• Setting id to a panel control in gridview

  I have a panel control in gridview's template. I need to hide/unhide panel in javascript function, for that i need to pass panel's id to the javascript. The problem is that all panels have the same id in gridview, so I need to set unique id to each panel. I tried to do: <asp:Panel id= "Panel_<%# Eval("ID")%>" and some other variations but always get an error. The panel contains some other controls, I need it to be server side because I need to set at code-behind (after checking if user is authenticated) What can I do? p.s. It doesn't have to be Panel, any other control that I can find with Findcontrol and can hold other controls.

  The target id below is map_external, but I would like to get map_external(and a number) I have this: $('#jqt').bind('pageAnimationStart', function(e, info){ if (e.target.id == 'map_external') { if (info.direction =='in') { localiser(); } and it works, and my target page looks like this: <div id="map_external"> content.... </div> but I would like to have a random number aswell, like this: <div id="map_external<%=asp random number%>"> content.... </div> so how do i write if (e.target.id == 'map_external') so that it gets map_external and a number(any number)?   I am confused with the following sentence(with bold) from Microsoft about Session IDs. It seems to say the obvious, if we reuse a valid Session ID then we do not need to create a new Session ID. Am i missing something? What is reusing in this context? Using the Session ID as an identifier in database or etc is reusing or what? Therefore, you can reuse session IDs for several reasons. For example, if you reuse session IDs, you do not have to do the following: Create a new cryptographically unique session ID when you are presented with a valid session ID. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=899918

Let's say hide it. • New set up DHCP Server on Server 2008 R2 won't work, Event-ID 1046

  I just set up a 2008 R2 as DC, and DNS. Both worked fine, DNS works fine forward and reverse lookup. Now I wanted to install DHCP. As soon as the installation of the role is finished, I get this Event-ID Error 1046: Link When I first set it up there was also a Event-ID 1059 Error: Link The dhcp server is authorized. I don't know what else I should do. Getting crazy here, hope you guys can help me.

• How to recertify Notes .id file if you can't get into Notes Admin

  I've got a bit of a catch-22 situation here. My company used to use Notes, but migrated to Exchange several years ago. As such the Notes server was mothballed. I now need to get back into Notes to get some data from an old app we had. The trouble is, all my .id files have expired. I can't recertify them, as I can't log into Notes Admin - because the .id has expired. Is there any way round this? Thanks, Ben

• Windows 8 Login Password Out of Sync with Windows Live ID

  I'm working with a computer that has setup a local account connected under Windows Live ID. The user can login to Live ID (like hotmail) from another computer with the correct credentials. However from the Windows 8 computer using the correct password it indicates. That password is incorrect. Make sure you're using the password for you Mircrosoft Account. You can always reset it at account.live.com/password/reset. Now, I've used NTPASSWD to reset the password, but it seems that since its not a "Local Account" it wont take the new password or blank one. This account also has a "PIN" the user who also has forgotten it. I also tried to enable/password set the local Administrator account but it does not show up for login. Any ideas?

• Drivers for NVIDIA 520M not working in Ubuntu 12.04

  I am aware that this is nominally a duplicate question, however I've read the other questions and haven't been able to resolve my problem after many hours and attempts, so please don't delete it. Additionally, it seems like many answers to the other questions are specifically dependent on certain situations. My situation being different from the others I found represented, here's my question. Until last night, I had Ubuntu 12.04 installed with Wubi, and it ran ok, though slowly and with occasional hangs. So I partitioned the drive and installed 12.04 in its own partition. Now when I start it, I am stuck using 2D. I believe this is an NVIDIA bug. My NVIDIA card is a GT 520M and my machine has Optimus. Additional Drivers only displays my wireless driver. Going to System Settings Details Graphics shows Driver:Unknown, Experience:Standard. I downloaded the driver from the NVIDIA website, and ran the installer with no errors, except that the "distribution-provided pre-install script failed". After rebooting, my screen was stuck at 640X480, which was fixed by editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf However, I still was stuck in 2D, and nothing else had changed either. A thread suggested something called Bumblebee. I tried that, and when I ran optirun firefoxI got a frozen blank screen. Following another suggestion, I checked the BIOS to try and disable Optimus. I found and ran myriad other commands to try and fix the problem and nothing changed. Now I have just done a clean re-install of Ubuntu. From there, I: Installed all the updates Downloaded the NVIDIA driver Installed it Got screen stuck at 640X480, fixed in xorg.conf. To recap the problem: I can't get the NVIDIA drivers working I am stuck using 2D I'm an idiot I think if the first one is solved, the solution to the second will naturally follow. If you need me to provide any other information, I'd be happy to.   The sys.dm_os_waiting_tasks DMV contains a wealth of useful information about tasks waiting on a resource, but until now detailed information about the resource being consumed - sys.dm_os_waiting_tasks.resource_description - hasn't been documented, apart from a rather self-evident "Description of the resource that is being consumed."   Thanks to a recent Connect suggestion this column will get more information added. • MAC OSX 10.5.8 need to save rsync password with ssh-copy-id

  Hello all, I'll start by saying I'm very new to MAC but comfortable in using the command line thanks to using a linux a lot. I currently have rsync setup to run between a MAC OSX 10.5.8 server to a Linux Centos 5.5 Server. This is the command I'm running on the MAC server: rsync -avhe ssh "/Path/To/Data" [email protected]:data/ As it does it prompts for a password but I need it to save the password. After looking around I need to use: ssh-keygen -t dsa save the passkey and then move it over to the Linux server using: ssh-copy-id -i .ssh/id_dsa.pub [email protected] But ssh-copy-id doesnt seem to exist on the MAC server. How do I copy this key over? I've tried searching for the answer myself but the help seems to be all over the place for this.. Any help is greatly appreciated. Scott

• Windows 2003 Server R2SP2 throws even ID 2269 after installing Excel WebPart in MOSS3

  We recently added an Excel workbook webpart (read only excel file - no editing) on our Sharepoint 2007 server. Once we did that, approximately 3-4 times an hour event ID 2269 is shown in the Application Log and a few minutes after that, an event id 1002 is displayed in the system long and the Sharepoint Offfce Servers Application pool shuts down. We've already check the "Bypass traverse checking and DCOM settings) per the MS KB and I have opened a ticket with MS Support. Problem is that MS Suppoert (sharepoint) thinks it is an IIS problem and the IIS people think it is a Sharepoint issue. Anyone else seen this problem? If we remove the Excel webpart, everything goes back to normal. The App Pools, SP and SP Central Admin sites are all using the same domain service account. Thanks in advance, Phil

• How to make Outlook always show the full email id of a forwarded mail

  Am currently using Outlook 2013. Several times, when a mail is forwarded to me, i only see the First/Last name of the person in the forwarded mail, not the email id. Is there a way to make Outlook always display the email id. I get these mails from people, who are also using Outlook but different versions. One solution which we have to resort to, is to attach the mail, rather than forward, that way it retains the email address, but this is cumbersome, and I cannot ask everyone to do this. This is similar to this question, but the answer selected does not work for me.

  I am trying to create and install a debain NAS and ive been having a hard time because I am new to all of this. I used ntfs-3g in order to automount my 4 NTFS drives. I also have a partitioned harddrive which is for the OS. When I was working on it and I ran this command I got this: fdisk -l /dev/sdae1 fdisk -l | grep NTFS /dev/sda1 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 /dev/sdd1 The weird thing is, all of the NTFS harddrives listed had an ID of 7. The next time I boot up my machine, I get an error about mounting /dev/sda1 and I run this command, and get the following results: fdisk -l | grep NTFS /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 /dev/sdd1 /dev/sde1 I havent plugged in any drives, so whats going on? How to I make sure that my drives are mounted with the same sdXX name every time, and is the reason for this because they dont have unique ID numbers, if so, how do I solve this?

• Remove Live ID authentication from user account

  I've just run in to a really annoying issue with Windows 8.1 - it seems I cannot remove the need to use Live ID credentials from an account without completely deleting that account. I know the process to do it - use the Disconnect link from the Accounts-Your account screen. The trouble comes when you get to the Switch to a local account screen, it will not let you enter the current account for the user name, instead you must enter a new one thus creating a new user account. Can I revert back to using just a local login without having to recreate the account? It seems quite retarded that I have to recreate the account, as deep down the only change required is which credential provider is used to authenticate the login. (Note that this Live ID linkage was created by using the Windows Store, not as a result of an upgrade from 8 to 8.1).

• ubuntu 12.10/linux mint 14 ssh-copy-id doesn't work and returns Ambiguous output redirect

  I recently got a new computer and I'm trying to use ssh-copy-id to put my keys on another server so I can login without password. but when I try ssh-copy-id -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub user@server and after inputting the correct password it returns Ambiguous output redirect. There are no other messages after that. I thought it was maybe just Ubuntu 12.10 so I installed Linux Mint 14 and sure enough exact same thing happens. I've tried removing authorized_keys from the remote server but that didn't change anything.

• VPN: What should my Gateway remote ID be?

  I have a Netgear ProSafe UTM. I set the Gateway local ID to it's WAN IP. But I'm not sure what to put for it's Remote ID. I want to be able to connect to it from a laptop across the internet. I can chose between: Remote IP FQDN Client FQDN Cert DN Frankly I've tried them messing around with them all but I'm just shooting in the dark, and the help desk docs are worthless. Also, Googling around seems to end up with lots of pages not really related to what I want. A lot of pages on configuring Cisco or Windows home networking or privacy advocates.

• Xen find VBD id for physical disks

  I'm starting a xen domU using xm create config.cfg. Within the config file are a number of physical block devices (LVs) which are added to the guest and can be accessed fine when it boots. However, at a point in the future I need to be able to hot unplug one of these disks using the xm block-detach command. This command, however, requires the vbd id of the device to be detached and I can't find a way to find the device id for a particular disk 'plugged in' at start up. Any help is much appreciated!

I'm using flowroute as my carrier. Is there something wrong on their side?

  I am trying to set up a ZFS pool using 4 bare drives which I have attached to my Ubuntu system via a SATA hot swap backplane. These are Hitachi SATA drives. However, Apache 2.2 seems to accept the module id too. So, these both work: <IfModule mod_filter.c> and <IfModule filter_module> Is that true for all Apache versions? • How do I make this scroll layout work?

  I am currently trying to get my UI to have a Title Bar, a bottom Button bar, with a ScrollView in between. I can get bits and pieces of it to work, but once I get a different piece working, the old part goes back to not showing up. Here is a picture of my UI on the left, with what I want it to look like on the right...(sorry for the sloppiness, I edited it in MS Paint :P ) To sum it up, I want the Version and Type fields to be moved with room for the other TextViews in the XML file, and I want both buttons to appear on the bottom bar.
