• Spring MVC -> Wicket Integration

  Hey everyone, I'm working on porting part of an existing Spring MVC application over to Wicket. I used the wicket-spring library to get the initial integration working, but now I'm stuck with the best way to integrate my Spring Security implementation. • How can I parse through a texutre in DirectX? (IDirect3DTexture9*)

  I've been trying to figure out how to parse textures in directx for two reasons: to write my own texture format and to manipulate data in existing IDirect3DTexture9 type textures. I've been looking at the IDirect3DTexture9::LockRect() function but I'm unsure how it works, are the void* pBits I get out of it in D3DLOCKED_RECT the data in the texture? Does that mean I can read it in by converting it to D3DXCOLOR or something? Really not sure where to go, any help would be appreciated!

  I have a PHP array of strings: ie: "Big green car parked outside"..etc I would like to perform boolean search operations on these strings, similar to MySQL fulltext searching , or Sphinx Searching. For example, I would like to find all strings containing word "green" but not "car" Does anyone know of any existing PHP classes or libraries which would help me accomplish this ? Or can anyone suggest any google terms I could search for ? Thank you in advance!

• MainMenu with Images

  I have a MainMenu in my app and I would like to have little icons relevant to the Item in each menu. But the MainMenu control does not support this. I would use the MenuStrip control, though that is a pretty ugly option in my opinion. Does anybody have any suggestions? Are there any free/open source alt's out there, or would it be easy/possible to implement that feature into the existing MainMenu control?

I guess that if I lock a file in a tomcat web application I can't be sure that every call to this application is done by a different JVM, can I? So how can I lock files within my tomcat application in a reliable way?

• Function that converts hex color values to an approximate color name?

  I don't suppose anyone knows of a function (PHP, preferably) that can take a hex color code and give an approximate color name for that hex value. I don't need a solution with 100s of colors. Even if it just amounted to the colors white, black, red, green blue, brown orange and yellow, I'd be pretty well in shape.   I'm having a heck of a time trying to get a silverlight datagrid to properly sort, and do so quickly (sub 1/10 second). Here's the scenario: -WCF callback every 1/5 of a second -Take the callback, match up to the existing record in an ObservableCollection -Update the ObservableCollection's properties -Bind the grid. I've tried a linq query, PagedCollectionView, and observablecollection.select(), all are waaaaaaay too slow, and introduce 12+ second delays in processing. Anyone else experience this?

• How can I debug expect_before behaviour

  I am relatively new to TCL / expect and mostly modifying existing code. expect_before doesn't seem to do what I expect (which is fine) but I can't work out how to debug it. I have used -d option and am now using exp_internal -f "argh.log" 1 to create a log file, but it isn't helping me. expect_before -info seems useful, but I am not able to grab / display the output (I did say I was new to TCL)
