  • Copying Android source code directory from one computer to an other one

    I have downloaded the Android source code on my computer using the repo sync command. Since I have no experience with git and repo , I would like to know if it is possible to copy the mydroid directory (which contains Android source code) to an other computer by just burning it on a DVD and then processing the build without problems.     I have removed a data directory from my java source code. now when i try to commit source then i get the following error. org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException: Working copy is corrupt Commit failed (details follow): Entry for 'directory' has no URL i get the same error when i remove a file. what is the reason. i am checking out on google code project website.

  • Hacking "Contact Form 7" code to Add A "Referred By" field

    I've got about 6 subdomains that have a "contact us" link and I'm sending all these links to a single form that uses "Contact Form 7". I add ?from=site-name to each of the links so that I can set a $referredFrom variable in the contact form. The only two things I'm missing are (1) the ability to insert this referredFrom variable into the email that I get whenever someone submits the form and (2) The ability to redirect the user back to the site they came from (stored in $referredFrom) Any ideas? The whole "thing" is written in a really obfuscating manner so it takes a lot of time to figure out what happens. How do you usually approach this kind of problem?     Is it possible to "learn" a regular expression by user-provided examples? To clarify: I do not want to learn regular expressions. I want to create a program which "learns" a regular expression from examples which are interactively provided by a user, perhaps by selecting parts from a text or selecting begin or end markers. Is it possible? Are there algorithms, keywords, etc. which I can Google for? EDIT: Thank you for the answers, but I'm not interested in tools which provide this feature. I'm looking for theoretical information, like papers, tutorials, source code, names of algorithms, so I can create something for myself.

However my problem is that I am using 2005 and not 2008. Does anyone know whether this is possible please?? The reason I want to do this is to better understand C# paradigms. With Java this is possible and I learnt a tremendous amount by being able to read code written by engineers

    We've all seen in-browser rich text editors, which allow you to edit colored/styled text in a WYSIWYG manner. But what about code editors, which automatically highlight code based on language rules as you type? Think Eclipse in a textarea (but without the refactoring support). Do such things exist? I imagine scaling would be a problem - larger files would be difficult to edit efficiently.

But if I want to host the project on Google code, how can I easily publish the documentation straight into the Google project Wiki pages? I can see the SVN repository has a wiki folder which I assume maps to the project Wiki pages and I guess I can make a build step to build the documentation from the autodoc tags. But is there some tool that generates wiki compatible format from the code documentation tags?
