    I want to inesrt one image beside one text,like this i have to include three items in listbox. in run time. If the number of items is more than 3,then the last items get removed. How can i do that in WPF,C#. And the newly added item should get added in first place. Now i did up to include text at runtime. if (listBox1.Items.Count >= 3) listBox1.Items.RemoveAt(2); listBox1.Items.Insert(0,lData); But i do nto know how to insert image(small rectangle with red colr,green color)

  • Chnaging Displayed Image on a Webpage Using Javascript

    Hi all, I'm having some trouble changing an image being displayed on a page by way of a dropdown menu selection. This works fine.. getting the dropdown menu to give me an alert when I make a selection. Even though the menu is embedded within a division, paragraph, and label tag, it still works. "availableImages" is the name of my menu. function imageSelect() { var index = document.getElementById("myForm").availableImages.selectedIndex; var value = document.getElementById("myForm").availableImages.options[index].value; alert("test " + value); // alert box pops up upon list item selection } However, within the same division, I am having an issue with changing the source of my image tag...   • How to improve performance of map that loads new overlay images

    I have inherited a website to maintain that uses a html map overlaying a real map to link specific countries to specific pages. previously it loaded the default map image, then with some javascript it would change the image src to an image with that particular country in a different colour on mouseover and reset the image source back to the original image on mouse out to make maintenance (adding new countries) easier i made the initial map a background image by utilising some CSS for the div tag, and then created new images for each country which only had that countries hightlight so that the images remain fairly small. this works great but theres one issue which is particularly noticeable on slower internet connections when you hover over a country if you dont have the image file in your browser cache or downloaded it wont load the image unless you hover over another country and then back onto the first country - i guess this is due to the image having to manually be downloaded on first hover. My question: is it possible to force the load of these extra images AFTER the page and all the other assets have finished loading so that this behaviour is all but eliminated? the html code for the MAP is as follows: <div class="gtmap"><img id="Image-Maps_6200909211657061" src="<?php echo cdnhttpsCheck();   • href image link download on click

    Hey all, I generate normal links like: <a href="/path/to/image"><img src="/path/to/image" /></a> in a web app. When I click on the link, it displays the picture in a new page. If you want to save the picture, then you need to right click on it and select "save as" I don't want this behaviour, I would like to have a download box popping out when I click on the link, is that possible just with html or javascript? How? If not I guess I would have to write a download.php scrit and call it into the href with the file name as parameter...? Greetings! :)

    I have been trying to figure this out for quite some time right now. I've looked all over this site and many others, and can't find anything that works. I simply want icons next to each item in my navigation drawer. I just have no idea how to even begin inserting the icons from that array into the navigation items if it helps, here's what my arrays look like in my strings.xml (not full code) <string-array name="colors_array"> <item>Home</item> <item>Cherry</item> <item>Crimson</item> ... <array name="color_icons"> <item>@drawable/homeicon</item> <item>@drawable/cherryicon</item> <item>@drawable/crimsonicon</item> ... I've tried putting a drawable in the drawer_list_item, which works, but (of course) it always puts the same one in there. I could not think of a way to change it according to the color. I am relatively new to android programming, so if I am missing something simple, I'm sorry. If you could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it, as this is basically the last thing I need to do before I publish my application to the Play Store. Thanks in advance!

  • Android broswer crushes on Ajax calls, when viewport meta tag is defined

    I am building a web app, which is intended to run on the Android browser. When I have a webpage that contains any kind of viewport meta tag, like this: <meta name="viewport" content="width=400"/> My webpage crushes on ajax calls. It happens when using the emulator, the actual browser on my nexus one, and on a droid (all running Android 2.1). Without the meta tag, the ajax calls run as they should. Any ideas?

    Hi, I've asked here a question about Task Killers and widgets stop working (SO Question) but now, I have reports of user that they don't use any Task Killer and the widgets didn't work after a while. I have a Nexus One and I don't have this problem. I don't know if this is a problem of memory or something. Based on the API: A PendingIntent itself is simply a reference to a token maintained by the system describing the original data used to retrieve it. This means that, even if its owning application's process is killed, the PendingIntent itself will remain usable from other processes that have been given it. So, I don't know why widget stop working, if Android doesn't kill the PendingIntent by itself, what's the problem?     I can't find a way to hide dividers on an ExpandableListView without hiding the child dividers too.   • Image 8-connectivity without excessive branching?

    I'm writing a low level image processing algorithm which needs to do alot of 8-connectivity checks for pixels. For every pixel I often need to check the pixels above it, below it and on its sides and diagonals. On the edges of the image there are special cases where there are only 5 or 3 neighbors instead of 8 neighbors for a pixels. The naive way to do it is for every access to check if the coordinates are in the right range and if not, return some default value. I'm looking for a way to avoid all these checks since they introduce a large overhead to the algorithm. Are there any tricks to avoid it altogether?

  • Android Eclipse test projects cannot be used with a project being built in an Android build tree

    An Android Java project placed in a git repository and built in an Android tree in /packages/apps needs to have the project files located at the root of the git repository. This is problematic for creating a complementary Test project, which should ideally be included in the same git repository so commits are atomic for both code and tests. Eclipse gets very unhappy if you include the Test project as a subdirectory. Is there an appropriate approach for dealing with this other than creating a second repository?

    Hey all, I'm working my way through APress's Beginning Android 2 and I've made it all the way to chapter 3, where we build a skeleton app. The book tells me to compile my application by typing "ant" in the command line, but my pc doesn't know what "ant" is yet. I checked in the SDK files and it looks like it wasn't included with the Android SDK. Does anybody know where ant is? Thanks

    Hello! I recently learned how to rotate a BitmapImage using the 'TransformedBitmap' and 'RotateTransformed' classes. Now I am able to perform clockwise rotations on my images. But how do I FLIP an image? I can't find the class(es) to perform horizontal and vertical flips of a BitmapImage. Please help me figure out how to do it. For instance, if my image was a drawing that looked like a 'd', then a vertical flip would result in something like a 'q', and a horizontal flip would result in something lika a 'b'.
