  • Display processing page then redirect when complete

    - by user285379
    I have a script that takes a while. I'd like to display a page during the processing of the script then redirect when the process is complete. E.g.: form.php - processing.php - display_result.php I would like that processing.php is displayed immediately after form is submitted showing (Processing your information, please wait...) Once processing is complete the page should be redirected to display_result.php Is there anyway to sort of flush the content to the browser before processing begins, then redirect when the process is complete?

  • Auto populate input based on file name with AngularJS

    - by LouieV
    I am playing around with AngularJS and have not been able to solve this problem. I have a view that has a form to upload a file to a node server. So far I have manage to do this using some directives and a service. I allow the user to send a custom name to the POST data if they desire. What I wan to accomplish is that when the user selects a file the filename models auto populates. My view looks like: <div> <input file-model="phpFile" type="file"> <input name="filename" type="text" ng-model="filename"> <button ng-click="send()">send</button> </div> file-model is my directive that allows the file to be assigned to a scope. myApp.directive('fileModel', ['$parse', function($parse) { return { restrict: 'A', link: function(scope, element, attrs) { var model = $parse.(attrs.fileModel); var modelSetter = model.assign; element.bind('change', function() { scope.$apply(function() { modelSetter(scope, element[0].files[0]); }); }); } }]); The service: myApp.service('fileUpload', ['$http', function($http){ this.uploadFileToUrl = function(file, uploadUrl, optionals) { var fd = new FormData(); fd.append('file', file); for (var key in file) { fd.append(key, file[key]); } for(var i = 0; i < optionals.length; i++){ fd.append(optionals[i].name, optionals[i].data); } }); }]); Here as you can see I pass the file, append its properties, and append any optional properties. In the controller is where I am having the troubles. I have tried $watch and using the file-model but I get the same error either way. myApp.controller('AddCtrl', function($scope, $location, PEberry, fileUpload){ //$scope.$watch(function() { // return $scope.phpFile; //},function(newValue, oldValue) { // $scope.filename = $scope.phpFile.name; //}, true); // if ($scope.phpFiles) { // $scope.filename = $scope.phpFiles.name; // } $scope.send = function() { var uploadUrl = "/files"; var file = $scope.phpFile; //var opts = [{ name: "uname", data: file.name }] fileUpload.uploadFileToUrl(file, uploadUrl); }; }); Thank you for your help!

  • how to disable web page cache throughout the servlets

    - by Kurt
    To no-cache web page, in the java controller servlet, I did somthing like this in a method: public ModelAndView home(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws Exception { ModelAndView mav = new ModelAndView(ViewConstants.MV_MAIN_HOME); mav.addObject("testing", "Test this string"); mav.addObject(request); response.setHeader("Cache-Control", "no-cache, no-store"); response.setHeader("Pragma", "no-cache"); response.setDateHeader("Expires", 0); return mav; } But this only works for a particular response object. I have many similar methods in a servlet. And I have many servlets too. If I want to disable cache throughout the application, what should I do? (I do not want to add above code for every single response object) Thanks in advance.

  • Recursive XSLT, part 2

    - by Eric
    Ok, following on from my question here. Lets say my pages are now like this: A.xml: <page> <header>Page A</header> <content-a>Random content for page A</content-a> <content-b>More of page A's content</content-b> <content-c>More of page A's content</content-c> <!-- This doesn't keep going: there are a predefined number of sections --> </page> B.xml: <page include="A.xml"> <header>Page B</header> <content-a>Random content for page B</content-a> <content-b>More of page B's content</content-b> <content-c>More of page B's content</content-c> </page> C.xml: <page include="B.xml"> <header>Page C</header> <content-a>Random content for page C</content-a> <content-b>More of page C's content</content-b> <content-c>More of page C's content</content-c> </page> After the transform (on C.xml), I'd like to end up with this: <h1>Page C</h1> <div> <p>Random content for page C</p> <p>Random content for page B</p> <p>Random content for page A</p> </div> <div> <p>More of page C's content</p> <p>More of page B's content</p> <p>More of page A's content</p> </div> <div> <p>Yet more of page C's content</p> <p>Yet more of page B's content</p> <p>Yet more of page A's content</p> </div> I know that I can use document(@include) to include another document. However, the recursion is a bit beyond me. How would I go about writing such a transform?

  • Simple HTTP Framework and time issue

    - by Deniz Acay
    I'm using Simple Framework for my recent project, and there is a problem with the date headers generated by the system. I can get my local time from Date class correctly, but setDate method of Simple's Response class sets date in milliseconds and when i do that by calling System.currentTimeInMillis, dates in response headers are incorrect. is there any way to solve this problem with Simple Framework? If not, what can i do except calling set method with a date string? Thanks in advance... EDIT: Date in the headers are in wrong timezone. And i also tried Calendar.getInstance().getTimeInMilis() method.

  • Getting rid of the Expires node (xml) in the WS security header

    From the snippet below, how do i get rid of the (xml node) <wsu:Expires> tag? I want to either get rid of it or pass it in as a empty element. It is a read only property in objClient.RequestSoapContext.Security.Timestamp.Expires. • Cache Auth Tokens (or Caching HTTP headers in General) - Best Practices

    - by viatropos
    I'm using the Ruby GData Library to access Google Docs and I recently got the GData::Client::CaptchaError because I was re-logging in with every request. Reading this post, it recommends not logging in with every request, but caching the authentication token. How do I go about doing that correctly? Google says it expires every 24 hours, and it doesn't seem like I should store it in the session, so what should I do? I'm using Ruby on Rails with all this. Thanks so much

  • HTTP authentication logout via PHP

    - by Josef Sábl
    What is the correct way to log out of HTTP authentication protected folder? There are workarounds that can achieve this, but they are potentially dangerous because they can be buggy or don't work in certain situations / browsers. That is why I am looking for correct and clean solution.

  • How can I write an XSLT that will recursively include other files?

    - by Eric
    Let's say I have a series of xml files in this format: A.xml: <page> <header>Page A</header> <content>blAh blAh blAh</content> </page> B.xml: <page also-include="A.xml"> <header>Page B</header> <content>Blah Blah Blah</content> </page> Using this XSLT: <xsl:stylesheet version="2.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:template match="/page"> <h1> <xsl:value-of select="header" /> </h1> <p> <xsl:value-of select="content" /> </p> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> I can turn A.xml into this: <h1> Page A </h1> <p> blAh blAh blAh </p> But how would I make it also turn B.xml into this? <h1> Page B </h1> <p> Blah Blah Blah </p> <p> blAh blAh blAh </p> I know that I need to use document(concat(@also-include,'.xml')) somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Oh, and the catch is, I need this to still work if B were to be included in a third file, C.xml. Any idea as to how to do this?

  • C++: ifstream::getline problem

    - by Jay
    I am reading a file like this: char string[256]; std::ifstream file( "file.txt" ); // open the level file. if ( ! file ) // check if the file loaded fine. { // error } while ( file.getline( string, 256, ' ' ) ) { // handle input } Just for testing purposes, my file is just one line, with a space at the end: 12345 My code first reads the 12345 successfully. But then instead of the loop ending, it reads another string, which seems to be a return/newline. I have saved my file both in gedit and in nano. And I have also outputted it with the Linux cat command, and there is no return on the end. So the file should be fine. Why is my code reading a return/newline? Thanks.

  • Encoding MP3 and adding VBR or Xing headers (with lame or another method)

    - by J. Pablo Fernández
    I'm writing a program that converts wavs to mp3s, so far, by using lame. It's generating a command line more or less like this: "c:\Program Files (x86)\Lame for Audacity\lame.exe" --preset fast medium in.wav out.mp3 The problem I'm having is that no VBR or Xing headers are written to the MP3. How can I make lame.exe write those headers? Should I use another program to write those headers (platform is Windows, .Net 3.5)? Should I use another program for MP3 encoding?

  • How do I define a template class and divide it into multiple files?

    - by hkBattousai
    I have written a simple template class for test purpose. It compiles without any errors, but when I try to use it in main(), it give some linker errors. main.cpp #include <iostream> #include "MyNumber.h" int wmain(int argc, wchar_t * argv[]) { MyNumber<float> num; num.SetValue(3.14); std::cout << "My number is " << num.GetValue() << "." << std::endl; system("pause"); return 0; } MyNumber.h #pragma once template <class T> class MyNumber { public: MyNumber(); ~MyNumber(); void SetValue(T val); T GetValue(); private: T m_Number; }; MyNumber.cpp #include "MyNumber.h" template <class T> MyNumber<T>::MyNumber() { m_Number = static_cast<T>(0); } template <class T> MyNumber<T>::~MyNumber() { } template <class T> void MyNumber<T>::SetValue(T val) { m_Number = val; } template <class T> T MyNumber<T>::GetValue() { return m_Number; } When I build this code, I get the following linker errors: Error 7 Console Demo C:\Development\IDE\Visual Studio 2010\SAVE\Grand Solution\X64\Debug\Console Demo.exe 1 error LNK1120: 4 unresolved externals Error 3 Console Demo C:\Development\IDE\Visual Studio 2010\SAVE\Grand Solution\Console Demo\main.obj error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "public: __cdecl MyNumber::~MyNumber(void)" (??1?$MyNumber@M@@QEAA@XZ) referenced in function wmain Error 6 Console Demo C:\Development\IDE\Visual Studio 2010\SAVE\Grand Solution\Console Demo\main.obj error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "public: __cdecl MyNumber::MyNumber(void)" (??0?$MyNumber@M@@QEAA@XZ) referenced in function wmain Error 4 Console Demo C:\Development\IDE\Visual Studio 2010\SAVE\Grand Solution\Console Demo\main.obj error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "public: float __cdecl MyNumber::GetValue(void)" (?GetValue@?$MyNumber@M@@QEAAMXZ) referenced in function wmain Error 5 Console Demo C:\Development\IDE\Visual Studio 2010\SAVE\Grand Solution\Console Demo\main.obj error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "public: void __cdecl MyNumber::SetValue(float)" (?SetValue@?$MyNumber@M@@QEAAXM@Z) referenced in function wmain But, if I leave main() empty, I don't get any linker errors.   • why do i see THROW in a C library

    - by Bhagya
    When I do: less /usr/include/stdio.h (which is only a C library - nothing to do with C++) I see __THROW after quite a few function declarations. Also, comments above a few functions say that 'This function is a possible cancellation point and therefore not marked with __THROW' What is all this for? THROW is meant to be for exception handling.. but as far as I know, C doesn't provide any support for it... Plz explain.

  • Reportviewer - Print report - matrix report expanding horizontally to multiple pages, avoid repeating row header

    - by abc0077
    I am generating a matrix report dynamically using report viewer version 9.0 in visual studio 2010. If i export save and print then it works normally. If there more columns report expands horizontally across mutiple pages. If i give Print option available in the toolbar of the report viewer. The columns are moved to second page which is correct but the row headers (product 1, product 2) should not be repeated in the second page.In the second page report should have all details except the product information. I am also interested to know whether it is the functionality of this version report viewer.
