  • WAS Server - Apache critical problem

    hi, I am facing critical problem for integration of WAS Server-Apache Server.I am using the WAS server for the connection pooling for the database calling...and my webpage is hosted in the apache server and the webpage serarch box is calling the WAS Server and i am using struts frame work for autocomplete action... but it is working in IE of all versions.. but it is not working any browser... the JS file HTTPsuggestions are going to the structs frame work... but the response is is giving as null even i am giving the xmlHttpGetSuggestions.status =200 || xmlHttpGetSuggestions.status =0 but i am not getting the autocomplete feature. can you please help to slove this problem.....     I use rails 3.2.2 and autocomplete, I m selecting customer by name and formating it in a following way format.json { render :json = @customers.map{ |c| "#{c.name}:#{c.phone1}:#{c.email}" } } so, i need to parse json properly an display in a way i want for example I want write name in but make phone smaller and bold ,display it in different color.   • script.aculo.us autocomplete stuck behind input elements

    I've got several script.aculo.us Ajax.Autocomplete controls on a page and when the drop down div is rendered it's always stuck behind the other text boxes on the page, no matter what I do with zIndex and positioning. The problem occurs in IE and FF. Anyone else run into this? Am I missing something, or is this just life with this control?

    Is there a way to make emacs pull autocompletions of ruby methods the way Eclipse and NetBeans do? That is if I type File. and press CTRL-space in Eclipse I will get a list of File methods. Same with variables. I have installed autocomplete plugin, ruby-mode, rinari and cedet, but so far it will complete local variable and method names, but will not native ones.

  • clearTimeout not working in javascript autocomplete script

    I am using the following code as part of an autocomplete script to avoid hammering the server with every keystroke: var that = this; textInput.bind("keyup", function() { clearTimeout(that.timer); that.timer = setTimeout (that.doStuff(), 2000); }); Unfortunately, this does not clear the old timers. They still all execute. Does anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks!

When I use netbeans. I do nothing, but the autocomplete function works well.

My question is can I get the same functioanlity in .NET somewhere without a control. In other words I want something like string[] ProgressivePartialMatch( string[] Strings, string MatchText ) and so I want the strings back that would have showed up in the auto complete so to speak

    Using the autocomplete field for a cck nodereference always displays the node id as a cryptic bracketed extension: Page Title [nid:23] I understand that this ensures that selections are unique in case nodes have the same title, but obviously this is a nasty thing to expose to the user. Has anyone had any success in removing these brackets, or adding a different unique identifier?
