    Just curious if the tab bar UI element in screenshots is some built in class or customized. If it is customized, then please give me a hint on what classes I might check to have something like that. The first screenshot is initial tab bar. When I tap on the last icon the tab bar smoothly(animated) resize itself as on second screenshot. If I press the edit button the icons are shaking(as on iPhone home) and I'm able to arrange them. first second

  • How to handle null return from custom HttpHandler in asp.net?

    I'm using a custom ashx HttpHandler to retrieve gif images from a database and show it on a website - when the image exists, it works great. However, there are cases when the image will not exist, and I'd like to have the html table holding the image to become invisible so the "image not found" icon is not shown. But since the HttpHandler is not synchronous, all my attempts checking for image size at Page_Load were frustrated. Any ideas on how this can be accomplished?

In this I want a folder for each month like "Jan10", "Feb10"....."Dec10" In each month folder I want to create folder for "Todays date" I have create a shortcut for that 2010 folder with Target as C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n, /e, /select, F:\2010 I want a functionality that will execute when I click the shortcut for f:\2010 icon. Any pointer would be great help.

    I was wondering is there a way to give the user a small guided tour of the app with small pops exactly above the UI elements indicating what it will do and not using the standard popups which iOS has. Something like if an icon is used to post status there should be a small pop up on top of it which tells us it is used to post status and can be closed a standard in in games to introduce the player to their UI.

    I want to style the :active state of a button that is represented by an . The tag has an inner (beacuse I want to add an icon to this button). I notice the :active state is triggered properly in everything but Internet Explorer. In IE, it appears that the area around the (the 's padding) triggers that :active state, but when clicking directly on the text within the , the :active state is not triggered. Is there a way to fix this without resorting to Javascript?

    I'm writing a Firefox addon that is triggered whenever a word is highlighted. However I need a script that detects when a word is highlighted, and I'm stuck. An example would be nytimes.com (when you're reading an article and you highlight a word, the reference icon pops up). However the nytimes.com script is super complex. I'm 16 and not much of a programmer, so that is definitely way out of my league.

    I have poured over every example that I can find and I have gone through the official documentation from google. All I am trying to do is create a toast notification from a button click on a widget. I can get the widget (and button) to appear but I can't get my intent to fire. I have seen several examples that show doing this different ways but I just can't get it to work. I haven't felt this helpless with coding in a long time and I'm starting to feel dumb.     I wants to create an extension where content script will send message to background page and then on browser action means clicking on extension icon will access that background page and get some data.I am using chrome Version 23.0.1271.64 m on windows8. I am getting following error. Port error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist. I tried to solve the same. but people are using sendRequest which is not supported by chrome20+. i also found solution mentioned for chrome 20+. But not working. Please help.
