  • Accept all merge conflicts in git

    - by Micah
I'm trying to do a merge and there's a bunch of conflicts. It's all generated files so what I want to do is basically say "ignore all merge conflicts, and check everything in from my own repo". I've tried git checkout . --ours git add -A git com -a It gives me an error though because there are still files in the "unmerged paths" bucket. How do I handle this? Thanks!

  • Where to get really all-in-one .net 3.5 package?

    - by zerkms
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7&displaylang=en there we can see: Full Package To download the full package, rather than the bootstrapper, click on the link below: .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (Full Package) but this "Full" package still requires 50mb to download over the internet. Is it possible to get the really-Full package to install on the desktop that haven't internet at all?

  • JQuery Slideout only works on one side of the page?!

    - by Anders H
I've been working on a little slideout code and it's just been impossible. It works perfectly sliding out from the right of the page but when I reverse everything and have it slide from the left, not a chance! The exact issue is that it slides out farther than the width of it's container. Example at http://demindu.com/sandbox/slideout/. I'd certainly appreciate any tips in the right direction.

  • Looking for a script/tool to dump a list of installed features and programs on Windows Server 2008 R

    - by Hamish Grubijan
Hi, The same compiled .Net / C++ / Com program does different things on two seemingly same computers. Both have DOZENS of things installed on them. I would like to figure out what the difference between the two is by looking at an ASCII diff. Before that I need to "serialize" the list of installed things in a plain readable format - sorted alphabetically + one item per line. A Python script would be ideal, but I also have Perl, PowerShell installed. Thank you.

  • Different positioning in Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari?

    - by Hristo
Hello, I believe this question has been asked a lot of times, and I have managed to overcome this problem before whenever it occurred. Just now, I feel stuck with it and can't find a proper solution to make it work in all browsers: it does work properly only in Firefox, while in IE and Safari its elements are somehow apart from each other. You can see the result here: http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/8393/firefox.png http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/8041/10990669.png This is the code I use: http://pastebin.com/n6KEjazp Thank you very much in advance!

  • Does setting HttpCacheability.Public also cache the page on the server?

    - by Stewart Robinson
    I have these lines in my global.asax (basically because of http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2469348/can-i-add-my-caching-lines-to-global-asax) The thing I want to now understand is whether this code purely adds the HTTP headers to the page or does it also make .Net cache this page on the server for 300 seconds? Response.Cache.SetExpires(DateTime.Now.AddSeconds(300)); Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.Public);

  • JSON-P and a GET resource?

    - by user246114
Hi, If a website operating on a domain other than my own supports get requests, like: http://api.someothersite.com/v1/farms There's no way for me to access it using JSON-P right, they would have to have support for it as a query parameter? Something like: http://api.someothersite.com/v1/farms?callback=fantastic I mean, there's no way for me to use it without them explicitly supporting it, right? Thanks

  • How can I limit user bandwidth usage?

    - by Scarface
Ok, I have a site, and it serves all images and mp3s through a php script and can be controlled and limited, but I am now worried about overall bandwidth of my site. For example, what if someone just sends a million requests to one of my pages? Does anyone have any suggestions into server methods used to prevent this? Should I use mod_cband http://www.howtoforge.com/mod_cband_apache2_bandwidth_quota_throttling_p2?

  • Change the key being pressed with C#

    - by Benny
Hey, I'm trying to write a program in C# that will track the pressing of certain keys (using a keyboard hook), and send different ones instead. For instance, when I press the A key it will instead send the Q key. I used http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/CSLLKeyboardHook.aspx this for my hooks and tried to use the SendKeys function, but I get an exception about the garbage collector destroying some object inside the hook class.
