  • Using Wix to Deploy an Outlook Add-In

    I have a requirement to create an installer for an Outlook 2003 add-in that was created with VSTO. We currently are using Wix for our installers as they play nice with MSBuild and I need to use it to create the installer for the outlook add-in. I have no experience with outlook add-ins and am unsure exactly what is involved and how to go about creating the installer. Can anyone share any experience/tips/examples that would help me please?     Hi All, I am trying to compare to textbox values on an aspx form. Both the values represent dates. The are formatted like "dd/MMM/yyyy". How can I compare them in javascript to see if they are not equal and which one is greater etc... Does javascript have a date constructor for strings like this? Any tips would be appreciated.   • How to take URL and split/string to get URL variables in Flash AS3

    So I have a URL that I need my Flash movie to extract variables from: example link: http://www.example.com/example_xml.php?aID=1234&bID=5678 I need to get the aID and the bID numbers. I'm able to get the full URL into a String via ExternalInterface var url:String = ExternalInterface.call("window.location.href.toString"); if (url) testField.text = url; Just unsure as how to manipulate the String to just get the 1234 and 5678 numbers. Appreciate any tips, links or help with this!

    I'm in need of some basic TSQL help. Here's my table layout: Orders Table SSN ZipCode ZipLookup Table ZipCode State All columns are varchars. How would I get a list of States with the number of distinct SSN's in each state? Preferably, if a particular SSN has orders from multiple states only the state with the most orders would be counted for that SSN. Thank you for any tips you can give me.

  • Allow outgoing connections using 'iptables'

    Greeting all, "iptables -L" gives the following output [root@ibmd ~]# iptables -L Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination Server has global IP and can be accessed from outer IPs.But I cannot ping nor telnet to any port (including TCP 80) from the server. Does this has something to do with my 'iptables' settings ? Any tips on allow access from my server? thanks in advance.

    Hi, Recently i had some issues with the swf application in IE, which is somethings like gallery. In Firefox its loads perfectly, but in IE it doesn't work properly in some times. For the first time loading its works fine but, when i refresh all the images are getting blank. Image data came from xml. But wish to get some tips regarding the browsers and swf behavior in each.
