  • Eclipse (STS), Maven and maven-minify-plugin, can they work together?

    - by CodeReaper
    Hi, I am working on a project where I am in charge of html, css and javascript. I found this maven-minify-plugin that seemed to just what I wanted. Everything is good when I deploy using maven on the server, but when I am using Eclipse (STS, www.springsource.com/products/sts) to run the project on localhost no css nor js file is generated by the plugin. Does anyone have experience with this Maven plugin, so they can tell me if it should be possible or not run on localhost? Does anyone have knowledge of another plugin I can use to (combine and) minify javascript and css files when running on localhost in Eclipse and also when deploying using Maven? Any help appreciated... ----extra information---- I basicly just copied in what it said on the plugin webpage, so I have these bits in my pom.xml: .... <build> <plugins> .... <plugin> <groupId>com.samaxes.maven</groupId> <artifactId>maven-minify-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.1</version> <executions> <execution> <id>default-minify</id> <phase>process-resources</phase> <configuration> <cssFiles> .... <param>forms.css</param> <param>jquery.droppy.css</param> <param>jquery.jgrowl.css</param> </cssFiles> <jsFiles> .... <param>jquery.droppy.js</param> <param>jquery.jgrowl.js</param> </jsFiles> <jsFinalFile>script.js</jsFinalFile> <linebreak>-1</linebreak> <nomunge>false</nomunge> <verbose>false</verbose> <preserveAllSemiColons>false</preserveAllSemiColons> <disableOptimizations>false</disableOptimizations> <bufferSize>4096</bufferSize> </configuration> <goals> <goal>minify</goal> </goals> </execution> </executions> </plugin> </plugins> </build> .... Should/Can I bind the plugin to a difference phase? I just use mvn clean package and move the snapshot into tomcat to deploy on the server. I am unsure on how to explain how I run the webapp on localhost, but here goes. I have a vanilia tomcat, that I defined as a server in Eclipse and then defined that the webapp should always build in that "server".

  • Google Drive Update keeps throwing an error when I try to save a thumbnail

    - by Dano64
    The Base64 string checks out fine. I was able to export it to another website and download it again as my image. When I try to do an update using the Drive Javascript api, it just keeps returning this error: Invalidvaluefor:Notavalidbase64bytestring I also true making the string URL safe. Per this page https://google-api-client-libraries.appspot.com/documentation/drive/v2/python/latest/drive_v2.files.html Am I doing something wrong here, the documentation says send Base64, the string is valid and, the string is intact throughout the process, but Google will not accept it? I am using the javascript api, I think there is maybe a bug sending the thumbnail using the javascript api. • Recursive XML through XSLT to XML

    - by Patrick
    Essentially, I have XML structured like this: <A> <B> <1>data</1> <2>data</2> <C> <1>data</1> <2>data</2> <B> <1>data</1> <2>data</2> <C> <B> <1>data</1> <2>data</2> </B> </C> </B> <B> <1>data</1> <2>data</2> </B> </C> </B> </A> I am trying to get the output to look like this: <A> <B 1="data" 2="data"> <C 1="data" 2="data"> <B 1="data" 2="data"> <C> <B 1="data" 2="data" > </B> </C> </B> <B 1="data" 2="data" > </B> </C> </B> </A> I have figured out how to put everything as attributes and start looping through the elements. The issue I am facing is that when trying to get below the first C, nothing happens. Here is my code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" exclude-result-prefixes="msxsl"> <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/> <xsl:template match="/"> <MenuDataResult> <B> <xsl:apply-templates /> </B> </MenuDataResult> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="B"> <xsl:for-each select="B"> <B ItemID="{B/ItemID/text()}" ItemType="{ItemType/text()}" ItemSubType="{ItemSubType/text()}" ItemTitle="{ItemTitle/text()}" ItemImage="{ItemImage/text()}" ItemImageOverride="{ItemImageOverride/text()}" ItemLink="{ItemLink/text()}" ItemTarget="{ItemTarget/text()}>"> <xsl:for-each select="C"> <xsl:apply-templates select="C"/> </xsl:for-each> </B> </xsl:for-each> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="C"> <C ID="{ID/text()}" Title="{Title/text()}" Template="{Template/text()}" Type="{Type/text()}" Link="{Link/text()}" ParentID="{ParentID/text()}" AncestorID="{AncestorID/text()}" FolderID="{FolderID/text()}" Description="{Description/text()}" Image="{Image/text()}" ImageOverride="{ImageOverride/text()}"> <xsl:for-each select="B"> <xsl:apply-templates select=".//B"/> </xsl:for-each> </C> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet>

  • Internet Explorer ajax request not returning anything

    - by Ryan Giglio
    At the end of my registration process you get to a payment screen where you can enter a coupon code, and there is an AJAX call which fetches the coupon from the database and returns it to the page so it can be applied to your total before it is submitted to paypal. It works great in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, but in Internet Explorer, nothing happens. The (data) being returned to the jQuery function appears to be null. jQuery Post function applyPromo() { var enteredCode = $("#promoCode").val(); $(".promoDiscountContainer").css("display", "block"); $(".promoDiscount").html("<img src='/images/loading.gif' alt='Loading...' title='Loading...' height='18' width='18' />"); $.post("/ajax/lookup-promo.php", { promoCode : enteredCode }, function(data){ if ( data != "error" ) { var promoType = data.getElementsByTagName('promoType').item(0).childNodes.item(0).data; var promoAmount = data.getElementsByTagName('promoAmount').item(0).childNodes.item(0).data; $(".promoDiscountContainer").css("display", "block"); $(".totalWithPromoContainer").css("display", "block"); if (promoType == "percent") { $("#promoDiscount").html("-" + promoAmount + "%"); var newPrice = (originalPrice - (originalPrice * (promoAmount / 100))); $("#totalWithPromo").html(" $" + newPrice); if ( promoAmount == 100 ) { skipPayment(); } } else { $("#promoDiscount").html("-$" + promoAmount); var newPrice = originalPrice - promoAmount; $("#totalWithPromo").html(" $" + newPrice); } $("#paypalPrice").val(newPrice + ".00"); $("#promoConfirm").css("display", "none"); $("#promoConfirm").html("Promotion Found"); finalPrice = newPrice; } else { $(".promoDiscountContainer").css("display", "none"); $(".totalWithPromoContainer").css("display", "none"); $("#promoDiscount").html(""); $("#totalWithPromo").html(""); $("#paypalPrice").val(originalPrice + ".00"); $("#promoConfirm").css("display", "block"); $("#promoConfirm").html("Promotion Not Found"); finalPrice = originalPrice; } }, "xml"); } Corresponding PHP Page include '../includes/dbConn.php'; $enteredCode = $_POST['promoCode']; $result = mysql_query( "SELECT * FROM promotion WHERE promo_code = '" . $enteredCode . "' LIMIT 1"); $currPromo = mysql_fetch_array( $result ); if ( $currPromo ) { if ( $currPromo['percent_off'] != "" ) { header("content-type:application/xml;charset=utf-8"); echo "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\" standalone=\"yes\"?>"; echo "<promo>"; echo "<promoType>percent</promoType>"; echo "<promoAmount>" . $currPromo['percent_off'] .   • Remove all nodes from xml excluding specific nodes using XSLT

    - by Grinner
    Hi, I have a bunch of xml files with a varying amount of data nodes in them and I want to change the files using XSLT to include only specific nodes. Example: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SomeName> <identifier> <UID> 1234 </UID> </identifier> <MainNode1> <SubNode1> <Subnode1a>DATA1a0</Subnode1a> </SubNode1> <SubNode1> <Subnode1a>DATA1a1</Subnode1a> </SubNode1> <SubNode1> <Subnode1a>DATA1a2</Subnode1a> </SubNode1> </MainNode1> <MainNode2> <SubNode2> <Subnode2a>DATA2a0</Subnode2a> </SubNode2> </MainNode2> <MainNodeIDONTCARE> <SubnodeWhatever> </SubnodeWhatever> </MainNodeIDONTCARE> <MainNodeuseless> <SubnodeWhatever> </SubnodeWhatever> </MainNodeuseless> <MainNodewhatever> <SubnodeWhatever> </SubnodeWhatever> </MainNodewhatever> </SomeName> Now my final XML file should look like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SomeName> <identifier> <UID> 1234 </UID> </identifier> <MainNode1> <SubNode1> <Subnode1a>DATA1a0</Subnode1a> </SubNode1> <SubNode1> <Subnode1a>DATA1a1</Subnode1a> </SubNode1> <SubNode1> <Subnode1a>DATA1a2</Subnode1a> </SubNode1> </MainNode1> <MainNode2> <SubNode2> <Subnode2a>DATA2a0</Subnode2a> </SubNode2> </MainNode2> </SomeName> I've been trying to get it done with XSLT, but I can't seem to get it done. Thanks for any help.

  • How to find problem with PHP XSLTProcessor when return from transformToXML is false and libxml_get_

    - by John
    I'm working on the code below to allow HTTP user agents that cannot perform XSL transformations to view the resources on my server. I'm mystified because the result of transformToXML is false, but the result of libxml_get_errors() is an empty array. As you can see, the code outputs the LibXSLT version ID and I'm getting the problem on WinVista with version 1.1.24. Is libxml_get_errors() not the right function to get the errors from the XSLTProcessor object? If you're interested in the XML documents, you can get them from http://bobberinteractive.com/index.xhtml and .../stylesheets/layout.xsl <?php //redirect browsers that can handle the source files. if (strpos ( $_SERVER ['HTTP_ACCEPT'], 'application/xhtml+xml' )) { header ( "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently" ); header ( "Location: http://" . $_SERVER ['SERVER_NAME'] . "/index.xhtml" ); header ( "Content-Type: text/text" ); echo "\nYour browser is capable of processing the <a href='/index.xhtml' site contents on its own."; die (); } //start by checking the template $baseDir = dirname ( __FILE__ ); $xslDoc = new DOMDocument (); if (! $xslDoc-load ( $baseDir . '/stylesheets/layout.xsl' )) { header ( "HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error" ); header ( "Content-Type: text/plain" ); echo "\n Can't load " . $baseDir . '/stylesheets/layout.xsl'; die (); } //resolve the requested resource (browsers that need transformation will request the resource without the suffix) $uri = $_SERVER ['REQUEST_URI']; $len = strlen ( $uri ); if (1 = $len || '/' == substr ( $uri, $len - 1 )) { $fileName = $baseDir . "/index.xhtml"; // use 'default' document if pathname ends in '/' } else { $fileName = $baseDir . (1 load ( $fileName )) { header ( "HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error" ); echo "\n Can't load " . $fileName; die (); } // now start the XSL template processing $proc = new XSLTProcessor (); $proc-importStylesheet ( $xslDoc ); $doc = $proc-transformToXML ( $xmlDoc ); if (false === $doc) { header ( "HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error" ); header ( "Content-Type: text/plain" ); echo "\n"; // HERE is where it gets strange: the value of $doc is false and libxml_get_errors returns 0 entries. display_xml_errors ( libxml_get_errors() ); die (); } header ( "Content-Type: text/html" ); echo "\n"; echo $doc; function display_xml_errors($errors) { echo count ( $errors ) . " Error(s) from LibXSLT " . LIBXSLT_DOTTED_VERSION; for($i = 0; $i level) { case LIBXML_ERR_WARNING : $return .= "Warning $error-code: "; break; case LIBXML_ERR_ERROR : $return .= "Error $error-code: "; break; case LIBXML_ERR_FATAL : $return .= "Fatal Error $error-code: "; break; } $return .= trim ( $error-message ) .   • "Row not found or changed" Problem

    - by winston schröder
    Hi there, I'm working on a SQL CE Database and get into the "Row nor found or changed" exception. The exception only occurs when I try to update. On the first Run after the insert it shows up a MemberChangeConflict which says, that my Column Created_at has in all three values (current, original, database) the same. But in a second attempt it doesn't appear anymore. The DataContext is instanciated on Startup and freed on Exit of my Local(!) Application. I use a sqlmetal generated mapping and code file. In the map I added some Associations and set the timemstamp columns UpdateCheck property to Always while all other have the setting never. The Timestamp Column is marked as isVersion="true", the Id Column as Primary Key. Since I don't dispose the datacontext I expected to be using implicit transaction. When I run the SubmitChanges Method within a TransactionScope. Can anyone tell me how I can update the timestamp within the code ? I know about the Problems one has to deal with if you dispose the datacontext. So I decided not to do this since I use a Single User Local DB Cache File. (I did already use a version where I disposed the datacontext after every usage, but this version had a real bad performance and error rate, so I decided to choose the other variant.) LibDB.Client.Vehicles tmp = null; try { tmp = e.Parameter as LibDB.Client.Vehicles; if (tmp == null) return; if (!this._dc.Vehicles.Contains(tmp)) { this._dc.Vehicles.Attach(tmp); } this.ShowChangesReport(this._dc.GetChangeSet()); using (TransactionScope ts = new TransactionScope()) { try { this._dc.SubmitChanges(); ts.Complete(); } catch (ChangeConflictException cce) { Console.WriteLine("Optimistic concurrency error."); Console.WriteLine(cce.Message); Console.ReadLine(); foreach (ObjectChangeConflict occ in this._dc.ChangeConflicts) { MetaTable metatable = this._dc.Mapping.GetTable(occ.Object.GetType()); LibDB.Client.Vehicles entityInConflict = (LibDB.Client.Vehicles)occ.Object; Console.WriteLine("Table name: {0}", metatable.TableName); Console.Write("Vin: "); Console.WriteLine(entityInConflict.Vin); foreach (MemberChangeConflict mcc in occ.MemberConflicts) { object currVal = mcc.CurrentValue; object origVal = mcc.OriginalValue; object databaseVal = mcc.DatabaseValue; MemberInfo mi = mcc.Member; Console.WriteLine("Member: {0}", mi.Name); Console.WriteLine("current value: {0}", currVal); Console.WriteLine("original value: {0}", origVal); Console.WriteLine("database value: {0}", databaseVal); } throw cce; } } catch (Exception ex) { this.ShowChangeConflicts(this._dc.ChangeConflicts); Console.WriteLine(ex.Message); } } this.ShowChangesReport(this._dc.GetChangeSet());

  • Forcing a transaction to rollback on validation errors in Seam

    - by Chris Williams
    Quick version: We're looking for a way to force a transaction to rollback when specific situations occur during the execution of a method on a backing bean but we'd like the rollback to happen without having to show the user a generic 500 error page. Instead, we'd like the user to see the form she just submitted and a FacesMessage that indicates what the problem was. Long version: We've got a few backing beans that use components to perform a few related operations in the database (using JPA/Hibernate). During the process, an error can occur after some of the database operations have happened. This could be for a few different reasons but for this question, let's assume there's been a validation error that is detected after some DB writes have happened that weren't detectible before the writes occurred. When this happens, we'd like to make sure all of the db changes up to this point will be rolled back. Seam can deal with this because if you throw a RuntimeException out of the current FacesRequest, Seam will rollback the current transaction. The problem with this is that the user is shown a generic error page. In our case, we'd actually like the user to be shown the page she was on with a descriptive message about what went wrong, and have the opportunity to correct the bad input that caused the problem. The solution we've come up with is to throw an Exception from the component that discovers the validation problem with the annotation: @ApplicationException( rollback = true ) Then our backing bean can catch this exception, assume the component that threw it has published the appropriate FacesMessage, and simply return null to take the user back to the input page with the error displayed. The ApplicationException annotation tells Seam to rollback the transaction and we're not showing the user a generic error page. This worked well for the first place we used it that happened to only be doing inserts. The second place we tried to use it, we have to delete something during the process. In this second case, everything works if there's no validation error. If a validation error does happen, the rollback Exception is thrown and the transaction is marked for rollback. Even if no database modifications have happened to be rolled back, when the user fixes the bad data and re-submits the page, we're getting: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Removing a detached instance The detached instance is lazily loaded from another object (there's a many to one relationship). That parent object is loaded when the backing bean is instantiated. Because the transaction was rolled back after the validation error, the object is now detached. Our next step was to change this page from conversation scope to page scope. When we did this, Seam can't even render the page after the validation error because our page has to hit the DB to render and the transaction has been marked for rollback. So my question is: how are other people dealing with handling errors cleanly and properly managing transactions at the same time? Better yet, I'd love to be able to use everything we have now if someone can spot something I'm doing wrong that would be relatively easy to fix. I've read the Seam Framework article on Unified error page and exception handling but this is geared more towards more generic errors your application might encounter.

The webservice is giving me data in the following format:- <?xml version="1.0"?> <xml_api_reply version="1"> <weather module_id="0" tab_id="0" mobile_row="0" mobile_zipped="1" row="0" section="0" > <forecast_information> <city data="Kolkata, West Bengal"/> <postal_code data="Kolkata"/> <latitude_e6 data=""/> <longitude_e6 data=""/> <forecast_date data="2010-04-28"/> <current_date_time data="2010-04-28 10:20:00 +0000"/> <unit_system data="US"/> </forecast_information> <current_conditions ><condition data="Haze"/> <temp_f data="97"/> <temp_c data="36"/> <humidity data="Humidity: 53%"/> <icon data="/ig/images/weather/haze.gif"/> <wind_condition data="Wind: S at 12 mph"/> </current_conditions> <forecast_conditions> <day_of_week data="Wed"/> <low data="82"/> <high data="91"/> <icon data="/ig/images/weather/chance_of_rain.gif"/> <condition data="Chance of Rain"/> </forecast_conditions> <forecast_conditions> <day_of_week data="Thu"/> <low data="82"/> <high data="96"/> <icon data="/ig/images/weather/rain.gif"/> <condition data="Rain"/> </forecast_conditions> <forecast_conditions> <day_of_week data="Fri"/> <low data="82"/> <high data="96"/> <icon data="/ig/images/weather/sunny.gif"/> <condition data="Clear"/> </forecast_conditions> <forecast_conditions> <day_of_week data="Sat"/> <low data="78"/> <high data="98"/> <icon data="/ig/images/weather/mostly_sunny.gif"/> <condition data="Mostly Sunny"/> </forecast_conditions> </weather> As I'm new to iPhone development so i'm facing problem while reading this using xmlparser. Please help me out of this problem. Looking forward to your valuable reply. Thanks in advance..

  • The maven assembly plugin is not using the finalName for installing with attach=true?

    - by Roland Wiesemann
    I have configured following assembly: <build> <plugins> <plugin> <artifactId>maven-assembly-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.2-beta-5</version> <executions> <execution> <id>${project.name}-test-assembly</id> <phase>package</phase> <goals> <goal>single</goal> </goals> <configuration> <appendAssemblyId>false</appendAssemblyId> <finalName>${project.name}-test</finalName> <filters> <filter>src/assemble/test/distribution.properties</filter> </filters> <descriptors> <descriptor>src/assemble/distribution.xml</descriptor> </descriptors> <attach>true</attach> </configuration> </execution> <execution> <id>${project.name}-prod-assembly</id> <phase>package</phase> <goals> <goal>single</goal> </goals> <configuration> <appendAssemblyId>false</appendAssemblyId> <finalName>${project.name}-prod</finalName> <filters> <filter>src/assemble/prod/distribution.properties</filter> </filters> <descriptors> <descriptor>src/assemble/distribution.xml</descriptor> </descriptors> <attach>true</attach> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> </plugins> </build> This produced two zip-files: distribution-prod.zip distribution-test.zip My expectation for the property attach=true is, that the two zip-files are installed with the name as given in property finalName. But the result is, only one file is installed (attached) to the artifact. The maven protocol is: distrib-0.1-SNAPSHOT.zip distrib-0.1-SNAPSHOT.zip The plugin is using the artifact-id instead of property finalName! Is this a bug? The last installation is overwriting the first one. What can i do to install this two files with different names? Thanks for your investigation. Roland

  • maven scm plugin deleting output folder in every execution

    - by Udo Fholl
    Hi all, I need to download from 2 different svn locations to the same output directory. So i configured 2 different executions. But every time it executes a checkout deletes the output directory so it also deletes the already downloaded projects. Here is a sample of my pom.xml: <profiles> <profile> <id>checkout</id> <activation> <property> <name>checkout</name> <value>true</value> </property> </activation> <build> <plugins> <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-scm-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.3</version> <configuration> <username>${svn.username}</username> <password>${svn.pass}</password> <checkoutDirectory>${path}</checkoutDirectory> <skipCheckoutIfExists /> </configuration> <executions> <execution> <id>checkout_a</id> <configuration> <connectionUrl>scm:svn:https://host_n/folder</connectionUrl> <checkoutDirectory>${path}</checkoutDirectory> </configuration> <phase>process-resources</phase> <goals> <goal>checkout</goal> </goals> </execution> <execution> <id>checkout_b</id> <configuration> <connectionUrl>scm:svn:https://host_l/anotherfolder</connectionUrl> <checkoutDirectory>${path}</checkoutDirectory> </configuration> <phase>process-resources</phase> <goals> <goal>checkout</goal> </goals> </execution> </executions> </plugin> </plugins> </build> </profile> Is there any way to prevent the executions to delete the folder ${path} ? Thank you. PS: I cant format the pom.xml fragment correctly, sorry!

  • WCF DataContractSerializer Behavior

    - by sbanwart
    I'm seeing some unusual behavior when using the DataContractSerializer. I have defined a message contract like so: namespace MyNamespace.DataContracts { [MessageContract(WrapperName = "order", WrapperNamespace = @"http://example.com/v1/order")] public class MyOrder { [MessageBodyMember(Namespace = @"http://http://example.com/v1/order", Order = 1)] public MyStore store; [MessageBodyMember(Namespace = @"http://http://example.com/v1/order", Order = 2)] public MyOrderHeader orderHeader; [MessageBodyMember(Namespace = @"http://example.com/v1/order", Order = 3)] public List<MyPayment> payments; [MessageBodyMember(Namespace = @"http://example.com/v1/order", Order = 4)] public List<MyShipment> shipments; } . . I'm sending it an XML message that looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <order xmlns="http://example.com/v1/order> <store> ... </store> <orderHeader> ... </orderHeader> <payments> <payment> ... </payment> </payments> <shipments> <shipment> ... </shipment> </shipments> </order> My service deserializes this XML as expected. Inside my service, I'm using the DataContractSerializer to create an XML string and that's where things get weird. I'm using the serializer like this: DataContractSerializer serializer = new DataContractSerializer(typeof(MyOrder)); using (MemoryStream ms = new MemoryStream()) { serializer.WriteObject(ms, order); ms.Position = 0; StreamReader sr = new StreamReader(ms); string outputMessage = sr.ReadToEnd(); } Once this finishes, the outputMessage contains the following XML: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <MyOrder xmlns="http://example.com/v1/order" xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <order> <store> ... </store> <orderHeader> ... </orderHeader> <payments> <payment> ... </payment> </payments> <shipments> <shipment> ... </shipment> </shipments> </order> </MyOrder> Needless to say, anything expecting to receive the original XML message will fail to parse this. So I guess I have two questions: Why is the DataContractSerializer adding the extra outer node to my XML output? Is there a way to stop it from doing this? Thanks.

  • SharePoint Feature suggestion

    - by barathan
    I have written a feature(Site scoped) that adds custom menu items to the New Menu and EditControlBlock of document library. These menu items should show up only when the user has add and edit permissions for that document library. If he selected the menu, url is redirected to my webpart. Webpart is deployed in site collection. To do this i have two way. I mentioned in as case 1 & case 2. But in the both cases i failed to fulfill my requirement Below are the sample entries in Feature and Element manifest file I am passing the current location to sourceurl in order to get the folder url <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <Feature Id="59bba8e7-0cfc-46e3-9285-4597f8085e76" Title="My Custom Menus" Scope="Site" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/"> <ElementManifests> <ElementManifest Location="Elements.xml" /> </ElementManifests></Feature> Case 1: <Elements xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/"> <CustomAction Id="EditMenu1" RegistrationType="FileType" RegistrationId="txt" Location="EditControlBlock" Sequence="106" ImageUrl="/_layouts/images/PPT16.GIF" Title="My Edit Menu" Rights="AddListItems,EditListItems"> <UrlAction Url="javascript:var surl='{SiteUrl}'; window.location='/test/mypage.aspx?siteurl='+surl+'&amp;itemurl={ItemUrl}&amp;itemid={ItemId}&amp;listid={ListId}&amp;Source='+window.location" /> </CustomAction> <CustomAction Id="NewMenu1" GroupId="NewMenu" RegistrationType="List" RegistrationId="101" Location="Microsoft.SharePoint.StandardMenu" Sequence="1002" ImageUrl ="/_layouts/images/DOC32.GIF" Title="My New Menu" Rights="AddListItems,EditListItems"> <UrlAction Url="javascript:var surl='{SiteUrl}'; window.location='/test/mypage.aspx?siteurl='+surl+'&amp;listid={ListId}&amp;Source='+window.location" /> </CustomAction> </Elements> If i use the above code, it was not redirected to site collection instead of it is redirecting to rootsite. Is there is any way to get the site collection variable. To overcome this issue i used the following code: Case 2: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <Elements xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/"> <CustomAction Id="EditMenu1" RegistrationType="FileType" RegistrationId="txt" Location="EditControlBlock" Sequence="106" ImageUrl="/_layouts/images/PPT16.GIF" Title="My Edit Menu" Rights="AddListItems,EditListItems"> <UrlAction Url="~sitecollection/test/mypage.aspx?siteurl={SiteUrl}&amp;itemurl={ItemUrl}&amp;itemid={ItemId}&amp;listid={ListId}&amp;Source=/" /> </CustomAction> <CustomAction Id="NewMenu1" GroupId="NewMenu" RegistrationType="List" RegistrationId="101" Location="Microsoft.SharePoint.StandardMenu" Sequence="1002" ImageUrl ="/_layouts/images/DOC32.GIF" Title="My New Menu" Rights="AddListItems,EditListItems"> <UrlAction Url="~sitecollection/test/mypage.aspx?siteurl={SiteUrl}&amp;listid={ListId}&amp;Source=/" /> </CustomAction> </Elements> But in this case, it is correctly redirected to the site collection. But it fails to get the folder url because current location can't pass through in this case. while creating new document. Could you please suggest me either how to get the site collection url in the case 1 or how to pass the current location to the sourceul in case 2

  • NHibernate Proxy Creation

    - by Chris Meek
    I have a class structure like the following class Container { public virtual int Id { get; set; } public IList<Base> Bases { get; set; } } class Base { public virtual int Id { get; set; } public virtual string Name { get; set; } } class EnemyBase : Base { public virtual int EstimatedSize { get; set; } } class FriendlyBase : Base { public virtual int ActualSize { get; set; } } Now when I ask the session for a particular Container it normally gives me the concrete EnemyBase and FriendlyBase objects in the Bases collection. I can then (if I so choose) cast them to their concrete types and do something specific with them. However, sometime I get a proxy of the "Base" class which is not castable to the concrete types. The same method is used both times with the only exception being that in the case that I get proxies I have added some related entities to the session (think the friendly base having a collection of people or something like that). Is there any way I can prevent it from doing the proxy creating and why would it choose to do this in some scenarios? UPDATE The mappings are generated with the automap feature of fluentnhibernate but look something like this when exported <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" default-access="property" auto-import="true" default-cascade="none" default-lazy="true"> <class xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" mutable="true" name="Base" table="`Base`"> <id name="Id" type="System.Int32, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089"> <column name="Id" /> <generator class="MyIdGenerator" /> </id> <property name="Name" type="String"> <column name="Name" /> </property> <joined-subclass name="EnemyBase"> <key> <column name="Id" /> </key> <property name="EstimatedSize" type="Int"> <column name="EstimatedSize" /> </property> </joined-subclass> <joined-subclass name="FriendlyBase"> <key> <column name="Id" /> </key> <property name="ActualSize" type="Int"> <column name="ActualSize" /> </property> </joined-subclass> </class> </hibernate-mapping> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" default-access="property" auto-import="true" default-cascade="none" default-lazy="true"> <class xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" mutable="true" name="Container" table="`Container`"> <id name="Id" type="System.Int32, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089"> <column name="Id" /> <generator class="MyIdGenerator" /> </id> <bag cascade="all-delete-orphan" inverse="true" lazy="false" name="Bases" mutable="true"> <key> <column name="ContainerId" /> </key> <one-to-many class="Base" /> </bag> </class> </hibernate-mapping>

  • Android: How/where to put gesture code into IME?

    - by CardinalFIB
    Hi, I'm new to Android but I'm trying to create an IME that allows for gesture-character recognition. I can already do simple apps that perform gesture recognition but am not sure where to hook in the gesture views/obj with an IME. Here is a starting skeleton of what I have for the IME so far. • Recursive XSD Help

    - by Alon
    Hi, i'm trying to learn a little bit XSD and I'm trying to create a XSD for this xml: <Document> <TextBox Name="Username" /> <TextBox Name="Password" /> </Document> ... so there's an element, which is an abstract complex type. Every element have elements and so on. Document and TextBox are extending Element. I trid this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <xs:element name="Document"> <xs:complexType> <xs:complexContent> <xs:extension base="Element"> </xs:extension> </xs:complexContent> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> <xs:complexType name="Element" abstract="true"> <xs:sequence minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"> <xs:element name="Element" type="Element"></xs:element> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> <xs:complexType name="TextBox"> <xs:complexContent> <xs:extension base="Element"> <xs:attribute name="Name" type="xs:string" /> </xs:extension> </xs:complexContent> </xs:complexType> </xs:schema> I compiled it to C# with Xsd2Code, and now I try to deserialize it: var serializer = new XmlSerializer(typeof(Document)); var document = (Document)serializer.Deserialize(new FileStream("Document1.xml", FileMode.Open)); foreach (var element in document.Element1) { Console.WriteLine(((TextBox)element).Name); } Console.ReadLine(); and it dosen't print anything. When I try to serialize it like so: var serializer = new XmlSerializer(typeof(Document)); var document = new Document(); document.Element1 = new List<Element>(); document.Element1.Add(new TextBox() { Name = "abc" }); serializer.Serialize(new FileStream("d.xml", FileMode.Create), document); ...the output is: <?xml version="1.0"?> <Document xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <Element1> <Element xsi:type="TextBox"> <Element1 /> <Name>abc</Name> </Element> </Element1> </Document> When it should be: <Document> <TextBox Name="abc" /> </Document> Any ideas how to fix the xsd or another code generator? Thanks.

  • WCF service using duplex channel in different domains

    - by ds1
    I have a WCF service and a Windows client. They communicate via a Duplex WCF channel which when I run from within a single network domain runs fine, but when I put the server on a separate network domain I get the following message in the WCF server trace... The message with to 'net.tcp://abc:8731/ActiveAreaService/mex/mex' cannot be processed at the receiver, due to an AddressFilter mismatch at the EndpointDispatcher. Check that the sender and receiver's EndpointAddresses agree. So, it looks like the communication just work in one direction (from client to server) if the components are in two separate domains. The Network domains are fully trusted, so I'm a little confused as to what else could cause this? Server app.config <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration> <system.serviceModel> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="JobController.ActiveAreaBehavior"> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="false" /> <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true" /> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> </behaviors> <services> <service behaviorConfiguration="JobController.ActiveAreaBehavior" name="JobController.ActiveAreaServer"> <endpoint address="mex" binding="mexTcpBinding" bindingConfiguration="" contract="IMetadataExchange" /> <host> <baseAddresses> <add baseAddress="net.tcp://SERVER:8731/ActiveAreaService/" /> </baseAddresses> </host> </service> </services> </system.serviceModel> </configuration> but I also add an end point programmatically in Visual C++ host = gcnew ServiceHost(ActiveAreaServer::typeid); NetTcpBinding^ binding = gcnew NetTcpBinding(); binding->MaxBufferSize = Int32::MaxValue; binding->MaxReceivedMessageSize = Int32::MaxValue; binding->ReceiveTimeout = TimeSpan::MaxValue; binding->Security->Mode = SecurityMode::Transport; binding->Security->Transport->ClientCredentialType = TcpClientCredentialType::Windows; ServiceEndpoint^ ep = host->AddServiceEndpoint(IActiveAreaServer::typeid, binding, String::Empty); // Use the base address Client app.config <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration> <system.serviceModel> <bindings> <netTcpBinding> <binding name="NetTcpBinding_IActiveAreaServer" closeTimeout="00:01:00" openTimeout="00:01:00" receiveTimeout="00:10:00" sendTimeout="00:01:00" transactionFlow="false" transferMode="Buffered" transactionProtocol="OleTransactions" hostNameComparisonMode="StrongWildcard" listenBacklog="10" maxBufferPoolSize="524288" maxBufferSize="65536" maxConnections="10" maxReceivedMessageSize="65536"> <readerQuotas maxDepth="32" maxStringContentLength="8192" maxArrayLength="16384" maxBytesPerRead="4096" maxNameTableCharCount="16384" /> <reliableSession ordered="true" inactivityTimeout="00:10:00" enabled="false" /> <security mode="Transport"> <transport clientCredentialType="Windows" protectionLevel="EncryptAndSign" /> <message clientCredentialType="Windows" /> </security> </binding> </netTcpBinding> </bindings> <client> <endpoint address="net.tcp://SERVER:8731/ActiveAreaService/" binding="netTcpBinding" bindingConfiguration="NetTcpBinding_IActiveAreaServer" contract="ActiveArea.IActiveAreaServer" name="NetTcpBinding_IActiveAreaServer"> <identity> <userPrincipalName value="[email protected]" /> </identity> </endpoint> </client> </system.serviceModel> </configuration> Any help is appreciated!   • c - dereferencing issue

    - by Joe
    Hi, I have simplified an issue that I've been having trying to isolate the problem, but it is not helping. I have a 2 dimensional char array to represent memory. I want to pass a reference to that simulation of memory to a function. In the function to test the contents of the memory I just want to iterate through the memory and print out the contents on each row. The program prints out the first row and then I get seg fault. My program is as follows: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <ctype.h> #include <string.h> void test_memory(char*** memory_ref) { int i; for(i = 0; i < 3; i++) { printf("%s\n", *memory_ref[i]); } } int main() { char** memory; int i; memory = calloc(sizeof(char*), 20); for(i = 0; i < 20; i++) { memory[i] = calloc(sizeof(char), 33); } memory[0] = "Mem 0"; memory[1] = "Mem 1"; memory[2] = "Mem 2"; printf("memory[1] = %s\n", memory[1]); test_memory(&memory); return 0; } This gives me the output: memory[1] = Mem 1 Mem 0 Segmentation fault If I change the program and create a local version of the memory in the function by dereferencing the memory_ref, then I get the right output: So: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <ctype.h> #include <string.h> void test_memory(char*** memory_ref) { char** memory = *memory_ref; int i; for(i = 0; i < 3; i++) { printf("%s\n", memory[i]); } } int main() { char** memory; int i; memory = calloc(sizeof(char*), 20); for(i = 0; i < 20; i++) { memory[i] = calloc(sizeof(char), 33); } memory[0] = "Mem 0"; memory[1] = "Mem 1"; memory[2] = "Mem 2"; printf("memory[1] = %s\n", memory[1]); test_memory(&memory); return 0; } gives me the following output: memory[1] = Mem 1 Mem 0 Mem 1 Mem 2 which is what I want, but making a local version of the memory is useless because I need to be able to change the values of the original memory from the function which I can only do by dereferencing the pointer to the original 2d char array. I don't understand why I should get a seg fault on the second time round, and I'd be grateful for any advice. Many thanks Joe

  • swf listens to XML, AS3

    - by VideoDnd
    My swf listens to XML from a socket and document. How do I get 'my variables' to grab XML from the socket instead of the XML document? • opengl 3d texture issue

    - by user1478217
    Hi i'm trying to use a 3d texture in opengl to implement volume rendering. Each voxel has an rgba colour value and is currently rendered as a screen facing quad.(for testing purposes). I just can't seem to get the sampler to give me a colour value in the shader. The quads always end up black. When I change the shader to generate a colour (based on xyz coords) then it works fine. I'm loading the texture with the following code: glGenTextures(1, &tex3D); glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_3D, tex3D); unsigned int colours[8]; colours[0] = Colour::AsBytes<unsigned int>(Colour::Blue); colours[1] = Colour::AsBytes<unsigned int>(Colour::Red); colours[2] = Colour::AsBytes<unsigned int>(Colour::Green); colours[3] = Colour::AsBytes<unsigned int>(Colour::Magenta); colours[4] = Colour::AsBytes<unsigned int>(Colour::Cyan); colours[5] = Colour::AsBytes<unsigned int>(Colour::Yellow); colours[6] = Colour::AsBytes<unsigned int>(Colour::White); colours[7] = Colour::AsBytes<unsigned int>(Colour::Black); glTexImage3D(GL_TEXTURE_3D, 0, GL_RGBA, 2, 2, 2, 0, GL_RGBA, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, colours); The colours array contains the correct data, i.e. the first four bytes have values 0, 0, 255, 255 for blue. Before rendering I bind the texture to the 2nd texture unit like so: glActiveTexture(GL_TEXTURE1); glBindTexture(GL_TEXTURE_3D, tex3D); And render with the following code: shaders["DVR"]->Use(); shaders["DVR"]->Uniforms["volTex"].SetValue(1); shaders["DVR"]->Uniforms["World"].SetValue(Mat4(vl_one)); shaders["DVR"]->Uniforms["viewProj"].SetValue(cam->GetViewTransform() * cam->GetProjectionMatrix()); QuadDrawer::DrawQuads(8); I have used these classes for setting shader params before and they work fine. The quaddrawer draws eight instanced quads. The vertex shader code looks like this: #version 330 layout(location = 0) in vec2 position; layout(location = 1) in vec2 texCoord; uniform sampler3D volTex; ivec3 size = ivec3(2, 2, 2); uniform mat4 World; uniform mat4 viewProj; smooth out vec4 colour; void main() { vec3 texCoord3D; int num = gl_InstanceID; texCoord3D.x = num % size.x; texCoord3D.y = (num / size.x) % size.y; texCoord3D.z = (num / (size.x * size.y)); texCoord3D /= size; texCoord3D *= 2.0; texCoord3D -= 1.0; colour = texture(volTex, texCoord3D); //colour = vec4(texCoord3D, 1.0); gl_Position = viewProj * World * vec4(texCoord3D, 1.0) + (vec4(position.x, position.y, 0.0, 0.0) * 0.05); } uncommenting the line where I set the colour value equal to the texcoord works fine, and makes the quads coloured. The fragment shader is simply: #version 330 smooth in vec4 colour; out vec4 outColour; void main() { outColour = colour; } So my question is, what am I doing wrong, why is the sampler not getting any colour values from the 3d texture? [EDIT] Figured it out but can't self answer (new user): As soon as I posted this I figured it out, I'll put the answer up to help anyone else (it's not specifically a 3d texture issue, and i've also fallen afoul of it before, D'oh!). I didn't generate mipmaps for the texture, and the default magnification/minification filters weren't set to either GL_LINEAR, or GL_NEAREST. Boom! no textures. Same thing happens with 2d textures.

  • clojure.algo.monad strange m-plus behaviour with parser-m - why is second m-plus evaluated?

    - by Mark Fisher
    I'm getting unexpected behaviour in some monads I'm writing. I've created a parser-m monad with (def parser-m (state-t maybe-m)) which is pretty much the example given everywhere (here, here and here) I'm using m-plus to act a kind of fall-through query mechanism, in my case, it first reads values from a cache (database), if that returns nil, the next method is to read from "live" (a REST call). However, the second value in the m-plus list is always called, even though its value is disgarded (if the cache hit was good) and the final return is that of the first monadic function. Here's a cutdown version of the issue i'm seeing, and some solutions I found, but I don't know why. My questions are: Is this expected behaviour or a bug in m-plus? i.e. will the 2nd method in a m-plus list always be evaluated if the first item returns a value? Minor in comparison to the above, but if i remove the call _ (fetch-state) from checker, when i evaluate that method, it prints out the messages for the functions the m-plus is calling (when i don't think it should). Is this also a bug? Here's a cut-down version of the code in question highlighting the problem. It simply checks key/value pairs passed in are same as the initial state values, and updates the state to mark what it actually ran. (ns monods.monad-test (:require [clojure.algo.monads :refer :all])) (def parser-m (state-t maybe-m)) (defn check-k-v [k v] (println "calling with k,v:" k v) (domonad parser-m [kv (fetch-val k) _ (do (println "k v kv (= kv v)" k v kv (= kv v)) (m-result 0)) :when (= kv v) _ (do (println "passed") (m-result 0)) _ (update-val :ran #(conj % (str "[" k " = " v "]"))) ] [k v])) (defn filler [] (println "filler called") (domonad parser-m [_ (fetch-state) _ (do (println "filling") (m-result 0)) :when nil] nil)) (def checker (domonad parser-m [_ (fetch-state) result (m-plus ;; (filler) ;; intitially commented out deliberately (check-k-v :a 1) (check-k-v :b 2) (check-k-v :c 3))] result)) (checker {:a 1 :b 2 :c 3 :ran []}) When I run this as is, the output is: > (checker {:a 1 :b 2 :c 3 :ran []}) calling with k,v: :a 1 calling with k,v: :b 2 calling with k,v: :c 3 k v kv (= kv v) :a 1 1 true passed k v kv (= kv v) :b 2 2 true passed [[:a 1] {:a 1, :b 2, :c 3, :ran ["[:a = 1]"]}] I don't expect the line k v kv (= kv v) :b 2 2 true to show at all. The first function to m-plus (as seen in the final output) is what is returned from it. Now, I've found if I pass a filler into m-plus that does nothing (i.e. uncomment the (filler) line) then the output is correct, the :b value isn't evaluated. If I don't have the filler method, and make the first method test fail (i.e. change it to (check-k-v :a 2) then again everything is good, I don't get a call to check :c, only a and b are tested. From my understanding of what the state-t maybe-m transformation is giving me, then the m-plus function should look like: (defn m-plus [left right] (fn [state] (if-let [result (left state)] result (right state)))) which would mean that right isn't called unless left returns nil/false. I'd be interested to know if my understanding is correct or not, and why I have to put the filler method in to stop the extra evaluation (whose effects I don't want to happen). Apologies for the long winded post!

  • Broken corba object references

    - by cube
    I'm working on a homework and got stuck. The task is to serve objects using a default servant. But when I try to use the reference, weird things happen. Some part of corba prints a stack trace, but no exception is thrown. The problem happens when the server receives the reference and should call some method on it. The reference is then shortened and doesn't contain the object ID (which means that my servant implementation can't do anything reasonable). This is the implementation of the servant, where the problem appears: public class ModelFileImpl extends ModelFilePOA{ @Override public String getName() { try { return new String(_poa().reference_to_id(_this_object())); } catch (Throwable e) {} assert false; return null; } } If I take _this_object().toString() inside the try block and put it into dior -i i get this: ------IOR components----- TypeId : IDL:termproject/idl/ModelFile:1.0 TAG_INTERNET_IOP Profiles: Profile Id: 0 IIOP Version: 1.2 Host: 127.0.0.1 Port: 45954 Object key (URL): %AF%AB%CB%00%00%00%00%20Q%BA%F4%FF%00%00%00%01%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%01%0000%00%08RootPOA%00%00%00%00%08%00%00%00%02%00%00%00%00%14 Object key (hex): 0xAF AB CB 00 00 00 00 20 51 BA F4 FF 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 08 52 6F 6F 74 50 4F 41 00 00 00 00 08 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 14 -- Found 2 Tagged Components-- #0: TAG_CODE_SETS ForChar native code set Id: ISO8859_1 Char Conversion Code Sets: UTF8 , Unknown TCS: 10020 ForWChar native code set Id: UTF16 WChar Conversion Code Sets: Unknown TCS: 10100 Unknown tag : 38 however the part of server that makes the reference and the client see the reference as ------IOR components----- TypeId : IDL:termproject/idl/ModelFile:1.0 TAG_INTERNET_IOP Profiles: Profile Id: 0 IIOP Version: 1.2 Host: 127.0.0.1 Port: 45954 Object key (URL): %AF%AB%CB%00%00%00%00%20Q%BA%F4%FF%00%00%00%01%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%02%00%00%00%08RootPOA%00%00%00%00%09modelPoa%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%10testModel1.MyIDL%14 Object key (hex): 0xAF AB CB 00 00 00 00 20 51 BA F4 FF 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 08 52 6F 6F 74 50 4F 41 00 00 00 00 09 6D 6F 64 65 6C 50 6F 61 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 10 74 65 73 74 4D 6F 64 65 6C 31 2E 4D 79 49 44 4C 14 -- Found 2 Tagged Components-- #0: TAG_CODE_SETS ForChar native code set Id: ISO8859_1 Char Conversion Code Sets: UTF8 , Unknown TCS: 10020 ForWChar native code set Id: UTF16 WChar Conversion Code Sets: Unknown TCS: 10100 Unknown tag : 38 ("modelPoa" (the name of the poa working with default clients) and "testModel1.MyIDL" (the identifier of the object) in the object key are missing in the first one) I've tried sniffing the traffic and found out that the client still sends the correct reference.
