw at it. Even stranger, it happens if I use a Saxon-based parser as well -- but ONLY on GAE, it always works fine in my local environment. It makes it very hard to trace the code for problems when I can only run the debugger on an environment that works perfectly (I haven't found any good way to remotely debug on GAE). Nevertheless, using the primitive means I have, I've tried a million approaches including: XML with and without the prolog With and without newlines With and without the "encoding=" attribute in the prolog Both newline styles With and without the chunking information present in the HTTP stream And I've tried most of these in multiple combinations where it made sense they would interact -- nothing! I'm at my wit's end. Has anyone seen an issue like this before that can hopefully shed some light on it? Thanks!

Trouble determining proper decoding of a REST response from an ArcGIS REST service using IHttpModule

The REST services return data in one of several different formats. I am requesting a JSON response. I want to be able to modify the response (remove or add parameters) before the response is sent to the client. However, I am having difficulty converting the stream to a string that I can modify. To that end, I have implemented the following code in order to try to inspect the stream. I want to use the TcpClient and TcpListener to send an mp3 file over a network. I implemented a solution of this using sockets, but there were some issues so I am investigating a new/better way to send a file. I create a byte array which looks like this: length_of_filename|filename|file This should then be transmitted using the above mentioned classes, yet on the server side the byte array I read is completely messed up and I'm not sure why. Setting a breakpoint on my java code, I can see that it is not hit when I run the silverlight client, so it is probably a cross domain issue, but I'm not sure how to handle it (I've already created a crossdomain.xml file and put it beside my HTML page hosting the silverlight client). XSD Schema for XML with multiple structures

I am attempting to write an XML Schema to cover a number of XML conditions which I may encounter. I have the same root element (serviceRequest) with different child elements. I was trying to use the xs:extension element to define multiple versions, but it is complaining about unexpected element orderInclusionCriteria etc. Am I going about this the right way, or is there a better way to define this? The other way I thought about this was to have a single xs:choice with all the options inside it, but this seemed somewhat inelegant. These XSD files are for use within XMLBeans if that makes any difference. How do I send an email with embedded images AND regular attachments in JavaMail?

Hi, I'd like to know how to build an SMTP multipart message in the correct order so that it will render correctly on the iPhone mail client (rendering correctly in GMail). I'm using Javamail to build up an email containing the following parts: A body part with content type "text/html; UTF-8" An embedded image attachment. A file attachment I am sending the mail via GMail SMTP (via SSL) and the mail is sent and rendered correctly using a GMail account, however, the mail does not render correctly on the iPhone mail client. On the iPhone mail client, the image is rendered before the "Before Image" text when it should be rendered afterwards. After the "Before Image" text there is an icon with a question mark (I assume it means it couldn't find the referenced CID). I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the iPhone mail client or a bug in my mail sending code (I strongly assume the latter). I think that perhaps the headers on my parts might by incorrect or perhaps I am providing the multiparts in the wrong order. Order of parts in SMTP multipart messages

Hi, I'd like to know how to build an SMTP multipart message in the correct order so that it will render correctly on the iPhone mail client (rendering correctly in GMail). I'm using Javamail to build up an email containing the following parts: A body part with content type "text/html; UTF-8" An embedded image attachment. A file attachment I am sending the mail via GMail SMTP (via SSL) and the mail is sent and rendered correctly using a GMail account, however, the mail does not render correctly on the iPhone mail client. On the iPhone mail client, the image is rendered before the "Before Image" text when it should be rendered afterwards. After the "Before Image" text there is an icon with a question mark (I assume it means it couldn't find the referenced CID). I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the iPhone mail client or a bug in my mail sending code (I strongly assume the latter). I think that perhaps the headers on my parts might by incorrect or perhaps I am providing the multiparts in the wrong order. Soft keyboard "del" key fails in EditText on Gallery widget

Hi, I am developing an application in Eclipse build ID 20090920-1017 using android SDK 2.2 and testing on a Google Nexus One. For the purposes of the tests below I am using the IME "Android keyboard" on a non-rooted phone. I have an EditText widget which exhibits some very strange behavior. I can type text, and then press the "del" key to delete that text; but after I enter a 'space' character, the "del" key will no longer remove characters before that space character. An example speaks a thousand words, so consider the following two incredibly simple applications...
