I would like the user to be able to add to a struts2 multiple select form field and create a list or map of items (in this case Map where the data would be . <struts2:select name="event.dj_map" label="Add DJs To Your Event" list="event.dj_map" listsize="5" multiple="true" headerKey="headerKey" required="true" headerValue="--- Please Select ---"> So ultimately I would like to know how to pass a mult. select field (e.g. Events.dj_map) as a map of name,value pairs to an object (e.g. Event.java) set on the action (e.g. ManageEvents.java).

  • Multiple things at once (Threads?)

    All, What is a really simple way of having a program do more than one thing at once, even if the computer does not necessarily have multiple 'cores'. Can I do this by creating more than one Thread? My goal is to be able to have two computers networked (through Sockets) to respond to each-other's requests, while my program will at the same time be able to be managing a UI. I want the server to potentially handle more than one client at the same time as well. My understanding is that the communication is done with BufferedReader.readLine() and PrintWriter.println(). My problem is that I want the server to be waiting on multiple readLine() requests, and also be doing other things. How do I handle this? Many thanks, Jonathan

  • Attach GestureRecogniser to multiple imageviews

    Something strange I encountered today while attaching same gesture recogniser to multiple image views. It gets attached to only the last one, in other words, it can be attached to only one view! I had to create multiple gesture recognisers to meet my requirements. Following is what I have done. Am I doing correct? Is that's the only way to attach recognisers to the multiple imageviews? Please note that I don't want to use UITableView or UIVIew and put all imageviews in it and attach gesture recogniser to only UITableView or UIVIew. I have all image scattered and I have to detect which image is being dragged. Thanks.     Hi, i have an numpy array which represents multiple x-intervals of a function: In [137]: x_foo Out[137]: array([211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, 217, 218, 940, 941, 942, 943, 944, 945, 946, 947, 948, 949, 950]) as you can see, in x_foo are two intervals: one from 211 to 218, and one from 940 to 950. these are intervals, which i want to interpolate with scipy. for this, i need to adjust the spacing, e.g "211.0 211.1 211.2 ..." which you would normaly do with: arange( x_foo[0], x_foo[-1], 0.1 ) in the case of multiple intervals, this is not possible. so heres my question: is there a numpy-thonic way to do this in array-style? or do i need to write a function which loops over the whole array and split if the difference is 1? thanks!

    I am trying to create a simple inventory request system. A user can enter multiple SKU's that will query the inventory database. My problem is I am trying to do is associate these multiple queries into a type of list. This list can later be retrieved and contains all queries that were submitted simultaneously.     I am building a web application that includes a Google Map layered with data from a Google Fusion Table. I have defined the info window for the markers in the Fusion Table and all is rendering as expected, but I have one issue. I need to pass a session variable from my web application to be included in the links that are defined in the info window, but can't seem to find a way to do this.     I'm building a dml file that first deletes records that may be in the table, then inserts records. Example: DELETE from foo where field1='bar'; DELETE from foo where fields1='bazz'; INSERT ALL INTO foo(field1, field2) values ('bar', 'x') INTO foo(field1, field2) values ('bazz', 'y') SELECT * from DUAL; When I run the insert statement by itself, it runs fine. When I run the deletes, only the last delete runs. Also, it seems to be necessary to end the multiple insert with the select, is that so? If so, why is that necessary? In the past, when using MySQL, I could just list multiple delete and insert statements, all individually ending with a semicolon, and it would run fine.

    I've been using a lot of slideshows recently on my sites and one thing thats puzzled me is using more than one slideshow per page. I'm currently working on my own site, experimenting with Jquery Accordion. I've managed to adopt a very simple javascript slideshow, see below: http://dvpwebdesign.com/test/accordion/blank.html However i'm unable to either incorporate or use a different multiple slideshow plugin. I dont need slideshow navigation, so the The Cycle plugin works really well and i know you can use multiple slideshows. But if i either use Cycle alongside the current javascript slideshow, or only use the Cycle slideshow to avoid any possible conflict, the Accordion menu stops working. I just cant see what i am doing wrong, can anyone help?

The gap between end date 02/28/2013 and start date 07/01/2013 should be ignored because range from 01/01/2012 to 01/01/2014 cavers a gap. 3 01/01/2012 01/01/2014 3 01/01/2013 02/28/2013 3 07/01/2013 06/01/2014 The cursor can do it but it works extremely slow and not acceptable.
