    So what I have is a bunch of dynamically created textboxs that when the user enters some data and either tabs out or clicks out some calculations are done. After the page posts back control focus is lost. What I need is to be able to set focus back to the control that was tabbed to or clicked into not the control that data was entered into.

  • Printing Variable names and contents as debugging tool; looking for emacs/Python shortcut

    I find myself adding debugging "print" statements quite often -- stuff like this: print("a_variable_name: %s" % a_variable_name) How do you all do that? Am I being neurotic in trying to find a way to optimize this? I may be working on a function and put in a half-dozen or so of those lines, figure out why it's not working, and then cut them out again. Have you developed an efficient way of doing that? I'm coding Python in Emacs.

  • How do I get intellisense to pop up?

    How do I get intellisense to pop up while I am coding? I know it pops up when I start typing a known type e.g.: if I type NSS it will finish it for me NSString. How do I get it to give me a bunch of options like in Visual Studio e.g.: if I type NS I want to see what my options are like NSString, NSInteger etc? And if I have not typed anything I still want a bunch of options like all the instance variables etc.

    Hi, I have a Cocoon 2.2 based application which uses blocks for different tasks and one block for shared pipeline fragments. All blocks are mounted within an Cocoon webapp. Now I would like to have an block which generates an overview of all other mounted blocks.     hi all, in the case of an IM client. i have made 2 separate threads to handle sending packets (by std io) and receiving packets. the question is how to make these 2 threads run simultaneously so that i can keep prompting for input while at the same time be ready to receive packets at any time? i have already tried setting a timer but the data is always lost receiving.
