    Hello, I have been developing facebook applications for quit some time now but I have not yet been able to figure out how to monetize facebook applications that I develop and whether anyone is earning from facebook applications in the first place? I have recently heard though there are some facebook applications earning good deal, how? Note: Not sure whether to ask this question here, migrate accordingly if not applicable here. Having said that facebook application development is something done by we programmers so I thought this is appropriate to ask here. Thanks

  • Correct way to model recursive relationship in Django

    My application has two node types: a parent node which can hold recursive child nodes. Think of it like the post-comment system in SO, but comments can be recursive: parent_1 child_11 child_12 child_121 child_3 parent_2 child_21 child_211 child_2111 Important to note that the parent nodes have different attributes and behavior than the child nodes. What is the correct (and presumably most efficient) way of modeling this relationship in Django?

    I have an application which uses ActiveX controls. I want to automate this using Selenium IDE. But when i launch the application i end up in an error message "Turn on you ActiveX control".     Trying to include a source-file into my latex document using the listings package, i got problems with german umlauts inside of the comments in the code. Using \lstset{ extendedchars=\true, inputencoding=utf8x } Umlauts in the source files (encoded in UTF-8 without BOM) are processed, but they are somehow moved to the beginning of the word they are contained in. So // die Größe muss berücksichtigt werden in the input source file, becomes // die ößGre muss übercksichtigt werden in the output file.   • How to split a git repository while preserving subdirectories?

    What I want is similar to this question. However, I want the directory that is split into a separate repo to remain a subdirectory in that repo: I have this: foo/ .git/ bar/ baz/ qux/ And I want: foo/ .git/ bar/ baz/ quux/ .git/ qux/ # Note: still a subdirectory How to do this in git? I could use the method from this answer if there is some way to move all the new repo's contents into a subdirectory, throughout history.

    I am using a simple EditText and register an View.OnKeyListener. Some GUI changes should happen (fading in/out of views) when certain conditions for the EditView text apply. In the emulator, this works as expected. On the Motorola Droid/Milestone, the listener does not work, only after pressing DEL, the listener is called the first time and always afterwards when activating the number input, the listener works correctly Note: I deactivated the suggestions with TYPE_TEXT_FLAG_NO_SUGGESTIONS and used the IME action IME_ACTION_GO to have a workaround for this (otherwise the user could not "start" a request).
