  • Google Apps shared contacts API get a contact for python

    I'm having some issues trying to pull a shared contact using the gdata api for python that Google provides. Here is what I have to get the contacts.. but they are not all listed there feed = gd_client.GetContactsFeed() for i, entry in enumerate(feed.entry): print entry.title I can't figure out how to pull out a single contact so I can edit the contact information.. thanks!

  • Can't get DNS Alias work on Ubuntu 10.04 with Apache 2

    I want to use the DNS Alias to configure one of my domain pointing to a specific directory on the server. But I'm not able to find a documentation online for just two things: How can I set the stats property to be "awstats" instead of "Nothing"?     I have tried to use twitter API in my application using MGTwiiterEngine, I think Ih ave configured all thing but while I am running the app by giving my username and password. The delegate of the MGTwitterEngine was called with the 0 statuses and also the numberOfConnections=0. twitterEngine = [[MGTwitterEngine alloc] initWithDelegate:self]; [twitterEngine setUsername:username password:password]; [twitterEngine getRepliesStartingAtPage:0]; Can any one please help me out.   • Geocoding service for a startup?

    I'm working on an idea for a service that uses geocoded data (lat/lng) form a US address. Google maps API v3 has been awesome, until I read the terms of service and acceptable uses a little closer. The problem is that the terms seem to prohibit use of the maps API for any commercial use where the site is not freely accessibly to the public, such as a subscription based service. The alternative offered is Google Maps API Premier, but at $10,000 per year minimum, it's just not possible at this time. Same goes for services offered by Yahoo! and MS - initial fees are small for enterprises, but for a very early stage startup (not even a finished prototype yet!) it's just not doable. Geocoding process needs to be real-time and volume would be very small - user would enter address at setup time and only update it if needed. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • DHCP Relay setup in ubuntu server

    I have a network appliance (QNO) that works as traffic load balancer and dhcp server. I would like to add a linux server in between the network appliance and the client computers. The linux server will be used to monitor bandwidth usage. My problem is I still want DHCP to be served by the network appliance so that load balancing will still work efficiently. We are afraid that if we setup the linux server as the DHCP server the network appliance will not be able to load balance the traffic if it only sees the linux server as a single client connecting to it. I've been searching all over for a tutorial on how to setup DHCP relay but have not found any. How do I setup DHCP relay on my linux server given there are two NICs attached to it, one connects the linux server to the network appliance and the other connects the linux server to the client computers. EDIT Router (DHCP) ---- [eth0] Linux Server (Relay agent) [eth1] ----- PC (network) Router IP is 192.168.0.100 eth0 is on DHCP eth1 is static 192.168.2.11 (if I need to change this I can) Tried to do dhcrelay -i eth1 192.168.0.100, but the PC was not getting any DHCP lease from the DHCP router. I might be missing something here.

    im developing a piece of software to inset some text in a richedit of another program the code goes like this : atlfe = FindWindowEx(wtlsplitterwindow, 0, "atl:0087d7a8" , null); this is only one line: this works fine , problem is with every release of the program this number ""atl:0087d7a8" changes so i have to use spy++ to get the new one and change it in the code. the question is , is there is any way i can get that number from code? by the way im using C#, vs2010 thanks.

  • Google Maps API 3 How to call initialize without putting it in Body onload

    Hi I am using the google maps API and have copied the examples and have ended up with a function called "initialize" that is called from the body onload. I am using the maps in a few different user controls, which are placed within content place holders, so the body tag is in the master page. Is there a way of calling initialize directly in the usercontrol rather than having to place an onload on the masterpage? Ideally I want my user control to be a stand alone control that I can just slot into pages without trying to access the master page body onload. I have tried calling the Initialize function from my page load of the user control (by adding a start up script), but the map doesn't appear. Any suggestions?   • java api design - NULL or Exception

    Is it better to return a null value or throw an exception from an API method? Returning a null requires ugly null checks all over, and cause a major quality problem if the return is not checked. Throwing an exception forces the user to code for the faulty condition, but since Java exceptions bubble up and force the caller code to handle them, in general, using custom exceptions may be a bad idea (specifically in java). Any sound and practical advice?
