• SharpSVN Example Program Crashes

  I downloaded the SharpSVN example they give to try and test it out but I get this error when I try and run it. System.BadImageFormatException {"Could not load file or assembly 'SharpSvn, Version=1.4999.376.29668, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=d729672594885a28' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format."} After I downloaded I went to load the project, did the requested conversion with no errors then just tried to run it. Haven't been able to find a solution online.

• Visual Studio 2008 skipping projects when building a solution

  Hi, I recently installed VS2008 in Win2k8R2 machine and opened a VS2005 project(C++). After successful conversion to VS2008, i tried building the project in Debug x64 mode. But the project is getting skipped. I tried Clean as well as Rebuild, and it is getting skipped for those as well. I'm able to build in Debug win32 mode. But i need to build in x64 mode. Also the Build option is ticked in Build-Configuration Manager under x64. I have installed the x64 bit compiler too. Also I'm not able to see the Project properties for x64. How can i solve this problem and build the project in VS 2008?

  I've loaded a WPF project initially created in Visual Studio 2008 into Visual Studio 2010. The conversion process goes smoothly, but on certain XAML files the VS2010 designer throws several errors related to project references, including this one: System.Reflection.Adds.UnresolvedAssemblyException Type universe cannot resolve assembly: GalaSoft.MvvmLight, Version=3.0.0.31869, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=3e875cdb3903c512. This assembly reference works just fine in the Expression Blend 4 designer, but not in VS2010. I can build and run the solution successfully. My solution targets the .Net Framework 3.5 SP1.

• Why won't OpenCV compile in NVCC?

  Hi there I am trying to integrate CUDA and openCV in a project. Problem is openCV won't compile when NVCC is used, while a normal c++ project compiles just fine. This seems odd to me, as I thought NVCC passed all host code to the c/c++ compiler, in this case the visual studio compiler. The errors I get are? c:\opencv2.0\include\opencv\cxoperations.hpp(1137): error: no operator "=" matches these operands operand types are: const cv::Range = cv::Range c:\opencv2.0\include\opencv\cxoperations.hpp(2469): error: more than one instance of overloaded function "std::abs" matches the argument list: function "abs(long double)" function "abs(float)" function "abs(double)" function "abs(long)" function "abs(int)" argument types are: (ptrdiff_t) So my question is why the difference considering the same compiler (should be) is being used and secondly how I could remedy this.

However I am recieving the following error message Server Error in '/' Application. Sequence contains no matching element Now, I've checked and the this.ProductOptions variable contains 3 results.   I have incoming messages that I need to try and parse in my own objects structure. SOme of these are well formed JSON obejcts and some are just nonsense. I use JsonConvert.DeserializeObject<MyObject>(incmoingString); to do this. This however sometimes gives me a exception when the incoming is total garbage. Other times I get a non-complete object structure when the incoming string is kind of OK - and finally it sometimes work. I've wrapped the conversion in a try/catch and than manually validate that I've gotten the properties I need to the deserialized result. Is there a better way to do this?

  I'm passing the Folder.Id.UniqueId property of a folder retrieved from a FindFolders query via the query string to another page. On this second page I want to use that UniqueId to bind to the folder to list its mail items: string parentFolderId = Request.QueryString["id"]; ... Folder parentFolder = Folder.Bind(exchangeService, parentFolderId); // do something with parent folder When I run this code it throws an exception telling me the Id is manlformed. I thought maybe it needs to be wrapped in a FolderId object: Folder parentFolder = Folder.Bind(exchangeService, new FolderId(parentFolderId)); Same issue. I've been searching for a while, and have found some suggestions about Base64/UTF8 conversion, but again that did not solve the problem. Anyone know how to bind to a folder with a given unique id?

  With a view model containing the field: public bool? IsDefault { get; set; } I get an error when trying to map in the view: <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(model => model.IsDefault) %> Cannot implicitly convert type 'bool?' to 'bool'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) I've tried casting, and using .Value and neither worked. Note the behaviour I would like is that submitting the form should set IsDefault in the model to true or false. A value of null simply means that the model has not been populated.

  I know, that the issue had been widely discussed before, but after 5 hours of inefficient googling I guess I deserve to ask :) By the way, all such problems concerned earlier versions of OpenCV, so.. I've compiled fresh OpenCV 2.1. from source under Ubuntu 9.10. It works fine except of cvCreateVideoWriter, which returns null to the following request: CvVideoWriter *writer = cvCreateVideoWriter("video.avi", CV_FOURCC('M','J','P','G'), fps, size, 0); I've walked through the OpenCv folders - it even seems to have ffmpeg inside. I've also installed it on the system to make sure. I've changed CV_FOURCC('M','J','P','G') to -1 - all worthless. I would appreciate your help soo much! P.S. I've also explored some new way for writing videos here: http://opencv.willowgarage.com/documentation/cpp/reading_and_writing_images_and_video.html#videowriter But it fails to work as well, showing the mistake: error: no match for ‘operator>>’ in ‘writer >> frame’ My code is here: http://pastie.org/984734

  I need to use VBA to filter some information in excel. As I have an excel with 20 columns, now want to use AutoFilter function to search in some columns if it contains one value (Ex: ID010). what i want is it'll display all rows that have at least one column contains ID010. Currently, i use the below code to search.   In sdkddkver.h of the Windows Platform SDK, there are various OS versions defined as NTDDI_*. I could make a massive switch statement, but that's not really as future-proof as I'd like it to be. I would need to update the conversion method every time a new OS or service pack is released. I have a feeling this could be done with the help of some bitwise operators, but I'll be honest and say that those aren't my strong point. I appreciate any help!

  Hello, I'm trying to do the below sql statement in GORM select * from table1 where table1.x not in (select x from table 2 where y='something'); so, I have two tables, and needs to find the entries from table 1 which are not in table 2. In Grails def xx= table2.findByY('something') def c = table1.createCriteria() def result= c.list { not ( in('x', xx) ) } the syntax is wrong, and I'm not sure how to simulate not in sql logic. As a learning point, if someone can also tell me why minus (-) operator in grails/groovy doesn't work with list. I tried getting x and y seperately, and doing x.minus(y), but it doesn't change the list. I saw an explanation at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1754576/groovy-on-grails-list-not-working , but I would expect the list defined are local. thank you so much.

• jQuery not loading on Master Page when the Content Page is in a child folder.

  I have a site where I am trying to implement a jQuery UI based MessageBox in my master page. Content pages are arranged accoring to business area folders, i.e. '~/Branding/Contracts.aspx'. I find that when I load such a content page, jQuery, which is referenced in the master page as below, does not load. I assume that this is because the browser is requesting 'Branding/Scripts/jQuery '. What can I do about this?   Hi, I've just started learning flex using OReilly "Programming Flex 3.0". After completing three chapters and starting fourth (ActionScript), and not having enough patience to wait till completing chapter 22 I started to practice :) One bit that I have most worries about right now is the the dual coding mode (MXML vs ActionScript) Please have a look at my code below (it compiles via mxmlc design.mxml, second file 'code.as' should be in same directory) and advise if the separation I used between visual design and code is appropriate. Also - if some smart guy could show me how to recode same example with *.as being a class file [package?] it would be highly appreciated. I got lost with creating directory structure for package - and did not find it most intuitive, especially for small project that has two files like my example. • Has anyone compiled PCRE for Windows x64 - if so, how?

  I'm trying to compile PCRE (v8.02) for Windows x64, using Vs2008. The "NON-UNIX-USE" file tells me to use cmake to generate a .sln fle. That works. When I run the build it succeeds, with 91 warnings. All appear to be size conversion warnings. Am I doing something wrong? Should I expect all these warnings? Has anyone else built PCRE for Windows x64, successfully, and without warnings?

I am doing something silly in the conversion. Can anybody help me out if they have already implemented APNS feedback service using PHP? TIA, -Anish

(rsProcessingAborted) Cannot read the next data row for the data set DS_GRID_DATA. (rsErrorReadingNextDataRow) Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value '1,2,3,4' to data type int. Basically I have defined Parameters!RP_cll_typ_l1 as multivalued into my subreport as per ssrs multivalued parameter passing method. The value is going on sub report as '1,2,3,4' (not understandable by data set) It should be like as '1’,’2’,’3’,’4' or 1,2,3,4 How can I resolve this please help if any have solution? • Convert byte array from Oracle RAW to System.Guid?

  My app interacts with both Oracle and SQL Server databases using a custom data access layer written in ADO.NET using DataReaders. Right now I'm having a problem with the conversion between GUIDs (which we use for primary keys) and the Oracle RAW datatype. Inserts into oracle are fine (I just use the ToByteArray() method on System.Guid). The problem is converting back to System.Guid when I load records from the database. Currently, I'm using the byte array I get from ADO.NET to pass into the constructor for System.Guid. This appears to be working, but the Guids that appear in the database do not correspond to the Guids I'm generating in this manner. I can't change the database schema or the query (since it's reused for SQL Server). I need code to convert the byte array from Oracle into the correct Guid.

• Facebook canvas Iframe App authentication problem.

  hi, I am in the conversion process of facebook app from fbml to iframe. Now i am testing using few iframe pages. $user = $facebook->require_login(); It gives the current user logged in. Once it get the variable from the facebook.com it saves in cookie by the PHP API provided by facebook). I logged out using another tab of facebook and i tryed using my app without refreshing the whole site (by just using the links inside my app). It still gives the $user variable. It indicates that user has logged in instead of user logged out. Please help me out. I want my app secured. It looks my iframe app accessible when we select "open this frame in new window". I need a solution for this too. Thanks in advance.
