  • Servicestack CorsFeature Global Options Handler Not Firing on Certain Routes;

    - by gizmoboy
    I've got a service setup using the CorsFeature, and am using the approach that mythz suggested in other answers, collected in a function used in the appHost file: private void ConfigureCors(Funq.Container container) { Plugins.Add(new CorsFeature(allowedOrigins: "*", allowedMethods: "GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, OPTIONS", allowedHeaders: "Content-Type, Authorization, Accept", allowCredentials: true)); PreRequestFilters.Add((httpReq, httpRes) => { //Handles Request and closes Responses after emitting global HTTP Headers if (httpReq.HttpMethod == "OPTIONS") { httpRes.EndRequest(); } }); } However, the pre-request filter is only firing on some of the service requests. One of the base entities we have in the service is a question entity, and there are custom routes defined as follows: [Route("/question")] [Route("/question/{ReviewQuestionId}", "GET,DELETE")] [Route("/question/{ReviewQuestionId}/{ReviewSectionId}", "GET")] Using POSTMAN to fire test queries (all using the OPTIONS verb), we can see that this will fire the pre-request filter: http://localhost/myservice/api/question/ But this will not: http://localhost/myservice/api/question/66 Presumably, this is because the second and third routes explicitly defined the verbs they accept, and OPTIONS isn't one of them. Is it really necessary to spell out OPTIONS in every defined route that restricts the verbs supported?

  • Double postback problem

    - by Juan Manuel Formoso
    Hi, I have a ASP.NET 1.1 application, and I'm trying to find out why when I change a ComboBox which value is used to fill another one (parent-child relation), two postbacks are produced. I have checked and checked the code, and I can't find the cause. Here are both call stacks which end in a page_load First postback (generated by teh ComboBox's autopostback) Second postback (this is what I want to find why it's happening) Any suggestion? What can I check?

  • How to make a nested query with an Entity that doesn't really exist (many-to-many)

    - by Calou
    Hi everyone, I'm new with Doctrine2 so my question can be easy to answer (I hope so). First of all, here the SQL query that I'd want : SELECT * FROM Document WHERE id NOT IN (SELECT document_id FROM Documents_Folders) Pretty simple isn't it ? The porblem is that my table 'Documents_Folders' is not an entity. In fact, it was create because I have a many-to-many relation between my entities 'Document' and 'Folder'. I tried several queries, but none worked. Thanks.

    - by Augusto Càzares
    I have my project in .NET that uses a db in MSSQL Server,i'm using LINQ , sometimes when the projec throws me an exception (Constraint) in a part of the project this same error keeps showing in other part of the project when i do another thing with the db, like when i do an insertion and i had before an exception on delete the insertion throws me the delete exeption, and it remainds this way until i close and open again the project, my major problem is when this happen in my online project, this error in my project causes me problems in the project i'm testing online (i use the same db). • Should I call class destructor in this code?

    - by peterg
    I am using this sample to decode/encode some data I am retrieving/sending from/to a web server, and I want to use it like this: BOOL HandleMessage(UINT uMsg,WPARAM wParam,LPARAM lParam,LRESULT* r) { if(uMsg == WM_DESTROY) { PostQuitMessage(0); return TRUE; } else if(uMsg == WM_CREATE) { // Start timer StartTimer(); return TRUE; } else if(uMsg == WM_TIMER) { //get data from server char * test = "test data"; Base64 base64; char *temp = base64.decode(test); MessageBox(TEXT(temp), 0, 0); } } The timer is set every 5 minutes. Should I use delete base64 at the end? Does delete deallocates everything used by base64?

  • How do I restrict foreign keys choices to related objects only in django

    - by Jeff Mc
    I have a two way foreign relation similar to the following class Parent(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=255) favoritechild = models.ForeignKey("Child", blank=True, null=True) class Child(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=255) myparent = models.ForeignKey(Parent) How do I restrict the choices for Parent.favoritechild to only children whose parent is itself? I tried class Parent(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=255) favoritechild = models.ForeignKey("Child", blank=True, null=True, limit_choices_to = {"myparent": "self"}) but that causes the admin interface to not list any children.

  • slow record deletion with large ntext values

    - by asking
    I'm having trouble deleting some records via a stored procedure from a table in SQLServer 2008R2 that has ntext columns. The stored proc is timing out and running the query directly takes a very long time. The initial query was a straight "delete from y where x = z" and I've also tried running it in batches of 1000 with transactions but it is still slow and timing out in a stored proc. The majority of the records in the table will not be deleted each time (it's not just a once-off query but will be run other times). The ntext columns are not used in the where clause and I can't change the column types. Any suggestions on the quickest way to delete records with large ntext values? Thanks

  • MySQL foreign key constraint disappearing

    - by Bramjam
    This is my table: /* oefenreeks leerplan */ CREATE TABLE leerplan_oefenreeks ( leerplan_oefenreeks_id INT PRIMARY KEY AUTO_INCREMENT NOT NULL, leerplan_id INT NOT NULL, oefenreeks_id INT NOT NULL, plaats INT NOT NULL ); /* fk */ ALTER TABLE leerplan_oefenreeks ADD CONSTRAINT fk_leerp_oefenr_leerplan FOREIGN KEY(leerplan_id) REFERENCES leerplan (leerplan_id) ON DELETE CASCADE; ALTER TABLE leerplan_oefenreeks ADD CONSTRAINT fk_leerp_oefenr_oefenreeks FOREIGN KEY(oefenreeks_id) REFERENCES oefenreeks (oefenreeks_id) ON DELETE CASCADE; /* when I execute the nexline, my fk_leerp_oefenr_leerplan constraint vanishes/disappears*/ ALTER TABLE leerplan_oefenreeks ADD CONSTRAINT un_leerp_oefenr UNIQUE(leerplan_id, oefenreeks_id); ALTER TABLE leerplan_oefenreeks ADD CONSTRAINT un_leerp_oefenr_plaats UNIQUE(leerplan_id, plaats); When I go and check only 3 constraints exist. fk_leerp_oefenr_leerplan disappears. I don't understand why this happens.

  • Does SQL Server 2005 error message numbers back to the asp.net application?

    - by Duke
    I'd like to get the message number and severity level information from SQL Server upon execution of an erroneous query. For example, when a user attempts to delete a row being referenced by another record, and the cascade relationship is "no action", I'd like the application to be able to check for error message 547 ("The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint...") and return a user friendly and localized message to the user. When running such a query directly on SQL Server, the following message is printed: Msg 547, Level 16, State 0, Line 1 <Error message...> In an Asp.Net app is this information available in an event handler parameter or elsewhere? Also, I don't suppose anyone knows where I can find a definitive reference of SQL Server message numbers?

  • Alternative for PHP mail

    In relation to an earlier question I'm looking for an alternative way to send an order from my website to the division in my company that processes the order. Currently I use PHP mail(), but frequently this gives problems. Big delays occur. Are there alternatives to PHP mail() that pushes the order to my company? So I prefer not to poll the website.

  • I want to display the missing (non-matching) records

    - by Eric
    Is there a way to program the following SQL query SELECT dbo.Assets_Master.Serial_Number, dbo.Assets_Master.Account_Ident, dbo.Assets_Master.Disposition_Ident FROM dbo.Assets_Master LEFT OUTER JOIN dbo.Assets ON dbo.Assets_Master.Serial_Number = dbo.Assets.Serial_Number WHERE (dbo.Assets.Serial_Number IS NULL) in c# .net code using dataviews or data relation or something else? I have a spreadsheet of about 4k rows and a data table that should have the same records but if not I want to display the missing (non-matching) records from the table. Thanks, Eric

  • basic operations for modifying a source document with XSLT

    - by SpliFF
    All the tutorials and examples I've found of XSLT processing seem to assume your destination will be a significantly different format/structure to your source and that you know the structure of the source in advance. I'm struggling with finding out how to perform simple "in-place" modifications to a HTML document without knowing anything else about its existing structure. Could somebody show me a clear example that, given an arbitrary unknown HTML source will: 1.) delete the classname 'foo' from all divs 2.) delete a node if its empty (ie <p></p>) 3.) delete a <p> node if its first child is <br> 4.) add newattr="newvalue" to all H1 5.) replace 'heading' in text nodes with 'title' 6.) wrap all <u> tags in <b> tags (ie, <u>foo</u> -> <b><u>foo</u></b>) 7.) output the transformed document without changing anything else The above examples are the primary types of transform I wish to accomplish. Understanding how to do the above will go a long way towards helping me build more complex transforms. To help clarify/test the examples here is a sample source and output, however I must reiterate that I want to work with arbitrary samples without rewriting the XSLT for each source: <!doctype html> <html> <body> <h1>heading</h1> <p></p> <p><br>line</p> <div class="foo bar"><u>baz</u></div> <p>untouched</p> </body> </html> output: <!doctype html> <html> <body> <h1 newattr="newvalue">title</h1> <div class="bar"><b><u>baz</u></b></div> <p>untouched</p> </body> </html>

  • Optimally reducing maximum flow

    - by ArIck
    Given a parameter k, I'm trying to delete k edges from a directed graph such that the maximum flow is reduced by as much as possible. The graph has a source s and a sink t, and the capacity of each edge is one. The graph may or may not contain cycles. My proposed solution would be to first perform a topological sorting on the graph, using an algorithm that "forgives" cycles -- perhaps by ignoring edges that lead us back to the source. Then (assuming k = 1): i = 0 for each vertex u order by topological(u) for each edge (u, v) order by topological(v) descending if topological(v) > topological(u) then delete (u, v) if ++i = k then return else // edge doesn't contribute to max flow, ignore Would this work, or am I totally off-track here?

  • Is there a way to use template specialization to separate new from new[]?

    - by Marlon
    I have an auto pointer class and in the constructor I am passing in a pointer. I want to be able to separate new from new[] in the constructor so that I can properly call delete or delete[] in the destructor. Can this be done through template specialization? I don't want to have to pass in a boolean in the constructor. template <typename T> class MyAutoPtr { public: MyAutoPtr(T* aPtr); }; // in use: MyAutoPtr<int> ptr(new int); MyAutoPtr<int> ptr2(new int[10]);

  • MPI difference between Communicator and Group

    - by iamrohitbanga
    I have read the definitions of these terms and my interpretation is that there is a one to one relation between a group and a communicator. A group is a set of processes which wish to communicate with each other and a communicator is an implementation for a group. Is this correct? Why have two different terms if this is so?

  • entity framework and dirty reads

    - by bryanjonker
    I have Entity Framework (.NET 4.0) going against SQL Server 2008. The database is (theoretically) getting updated during business hours -- delete, then insert, all through a transaction. Practically, it's not going to happen that often. But, I need to make sure I can always read data in the database. The application I'm writing will never do any types of writes to the data -- read-only. If I do a dirty read, I can always access the data; the worst that happens is I get old data (which is acceptable). However, can I tell Entity Framework to always use dirty reads? Are there performance or data integrity issues I need to worry about if I set up EF this way? Or should I take a step back and see about rewriting the process that's doing the delete/insert process?

  • Make Excel Defined Names within a worksheet to be global

    - by idazuwaika
    Hi, I wrote Powershell script to copy a worksheet from a workbook A to another workbook B. The worksheet contains define names for ranges within that sheet. Originally, the defined names are global in workbook A, ie. can be referenced from any worksheets within workbook A. But now, after copy to worksheet B, the defined names are limited to that worksheet only. How to I programmatically (via Powershell script preferably) make all those named range global i.e. can be referenced from all worksheets within workbook B. Some codes for clarity. #Script to update SOP from 5.1 to 5.2 $missing = [System.Type]::missing #Open files $excel = New-Object -Com Excel.Application $excel.Visible = $False $excel.DisplayAlerts = $False $newTemplate = "C:\WorkbookA.xls" $wbTemplate = $excel.Workbooks.Open($newTemplate) $oldSop = "C:\WorkbookB.xls" $wbOldSop = $excel.Workbooks.Open($oldSop) #Delete 'DATA' worksheet from old file $wsOldData = $wbOldSop.Worksheets.Item("DATA") $wsOldData.Delete() #Copy new 'DATA' worksheet to old file $wbTemplate.Worksheets.Item("DATA").Copy($missing,$wbOldSop.Worksheets.Item("STATUS")) #Save $wbOldSop.Save() $wbOldSop.Close() #Quit Excel $excel.Quit()

  • Where should i save my images that user uploads? java web application

    - by Nitesh Panchal
    Hello, I am saving the image at this location :- private static String photoGalleryPath = "/Common/PhotoGallery/"; In PhotoGallery. I create userid wise folders and save images. Everything works fine. But when i clean and build my project. The whole folder of PhotoGallery gets deleted. This looks very funny to me :). Why does it delete my whole folder everytime? And what more should i do to tell the extra smart Glassfish to not to delete my folders?
