I want to merge 5 "sublayers" to one single texture (you know, somethin' like Flatten Image in Photoshop) in OpenGL ES 1.x iPhone. I'm new to OpenGL, and just haven't find the answer yet.

We need to deploy Visual C++ library. We have tried deploy this libraries using Merge Modules, but uninstall became too slow (about 10-20 minutes). So we've decided to deploy this libraries using XCopy method. Does anybody know any troubles with deploying Visual C++ library using XCopy?

I'm trying to figure out how to get only the last two files within a folder, so that I can merge them together using c#. The files are csv files and I've looked at File.CreationTime, but don't know exactly how to compare on it, so that I'm working only with the last two files.
How can I do this?
I am trying to update all of my Textmate bundles to the most current version. Is there a way to do this without doing each bundle individually? If not how do I update an individual bundle? I don't know how to use svn so I would prefer to use the git repository.
Thanks for helping a noob! :)
I've been searching the internet a lot for UML modeling tools that support version control systems, like svn, but I haven't found anything about it. Does anyone know a good uml modeling tool, preferrably free, with version control support?
Hello,
I'm using Visual Studio 2008 Express and I would like Visual Studio (or perhaps an Add-in) to save my whole project to some sort of auto-incrementing archive or whatever would help me recover from disasters. I don't have much need for SVN or complex versioning systems.
I'm just looking for something simple and lean.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Jenny
PS : I looked into the built-in AutoRecover feature but it doesn't seem to save more than a few files.
Hey Everyone,
I'm an employee at a small company that is going to be launching a version control system soon and I'm trying to consider which software would best serve this company for version control. I wanted to get as many opinions as possible. Right now, I'm experimenting with Trac and Indefero running atop a SVN server.
So my question is, what is the most popular/favorite version control software and why?
??t??!
I want to know why we always use Sorting algorithm like (Insertion Sort or Merge Sort,...) just for lists and arrays? And why we do not use these algorithms for stack or queue?
How do projects like BrowserCMS for Rails implement version control for a CMS? What is best practice for version control with database content? How does it relate to git/svn?
Hi,
I write a little ruby script, which sends me an email when a new commit added to our svn.
I get the log with this code:
log = `/usr/bin/svnlook log #{ARGV[0]}`
When I run my script from bash I get good encoded character in the email, but when I try it and create a new commit I get wrong hungarian characters.
I commited this:
tes
oéá
I get this in the email:
Log: tes
?\197?\145?\195?\169?\195?\161
How can I solve this issue?
Do you use many version control software (TortoiseSVN, Bazaar Explorer, smartgit etc)?
One software that supports all version control systems (cvs, svn, bzr, git etc)? Which?
Do you keep converting between them (I imagine me converting gif - jpg - gif - jpg...)?
I know how to generate html documentation using Sandcastle and similar tools. But if I want to host the project on Google code, how can I easily publish the documentation straight into the Google project Wiki pages?
I can see the SVN repository has a wiki folder which I assume maps to the project Wiki pages and I guess I can make a build step to build the documentation from the autodoc tags. But is there some tool that generates wiki compatible format from the code documentation tags?
Is there a way to run a loop through a folder and process like 30 files for a month and give the average, max of each columns and write in one excel sheet or so??
I have 30 files of size [43200 x 30]
I ran a different matlab scrip to generate them so the names are easy
File_2010_04_01.xls , File_2010_04_02.xls ..... and so on
I cannot merge them as each are 20mbs and matlab would crash.
Any ideas?
Thanks
With the latest changes to the developer agreement by Apple, how inherant is the risk of using any kind of framework to develop Apps for devices now? Should shops risk using things like MonoTouch, Three20, Appcelerator since this change?
How are some iPhone/iPad developers here handling it?

http://maven.apache.org/settings.html As per documentation the user specific settings can be either copied to the .m2 folder or under the maven installation. If a developer changes a machine or gets a new user id, such properties have to be copied manually to these newer machines.
Would it be possible to store user specific setting information in the repository itself (say SVN) and somehow have the mvn scripts load it on startup.
I have a team developing software in MS Visual Studio and now they want to start using MS Team Foundation Server, mainly for versioning and maybe patch and bug tracking.
They don't have any experience with MS Team Foundation Server, but they are very enthusiastic with MS products.
So whats the best free open source alternative solution? Git, SVN, CVS, Bugzilla, plugins, etc.
Hi,
It is probably pretty simple but I cannot figure it out: Say I have tables A and B both with the same columns. I need to do SELECT * FROM A,B without having results merged into one row.
I.e. when each table has 2 rows, I need the result to have 4 rows.
EDIT: I know about JOIN but dont know how to join the tables without predicate. I need merge them.
Thanks
i would like to ask about some Notepad++ feature that i couldn't find in netbeans. And this feature is somehow really helpful. It's called 'function list' created by Jens Lorenz.
this feature will list all of declared function in a PHP files. So, is there any subtitute plugin that i can use to smooth my migration from Notepad++ to Netbeans ?
the main reason i switch is for svn, Phpdoc-support, and easiness maintaining medium-size web project.
Right now i have a PHP project and i track all changes in code by SVN.
I would also like to track changes made in database structure.
Which is the right tool to use ?
Is it possible to merge these two mysql queries into one? I want to get NOW() returned to a php variable.
mysql_query('INSERT INTO translate (IDRef, RefType, Lang, Text, LastChangeTS) VALUES ('.$id.', \''.$reftype.'\', \''.$lang.'\', \''.$text.'\', NOW()) ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE text = \''.$text.'\', LastChangeTS = NOW()');
mysql_query('SELECT LastChangeTS FROM translate WHERE IDRef = '.$id.' AND RefType = \''.$reftype.'\' AND Lang = \''.$lang.'\'');
There are a lot of libs to work with mp3 tags, but I need just 2 functions - split mp3 file in 2 parts and the second one to merge 5 mp3.
Can you suggest anything?
Thanks!
