  • Creating a bundle - What's going wrong?

    Hello everyone, I've got a relatively simple one here. I'm making bundles to live inside the Resources folder of my application (and possibly in the Application Support folder). These bundles will contain template information for the data the application handles. I've constructed a bundle, with extension "booksprintstyle", and the directory structure is up to spec. I have an Info.plist all set and I think I've filled in all the values I need to. Do I need to change something in my App to have these folders-with-extensions recognized as bundle files, or am I missing something in my bundle structure? I noticed that some bundles have a file called PkgInfo; is that important?   • pxelinux hanging when booting client machine

    I'm kind of new to all of this, so please forgive any vagueness/misunderstandings on my part. I'm using pxelinux and VMs to create CentOS 6.0 machines that have the same install every time. I have a new VM set to boot from network, but in the process of booting up it gets stuck at "Loading 10.1.1.20:/pxelinux.0" (10.1.1.20 is the address of the server it's getting info from). pxelinux conf: http://pastebin.com/4XfZZPY1 I'm pretty sure all my config files are correct, could it be VirtualBox related? I have both the building server and the new client set to Host-only adapter and PCNET-FAST.

  • ORDER BY job failed in the Pig script while running EmbeddedPig using Java

    I have this following pig script, which works perfectly using grunt shell (stored the results to HDFS without any issues); however, the last job (ORDER BY) failed if I ran the same script using Java EmbeddedPig. If I replace the ORDER BY job by others, such as GROUP or FOREACH GENERATE, the whole script then succeeded in Java EmbeddedPig. So I think it's the ORDER BY which causes the issue. Anyone has any experience with this? Any help would be appreciated!     Hi, I m working on application in which i have to send all contacts from Android mobile to other mobile through SMS. I don't have any problem in getting contact information but when I send those Contacts after few messages there is Alert Window pop up saying "A large number of message have being send" and ask if you want to send or not. I am testing this application on HTC Hero. Is this problem is for specific mobiles or for all? I don't know what should i do to avoid this window because I cant get SMS Sent event. Please help me with any ideas that i can implement........ Thanks

  • Accessing PerSession service simultaneously in WCF using C#

    1.) I have a main method Processing, which takes string as an arguments and that string contains some x number of tasks. 2.) I have another method Status, which keeps track of first method by using two variables TotalTests and CurrentTest. which will be modified every time with in a loop in first method(Processing). 3.) When more than one client makes a call parallely to my web service to call the Processing method by passing a string, which has different tasks will take more time to process. so in the mean while clients will be using a second thread to call the Status method in the webservice to get the status of the first method. 4.) when point number 3 is being done all the clients are supposed to get the variables(TotalTests,CurrentTest) parallely with out being mixed up with other client requests. 5.) The code that i have provided below is getting mixed up variables results for all the clients when i make them as static. If i remove static for the variables then clients are just getting all 0's for these 2 variables and i am unable to fix it. Please take a look at the below code. Typically, I wish to ensure that this action was taken, or at least somehow resolved; when this happens, the email recipient should notify me with a response email about what was done, and what was not and why. But, sometimes emails don't get read by the recipient, or he forgets to reply to me. At the same time, I cannot constantly keep in memory the list of all emails for which I was waiting an answer and still didn't receive it. So I wonder, is there in any email client such a feature which would allow me to somehow mark specific outgoing emails as "demanding reply"? The mail client could in this case notify me if any "demanding reply" emails still aren't replied for a long time.

  • Client unable to authenticate when connecting to WCF service

    I have a WCF service hosted in a Windows service. The application is an intranet app, and I have programmatically set the bindings on both the service and the client as: NetTcpBinding aBinding = new NetTcpBinding(SecurityMode.Transport); aBinding.Security.Transport.ClientCredentialType = TcpClientCredentialType.Windows; aBinding.Security.Transport.ProtectionLevel = System.Net.Security.ProtectionLevel.EncryptAndSign; Both the service and client have endpoints configured with SPNs: EndpointAddress = new EndpointAddress(uri, EndpointIdentity.CreateSpnIdentity("Service1")); As far as I know, I have setup the bindings correctly-- and I am usually able to connect to the service just fine. I did however run into a case where on a server running Windows Server 2003 R2, x64, SP2 I get the following exception immediately when the client tries to connect: INNEREXCEPTION -- Exception Message: InvalidCredentialException: Either the target name is incorrect or the server has rejected the client credentials. Stack Trace: at System.Net.Security.NegoState.ProcessAuthentication(LazyAsyncResult lazyResult) at System.Net.Security.NegotiateStream.AuthenticateAsClient(NetworkCredential credential, String targetName, ProtectionLevel requiredProtectionLevel, TokenImpersonationLevel allowedImpersonationLevel) at System.ServiceModel.Channels.WindowsStreamSecurityUpgradeProvider.WindowsStreamSecurityUpgradeInitiator.OnInitiateUpgrade(Stream stream, SecurityMessageProperty& remoteSecurity) I get the exception when I try to connect to the service from another machine in the domain, but if I connect to the service on the same machine running the service it works fine. The hosting service itself is running as a domain user account-- but I have tried running the service as a Local System and Network Service to no avail. I have checked the Local Security Policies for the server and didn't see anything amiss (i.e. 'Access this computer from the network' includes 'Everyone'). Anyone have an idea of what could resolve this? I am wondering if I need to do something in Active Directory with respect to the service's SPN? I have read some about using setspn.exe to register or refresh SPNs, but I haven't needed to do this before. Why would this be working with other configurations but not the one above?

    I'm trying to set the UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities properties in my Info.plist file. My app requires a persistent network connection. If I look at the definition for the "wifi" key, it says: Include this key if your application requires access to the networking features of the device. So: does the "wifi" key indicate that I need WiFi, as the key name would suggest? Or does it mean that I simply need network access, as the key definition would suggest?

    So, as described on this msdn page, when you define a Connection String for SQL Server Compact 3.5, you can use the "Data Directory" macro, like this: quote from this msdn page: Data Directory Support SQL Server Compact 3.5 now supports the Data Directory macro. This means that if you add the string |DataDirectory| (enclosed in pipe symbols) to a file path, it will resolve to the path of the database. For example, consider the connection string: "Data Source= c:\program files\MyApp\Mydb.sdf" When using Data Directory, you can instead use the following connection string: "Data Source = |DataDirectory|\Mydb.sdf" For more information, see How to: Deploy a SQL Server Compact 3.5 Database with an Application. However, the 'for more information' link on msdn doesn't actually give any more information. So my question is: How does the |Data Directory| macro translate at run time? For WinForm apps, it seems to just give the location of the executable. Or is it more complicated than that?

  • Facebook Connect - Using both FBML and PHP Client

    I am doing my second Facebook connect site. On my first site, I used the facebook coonect FBML to sign a user in, then I could access other information via the PHP Client. With this site, using the same exact code, it doesn't seem to be working. I'd like someone to be able to sign in using the Facebook button: <fb:login-button length="long" size="medium" onlogin="facebook_onlogin();"></fb:login-button> After they have logged in, the facebook_onlogin() function makes some AJAX requests to a PHP page which attempts to use the Facebook PHP Client. Here's the code from that page: $facebook = new Facebook('xxxxx API KEY xxxxx', 'xxxxx SECRET KEY xxxxx'); //$facebook->require_login(); ** I DONT WANT THIS LINE!! $userID = $facebook->api_client->users_getLoggedInUser(); if($userID) { $user_details = $facebook->api_client->users_getInfo($userID, 'last_name, first_name'); $firstName = $user_details[0]['first_name']; $lastName = $user_details[0]['last_name']; $this->view->userID = $userID; $this->view->firstName = $firstName; $this->view->lastName = $lastName; } The problem is that the PHP Client thinks I don't have a session key, so the $userID never get set. If I override the $userID with my facebook ID (which I am logged in with) I get this error: exception 'FacebookRestClientException' with message 'A session key is required for calling this method' in C:\wamp\www\mab\application\Facebook\facebookapi_php5_restlib.php:3003 If I uncomment the require_login(), it will get a session ID, but it redirects pages around a lot and breaks my AJAX calls. I am using the same code I successfully did this with on another site. Anyone have any ideas why the PHP client don't know about the session ID after a user has logged in with the connect button? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    I'm trying to make "In App Purchase " works in my iphone app. I created some products and a few test accounts in itunes connect. I have no problem to retreive the products data (prices etc..) but when I try to make a payment - I am asked to log in - I use a test account - the transaction always fail with the following error : failedTransaction with error : Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=2 "Connexion à l’iTunes Store impossible" UserInfo=0x65d02a0 {NSLocalizedDescription=Connexion à l’iTunes Store impossible} I tried with several products and test account (even in other stores like us) but I still get the same error...   • Browser security when calling HTTP assets via a SWF on a HTTPS site

    We have a site that runs on HTTPS and needs to pull in various JS assets to run a video player on the page. We get a browser security warning on this page because the JS files we are externally calling are being accessed via HTTP, not HTTPS. E.g. // HTTP reference on a HTTPS site <script src="http://the-cdn.tld/player.js"></script> Simply accessing this one JS assets via HTTP and not HTTPS will cause the browser security warning which we need to get rid of. The provider of the JS file does not support an HTTPS equivalent (like Google Analytics does). We would ideally love to just do the following, but the provider does not have this: // HTTPS reference on a HTTPS site <script src="https://the-cdn.tld/player.js"></script> One option we had was to just download a copy of the JS file and serve it on the HTTPS site, however we have concerns with this as it is not recommended by the provider and will not include updates from them. Assuming we cannot do that, we were thinking a possible other option would be to use a SWF file as a proxy. We were thinking that we could have one of our flash guys create a SWF that loads in the HTTP-served JS file to the page. We were wondering that if this SWF makes the request, would that prevent the browser from showing the security warning or not? I assumed that we would still see the warning since the SWF is still making the request through the browser, but I wanted to see what the hive mind thinks.

So far I have this as my jquery code $('#main').find('.sub_main').each( function() { alert('hi'); }); The alert is just a test that it should show "hi" twice. But this is not working. I am also not clear on how I can store the two inputs in a javascript array. Any help would be great! Thanks,
