  • svnsync loses revision properties although hook installed

    Hello all! I have a pretty weird problem. We have setup an SVN-Mirror via cronjob (because it needs to go from inside to outside of a firewall, so no post-commit-hook possible) and svnsync. We installed a pre-revprop-hook just as told. Everything seems to work fine, except that it doesn't. E.g. when manually executing the script. # svnsync --non-interactive sync file://<path-to-mirror> --source-username <usr> --source-password <pwd> Committed revision 19817. Copied properties for revision 19817. No error, no complaints. But if checking for the revision properties it says: # svnlook info <path-to-mirror> 0 # svn info -r HEAD file://<path-to-mirror> 2>&1 Path: <root-of-mirror> URL: file://<path-to-mirror> Repository Root: file://<path-to-mirror> Repository UUID: <uid> Revision: 19817 Node Kind: directory Last Changed Rev: 19817 So somehow the author and timestamp information gets lost. But we need that information for our internal processes. Since no error or warning is produced I have absolutely no idea even where to start to look. Everything is local (except for the remote master), so there are no server-logs to look at. I also tried to manually recopy via svnsync copy-revprops (http://chestofbooks.com/computers/revision-control/subversion-svn/svnsync-Copy-revprops-Ref-svnsync-C-Copy-revprops.html). It says Copied properties for revision 19885. But when I query them, it's just the same. Any ideas how I could approach that problem, or even better -- how to solve it? Any ideas appreciated.

    Hello, I recently installed rails in fedora 12. I'm new to linux as well. Everything works fine on Windows 7. But I'm facing lot of problems in linux. Help please! I've installed all the essentials to my knowledge to get the basic script/server up and running. I have this error from boot.rb popping up when I try script/server. Some of the details I'd like to give here: The directories where rails, ruby and gem are installed, [vineeth@localhost my_app]$ which ruby /usr/local/bin/ruby [vineeth@localhost my_app]$ which rails /usr/bin/rails [vineeth@localhost my_app]$ which gem /usr/bin/gem And when I run the script/server, this is the error.     I am trying to use the MVVM pattern, and I am wondering where I place an ID value. Do I create a TextBlock that has its visibility property set to collapsed? Or is there a better place to store this kind of data?     Hello StackOverflow Experts Description I have an SWT Page with a TabFolder with a number of dynamically created TabItems. On each TabItem i crate a Composite and set the TabItem.setControl() to the Composite. I then use this Composite as the page on which i draw my items. I draw a set of Controls, including Textbox's and Labels. For the First, Default Tab, this works fine. No problems. Problem On tabs that is not the first tab i have the following problems: I am unable to visually alter then Edited/Enabled state of my Controls. I am unable to visually set the Text content of my elements My Controls look disabled and have a Greyed out look. But i am able to Select the content with my mouse and use CTRL+C to copy it out. So the text contet is there and they are Editable. Visually it is just not updated. Any comments are appeciated, Any requests for code, examples will be supplied and help Welcommed. Updates I tried added the suggest debug loop to the code, where i attempt to enable my Controls.     I am doing a query that converts rows to columns similar to this post but have encountered a performance problem. Here is the query:- SELECT Info.Customer, Answers.Answer, Answers.AnswerDescription, Details.Code1, Details.Code2, Details.Code3 FROM Info LEFT OUTER JOIN Answers ON Info.AnswerID = Answers.AnswerID LEFT OUTER JOIN (SELECT ReferenceNo, MAX(CASE DetailsIndicator WHEN 'cde1' THEN DetailsCode ELSE NULL END ) Code1, MAX(CASE DetailsIndicator WHEN 'cde2' THEN DetailsCode ELSE NULL END ) Code2, MAX(CASE DetailsIndicator WHEN 'cde3' THEN DetailsCode ELSE NULL END ) Code3 FROM DetailsData GROUP BY ReferenceNo) Details ON Info.ReferenceNo = Details.ReferenceNo There are less than 300 rows returned, but the Details table is about 180 thousand rows. The query takes 45 seconds to run and needs to take only a few seconds. When I type show processlist; into MYSQL it is hanging on "Sending Data". Any thoughts as to what the performance problem might be?

    Hey What I want to do is to include one of my PHP scripts in a Word Press theme. The problem is that after I include the script file I can't access, inside functions in the theme file, variables declared in the script file . I have created a new file in the theme folder and added the same code as in header.php and if I open that file it works just fine.   • Need to change ip address in app.config in runtime without runnning as admin

    Hey guys, There's a lot of post saying how to change info in the app.config and there are posts that say you shouldn't edit info in the app.config but store info in user folders. I understand these topics. But what i want is a combination of both. I have a wcf setup for my client in an app.config, which contains the endpoint address to which it should connect. When The server changes ip, or when a client is installed on a computer in another company, the user should be able to insert another ip-address which should be stored in the app.config. This cannot be stored in a file in appdata or something like that, as the client reads the info in the app.config on startup. How can i write (so remember the new ip-address) in the app.config when the client is installed in program files, the UAC is enabled and the program isn't run as an admin? Thanks in advance.

Supposing I change this so that there are 3 different state classes for my particular problem and they share a common supertype: abstract class CannibalsState extends State { //... } class LeftSideOfRiver extends CannibalsState { //... } class InTransit extends CannibalsState { //... } class RightSideOfRiver extends CannibalsState { //... } How can I make the types work out so that breadthFirstSearch infers that the correct return type is CannibalsState when it's passed an instance of LeftSideOfRiver?     I am trying to derive a class from ObservableCollection and I need to run just a single line of code each and every time any instance of this class is deserialized. Am I forced to re-write all of the serialization manually?

  • Vim hanging after parsing .vimrc (even a blank one) file on Solaris 10

    Hello all, I am having a problem with vim 7.2 hanging (for about 10 seconds) after it parses the .vimrc file. I had a similar issue in the past with tcsh on linux, but it was resolved by setting TERM to xterm-color. The same does not resolve the issue here.     I've got two instances of a SessionScoped CDI bean for the same session. I was under the impression that there would be one instance generated for me by CDI, but it generated two. Am I misunderstanding how CDI works, or did I find a bug?     I have a basic class 'HistoryItem' like so: public class HistoryItem private Date startDate; private Date endDate; private Info info; private String details; @Override public int hashCode() { int hash = (startDate == null ? 0 : startDate.hashCode()); hash = hash * 31 + (endDate == null ? 0 : endDate.hashCode()); return hash; } } I am currently using a HashSet to remove duplicates from an ArrayList on the startDate & endDate fields, which is working correctly. However I also need to remove duplicates on different fields (info & details). My question is this. Is there a way to specify a different method which HashSet will use in place of hashCode()? Something like this: public int hashCode_2() { int hash = (info == null ? 0 : info.hashCode()); hash = hash * 31 + (details == null ? 0 : details.hashCode()); return hash; } Set<HistoryItem> removeDups = new HashSet<HistoryItem>(); removeDups.setHashMethod(hashCode_2); Or is there another way that I should be doing this?
