  • How to test a Grails Service that utilizes a criteria query (with spock)?

    I am trying to test a simple service method. That method mainly just returns the results of a criteria query for which I want to test if it returns the one result or not (depending on what is queried for). The problem is, that I am unaware of how to right the corresponding test correctly. I am trying to accomplish it via spock, but doing the same with any other way of testing also fails. Can one tell me how to amend the test in order to make it work for the task at hand? (BTW I'd like to keep it a unit test, if possible.)     I have a form that is showing a MessageBox using MessageBox.Show, and trying to receive events from the Help button on the MessageBox so I can execute my own code. The Microsoft documentation shows how to do this; however, using what is suggested does not work.     I can't seem to get jQuery to notice the div within the following markup <button class="button submit positive right" id="omnisubmit" type="submit"> <div class="label">Submit</div> <div class="controller">&nbsp;</div> </button> And here is the jQuery I'm currently using: $("button#omnisubmit div.controller").hover(function () { console.log("Hover..."); }); However, jQuery doesn't seem to pick up when the mouse is hovering over that div, $("button#omnisubmit div.controller").hover( works correctly, of course. I have a feeling it's because putting divs inside buttons may not be standard HTML?

  • Adding on touch event to images inside gridview

    I have a gridview where each item has a image and a textview (an app), i added the onItemClick to the gridview in order to launch the app, i also removed the orange selection and made selector in xml so when pressed the text would change to grey and on release it would return to white. My problem is that i need the image to apply an alpha value when pressed and restore the previous alpha on release i tested a lot of ways and none did worked correctly. I came close with the updated answer from the autor of the question: How to set alpha value for drawable in a StateListDrawable?, but some how the state pressed never gets called, i don´t know if this is because i am using the onitemClick to launch the app or not. Also i since i can´t define the alpha on imageview xml i don´t know what else to do Any help will be appreciated

It is able to show newly created column with default value. But values are getting set for currently visible rows. To set value for all rows i have to do scrolling. So, how do i overcome this problem...

Other browsers work great! include the following scripts: jstree also throws a 'data not included' exception (which stumps me since it works without including the xinha library) Is there a way to find the conflict with Xinha and either work-around or resolve it for IE 8 using 1.4.2 jquery thanks please let me know if you need more info.

    I'm developing a touchscreen application that, aside from everything else, records the amount of times the screen is used so that the user can be reminded to clean the screen after a predefined number of clicks. I've got the click functions written nicely, all I need now is make sure the function is called on a click. I imagine $('*').click(function() { //do something }); would accomplish my goal, but is that the best way? Also, would that overwrite other click functions assigned to the elements?

  • Why is textbox.focus throwing the lostfocus event?

    I've seen a few similar questions on SO but nothing that seems to actually address the issue. Here's a simplified version of the function. Private Sub Check_Quantity(sender As System.Object, e As System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs) _ Handles textbox_quantity.LostFocus Dim worked As Boolean = Integer.TryParse(textbox_quantity.Text, quantity) If Not worked Then MsgBox("Enter a valid number for the quantity") textbox_quantity.Focus() textbox_quantity.SelectAll() quantity = 0 End If End Sub It's important to note that this is WPF. What I want to do is very simple. When someone finishes with the textbox the program checks that what they entered is a number. If it does it sticks this in an integer. If not, it tells them to fix it and keeps the focus on the textbox. The issue is a few things, but what it comes down to is this function runs in an infinite loop. This same function works fine in WinForms, but not in WPF. On some other questions people have said that the messagebox appearing causes focus to be lost, but in testing this isn't true. It still loops regardless of if the messagebox is called or not. The problem is the call to textbox_quantity.Focus(). Without that it works fine. Regardless of whether it's there or not though, focus is not set to the textbox, though textbox_quantity.Focus() still returns a value of true. Any thought of what's going on and maybe how I could fix it?
