    Hello all i have application that convert data structure from the GUI to doc/pdf/rtf/html ... files the structere logic contains the info about pages and data on each page so basccly i can convert it to every thing . but my problem is that i wish to convert this structure to some kind of book that is exe binary file . and i have no idea how or which ways i can do it ? can you give me some ideas or solutions on who to embed book into exe file Thanks

    I have been given a task to create an admin page to programmatically add IPs or domains to a SMTP Relay Restrictions using C#. I spent some time researching this since yesterday and finally traced this down to a few posts on several website that use the System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntr class. Using the examples I found, I can add or deny IPs or domains under Connection control but not Relay Restrictions. What would be the commands in C# to add IPs to the Relay Restrictions?     I'd like to create an MDI application using SWT. I've done extensive searches and reach that the Decorations Object is the one responsable for trying supporting behavior.     I am way too indecisive. I have an idea for a (admittedly craptastic) GUI program, so I start writing it in C# .NET WinForms. Then like halfway through I'm like, damn I should have written this in Qt. So I start writing it in Qt and remember why I hate C++ STL iterators so much. So in my head I go LINQ C++ STL So I'm like, maybe I'll do it in WPF, I like markup to make UIs hey this is kinda like web development (read: ez pz) BUT ITS LIKE WHY GOD WHY CANT I JUST PICK ONE AND COMMIT

  • MATLAB command for exporting geometry from pdetool

    I'm writing a MATLAB script which solves for the eigenmodes of a defined polygon. MATLAB's PDE toolbox lets me define the geometry using the command pdepoly() but I need to export the geometry description matrix manually to the workspace through the GUI before I can decompose, mesh, and solve the pde. Does anyone know either a command to export the geometry to the workspace or a better way to define this geometry description matrix in MATLAB? Many Thanks

    The latest Resharper (v5) version is based on native NUnit code and allows NUnit addins. I have a NUnit addin that works fine in NUnit GUI but I can not make it work with Resharper. Based on R# indication I have put my addins library in %ResharperPath%\Bin\addins but I doesn't work, my tests are marked as Ignored. Question: How to run the NUnit addins with ReSharper?

  • Avoid writing SQL queries altogether in SSIS

    Working on a Data Warehouse project, the guy that gave us the tutorial advised that we stick to using SQL queries over defining a lot of data flow transformations, citing points like it'll consume a lot of memory on the ETL box so we'd rather leave the processing to the DB box. Is this really advisable? Where's the balance between relying on GUI tools over executing a bunch of SQL scripts on your Integration package? And honestly, I'd like to avoid writing SQL queries as much as I can.

    Mac OS X Leopard has a virtual desktop implementation called Spaces. I want to programatically detect which space the user is currently on. Cocoa is preferable but AppleScript is acceptable if there's no other way. I've seen a couple of AppleScript implementations, but the techniques they used seemed a bit too hacky to use in production code (one relied on causing and error and then parsing the error message to get the current space, the other interrogated the Spaces menu GUI)

  • Is there an use case for non-blocking receive when I have threads?

    I know non-blocking receive is not used as much in message passing, but still some intuition tells me, it is needed. Take for example GUI event driven applications, you need some way to wait for a message in a non-blocking way, so your program can execute some computations. One of the ways to solve this is to have a special thread with message queue. Is there some use case, where you would really need non-blocking receive even if you have threads?

Recently there was an announcement that GWT will support Spring Roo and SpringSource Tool Suite (http://googlewebtoolkit.blogspot.com/2010/05/gwt-21-milestone-1-is-now-available.html). I am having trouble seeing the big picture from the Google announcement page. For those without much knowledge of Spring what does this mean for GWT developers used to building swing-like gui's?
