  • jquery timout funcation not work properly

    - by 3gwebtrain
    HI, i ma using the settimeout function to display block and append to 'li', once the mouseover. and i just want to remove the block and make it none. in my funcation works fine. but problem is even just my mouse cross the li, it self the block getting visibile. how to avoid this? my code is: var thisLi; var storedTimeoutID; $("ul.redwood-user li,ul.user-list li").live("mouseover", function(){ thisLi = $(this); var needShow = thisLi.children('a.copier-link'); if($(needShow).is(':hidden')){ storedTimeoutID = setTimeout(function(){$(thisLi).children('a.copier-link').appendTo(thisLi).show();},3000); } else{ storedTimeoutID = setTimeout(function(){$(thisLi).siblings().children('a.copier-link').appendTo(thisLi).show();},3000); } }); $("ul.redwood-user li,ul.user-list li").live("mouseleave", function(){ clearTimeout(storedTimeoutID); //$('ul.redwood-user li').children('a.copier-link').hide(); $('ul.user-list li').children('a.copier-link').hide(); });

There are no other instructions on the readme on github... am I missing something? EDIT - Problem solved. after a good nights sleep I came back and realised I hadnt restarted the server. I hate it when that happens.

  • How do faces in .obj work?

    - by Adl
    Hi When parsing an .obj-file, with vertices and vertex-faces, it is easy to pass the vertices to the shader and the use glDrawElements using the vertex-faces. When parsing an .obj-file, with vertices and texture-coordinates, another type of face occur: texture-coordinate faces. When displaying textures, apart from loading images, binding them and passing texture coordinates into the parser, how to use the texture-coordinate faces? They differ from the vertex-faces and I suppose that the texture-coordinate faces have a purpose when displaying textures? Regards Niclas

  • Javascript does not work on IIS

    - by Cat Mitch
    I have a .NET library executing as part of our website that renders HTML to image formats. It uses the IE rendering engine, and will happily run any javascript if present to do the rendering. The problem is we just moved the code to a new server, and javascript seems to be disabled. I tried changing (briefly the Application Pools Process Model Identity from NetworkService to LocalSystem, and that worked fine. Hence it must be a permissions problem. So my questions are this: 1) What is the specific permission I need to set to allow the IE rendering engine to execute javascript, inside the IIS application pool? 2) What is the best way to enable that in my application pool? Do I just somehow set it in NetworkService, or create a new identify (how is that done?) Thanks!

  • Using PLINQ to calculate and update values within the enclosure does not work

    - by Keith
    I recently needed to do a running total on a report. Where for each group, I order the rows and then calculate the running total based on the previous rows within the group. Aha! I thought, a perfect use case for PLINQ! However, when I wrote up the code, I got some strange behavior. The values I was modifying showed as being modified when stepping through the debugger, but when they were accessed they were always zero. Sample Code: class Item { public int PortfolioID; public int TAAccountID; public DateTime TradeDate; public decimal Shares; public decimal RunningTotal; } List<Item> itemList = new List<Item> { new Item { PortfolioID = 1, TAAccountID = 1, TradeDate = new DateTime(2010, 5, 1), Shares = 5.335m, }, new Item { PortfolioID = 1, TAAccountID = 1, TradeDate = new DateTime(2010, 5, 2), Shares = -2.335m, }, new Item { PortfolioID = 2, TAAccountID = 1, TradeDate = new DateTime(2010, 5, 1), Shares = 7.335m, }, new Item { PortfolioID = 2, TAAccountID = 1, TradeDate = new DateTime(2010, 5, 2), Shares = -3.335m, }, }; var found = (from i in itemList where i.TAAccountID == 1 select new Item { TAAccountID = i.TAAccountID, PortfolioID = i.PortfolioID, Shares = i.Shares, TradeDate = i.TradeDate, RunningTotal = 0 }); found.AsParallel().ForAll(x => { var prevItems = found.Where(i => i.PortfolioID == x.PortfolioID && i.TAAccountID == x.TAAccountID && i.TradeDate <= x.TradeDate); x.RunningTotal = prevItems.Sum(s => s.Shares); }); foreach (Item i in found) { Console.WriteLine("Running total: {0}", i.RunningTotal); } Console.ReadLine(); If I change the select for found to be .ToArray(), then it works fine and I get calculated reuslts. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

  • How does the NSAutoreleasePool autorelease pool work?

    - by jsumners
    As I understand it, anything created with an alloc, new, or copy needs to be manually released. For example: int main(void) { NSString *string; string = [[NSString alloc] init]; /* use the string */ [string release]; } My question, though, is wouldn't this be just as valid?: int main(void) { NSAutoreleasePool *pool; pool = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; NSString *string; string = [[[NSString alloc] init] autorelease]; /* use the string */ [pool drain]; }

  • javascript .push() doesn't seem to work

  • How does the PHP IteratorIterator class work?

    - by WilliamMartin
    Try as I might I cannot get my head around what the IteratorIterator class actually does. I understand that classes can implement Traversable so the engine knows it can loop using foreach and I realise that IteratorIterator is supposed to convert anything that is Traversable into an Iterator but I cannot for the life of me understand how. Take for example, the PDOStatement class; how would the standard Iterator methods (next, key, rewind, etc) be implemented to allow iteration over a PDOStatement? Sorry if my question is unclear, I am just struggling to grasp the exact reason for this class and the documentation on it is scant. Thanks, Will Update: Going through the phpt files, I found one test which uses IteratorIterator: <?php $root = simplexml_load_string('<?xml version="1.0"?> <root> <child>Hello</child> <child>World</child> </root> '); foreach (new IteratorIterator($root->child) as $child) { echo $child."\n"; } ?> The expected output is: Hello World I don't really follow how the IteratorIterator construct takes $root-child as an argument and how it manages to iterate over the child elements.

  • work benefits package [closed]

    - by Francisco Garcia
    For those of you who are into programming not just for the money. I would like to know which benefits you would like to have (or already have). OK, maybe taking away the money factor will limit this question too much. I am surprised to see that most companies have a fixed set for their benefits package. Were you able to negotiate something new or just your salary? What things have you seen out there and/or value most?

  • java - powermock whenNew doesnt seem to work, calls the actual constructor

    - by user1331243
    I have two final classes that are used in my unit test. I am trying to use whenNew on the constructor of a final class, but I see that it calls the actual constructor. The code is @PrepareForTest({A.class, B.class, Provider.class}) @Test public void testGetStatus() throws Exception { B b = mock(B.class); when(b.getStatus()).thenReturn(1); whenNew(B.class).withArguments(anyString()).thenReturn(b); Provider p = new Provider(); int val = p.getStatus(); assertTrue((val == 1)); } public class Provider { public int getStatus() { B b = new B("test"); return b.getStatus(); } } public final class A { private void init() { // ...do soemthing } private static A a; private A() { } public static A getInstance() { if (a == null) { a = new A(); a.init(); } return a; } } public final class B { public B() { } public B(String s) { this(A.getInstance(), s); } public B(A a, String s) { } public int getStatus() { return 0; } } On debug, I find that its the actual class B instance created and not the mock instance that is returned for new usage and assertion fails. Any pointers on how to get this working. Thanks

  • geom_ribbon doesn't work - Error in eval(expr, envir, enclos) : object 'variable' not found

This is a reproducible example of data drame I have: base <- c(1:10, rep(NA, 10)) output1 <- c(rep(NA, 9), 10 - 0:10) output2 <- c(rep(NA, 9), 10 + 0:10) xaxis <- 1:20 df <- data.frame(xaxis, base, output1, output2) df xaxis base output1 output2 1 1 1 NA NA 2 2 2 NA NA 3 3 3 NA NA 4 4 4 NA NA 5 5 5 NA NA 6 6 6 NA NA 7 7 7 NA NA 8 8 8 NA NA 9 9 9 NA NA 10 10 10 10 10 11 11 NA 9 11 12 12 NA 8 12 13 13 NA 7 13 14 14 NA 6 14 15 15 NA 5 15 16 16 NA 4 16 17 17 NA 3 17 18 18 NA 2 18 19 19 NA 1 19 20 20 NA 0 20 And my attempt to plot a ggplot2 object with a geom_ribbon: dfm <- melt(df, id=1) ggplot(dfm, aes(x = xaxis, y = value, colour = variable)) + geom_line(aes(group=variable)) + geom_ribbon(data=df, aes(group = 1, ymin=output1, ymax=output2)) And, eventually, I got an error I cannot deal with: Error in eval(expr, envir, enclos) : object 'variable' not found Thank ypu in advance for any suggestions.

  • Getting "longnamesfirst" option to work with natbib in LaTeX - custom .bst

    - by jkale
    Hey all, I'm writing an MSc dissertation and I'm having difficulty getting the longnamesfirst option working in natbib. My University has a very specific referencing style a little like APA, but not quite the same. I've used the docstrip utility to build a basic framework and then edited it to fit the requirements of my University. Having tested it with the simplest possible document; applying my bst then trying it again with one of the defaults (\bibliographystyle{apacite}) I can see than natbib works as intended with apacite. It doesn't however produce correct results with my bst. So my question: How does the .bst file link with natbib to enforce the "longnamesfirst" option?

  • JQuery Hover does not work Mozilla

    - by josephj1989
    I have the following Snippet of code.The hover has a problem in Mozilla - It changes color on hover but some times it does not revert back when we go out.Mind you it only happens sometimes.Also in such cases if I examine the HTML using FireBug I can see that the Extra Class is assigned even after hover is out.It works OK on IE .This is a simplified version Also as you can see I am setting color on the TR.But this does not change the Color on TextBoxes inside TR. How can I make sure the background color of the Controls contained in the TR is also changed on hover. <style type="text/css"> .HighLight { background-color:Fuchsia; } .Select { border:soild 2px Blue; margin:3px; } </style> <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-1.4.2.js"> </script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(function() { $(".Select").hover( function() { $(this).addClass("HighLight"); }, function() { $(this).removeClass("HighLight"); }); }); My Markup generated by ASP.NET Repeater Control is a table with TR assigned Class Select. <tr class="Select" > <td> <input type="checkbox" id="chkSelect" /> </td> <td> <input name="Repeater1$ctl11$tb" type="text" value="Sharp Bikes" id="Repeater1_ctl11_tb" /> </td> <td> <input name="Repeater1$ctl11$tb2" type="text" value="10/13/2004 11:15:07 AM" id="Repeater1_ctl11_tb2" /> </td> </tr>

  • In Ruby, how does coerce() actually work?

    - by Jian Lin
    It is said that when we have a class Point and knows how to perform point * 3 like the following: class Point def initialize(x,y) @x, @y = x, y end def *(c) Point.new(@x * c, @y * c) end end point = Point.new(1,2) p point p point * 3 Output: #<Point:0x336094 @x=1, @y=2> #<Point:0x335fa4 @x=3, @y=6> but then, 3 * point is not understood: Point can't be coerced into Fixnum (TypeError) So we need to further define an instance method coerce: class Point def coerce(something) [self, something] end end p 3 * point Output: #<Point:0x3c45a88 @x=3, @y=6> So it is said that 3 * point is the same as 3.*(point) that is, the instance method * takes an argument point and invoke on the object 3. Now, since this method * doesn't know how to multiply a point, so point.coerce(3) will be called, and get back an array: [point, 3] and then * is once again applied to it, is that true? point * 3 which is the same as point.*(3) and now, this is understood and we now have a new Point object, as performed by the instance method * of the Point class. The question is: 1) who invokes point.coerce(3) ? Is it Ruby automatically, or is it some code inside of * method of Fixnum by catching an exception? Or is it by case statement that when it doesn't know one of the known types, then call coerce? 2) Does coerce always need to return an array of 2 elements? Can it be no array? Or can it be an array of 3 elements? 3) And is the rule that, the original operator (or method) * will then be invoked on element 0, with the argument of element 1? (element 0 and element 1 are the two elements in that array returned by coerce) Who does it? Is it done by Ruby or is it done by code in Fixnum? If it is done by code in Fixnum, then it is a "convention" that everybody follows when doing a coerce? So could it be the code in * of Fixnum do something like this: if (something.typeof? ...) else if ... # other type else if ... # other type else # if it is not a type I know array = something.coerce(self) return array[0].*(array[1]) end

  • Making ofHideReadOnly work with UseLatestCommonDialogs

    - by Jan Goyvaerts
    In Delphi 2007 and later, the global variable UseLatestCommonDialogs causes TOpenDialog to use the new Vista-style dialog on Windows Vista and 7. That's cool. Unfortunately, the Vista-style dialog does not seem to support the ofHideReadOnly option of TOpenDialog. The read-only checkbox never appears regardless whether this option is set to True or False. How can I make TOpenDialog show a read-only checkbox on the Vista-style dialog? TOpenTextFileDialog adds a combo box to the dialog regardless of whether it's Vista-style or not. It should be possible to add a read-only checkbox in the same way, but I can't figure out how to do it, even when looking at the source for TOpenTextFileDialog.

  • Get Janrain to work with Sproutcore?

    - by weng
    Since Sproutcore is not dependent on the backend server to render pages, I'm struggling on how to get it working with Janrain. In one of the login processes of Janrain a HTTP request is sent to a backend server that processes the information and render a logged in page to the user. Since I'm using Sproutcore and don't have a backend server but using CouchDB to serve Sproutcore I wonder how I am going to implement Janrain successfully. Even if I'm using a backend server like Node.js I'm still not sure how to implement Janrain. Has anyone implemented Janrain in a Sproutcore app?
