  • Working with Content Shell on windows 7

    I can't run Content Shell on my system (Windows 7 x64): When i run --dump-render-tree with the stable release content_shell.exe crashes with message: [XXXX:XXXX:0522/XXXXXX:XXXXXXXXX:FATAL:content_main_runner.cc(735)] Check failed: base::i18n::InitializeICU() were X - some number. And i can't run dev build because it misses mojo_system.dll. Is there any way to fix it? Does it work on Linux or MacOS? If so i probably can run it in VM For the time being.

  • Looking for a Python IDE with good support for libraries (Twisted).

    I'm looking for a Python IDE that can help me easily locate and manage and use the libraries on my system (Ubuntu). Specifically Twisted. Code completion is important including the symbols I import. (I've so far had a look at PyDev as well as OpenKomodo, but while both offer code completion for default Python concepts, I wasn't able to get either to import Twisted into my project and was thus getting reference errors.) Usual disclaimer: I don't like EMACS or vi, please, nothing regarding those.

  • Typedef in C# across several source files

    I am writing a C wrapper an would like to use a typedef aquivalent to define some types which should be valid in quite a lot of source files. Those "types" are just different aliases to [u]int16/32/64_t, but are useful to distinguish function parameters. One could use using MyId=System.Int32;, but this needs to be redeclared in every file as far as I see... Is there a better way?

  • Why Isn't My .Net Object Serializable?

    I've got a 'MyDataTable' class that inherits from System.Data.DataTable I've implemented ISerializable in my class and have a 'Public Overrides Sub GetObjectData...' But when I try to serialize the an object of 'MyDataTable' I get an error saying that 'MyDataTable' is not marked as serializable. If I used a DataTable instead - my code serializes correctly. If I add a serializable attribute to the 'MyDataTable' class - it serializes correctly, but I'm told that is unnecessary if I implement ISerializable. Can someone point me in the right direction?

  • Is there a straightforward way to have a ThreadStatic instance member?

    With the ThreadStatic attribute I can have a static member of a class with one instance of the object per thread. This is really handy for achieving thread safety using types of objects that don't guarantee thread-safe instance methods (e.g., System.Random). It only works for static members, though. Is there some corresponding attribute that provides the same functionality, but for instance members? In other words, that allows me to have one instance of the object, per thread, per instance of the containing class?

    I'm writing a module to handle dice rolling. Given x die of y sides, I'm trying to come up with a list of all potential roll combinations. This code assumes 3 die, each with 3 sides labeled 1, 2, and 3. (I realize I'm using "magic numbers" but this is just an attempt to simplify and get the base code working.) int[] set = { 1, 1, 1 }; list = diceroll.recurse(0,0, list, set); ... public ArrayList<Integer> recurse(int index, int i, ArrayList<Integer> list, int[] set){ if(index < 3){ // System.out.print("\n(looping on "+index+")\n"); for(int k=1;k<=3;k++){ // System.out.print("setting i"+index+" to "+k+" "); set[index] = k; dump(set); recurse(index+1, i, list, set); } } return list; } (dump() is a simple method to just display the contents of list[]. The variable i is not used at the moment.) What I'm attempting to do is increment a list[index] by one, stepping through the entire length of the list and incrementing as I go. This is my "best attempt" code. Here is the output: Bold output is what I'm looking for. I can't figure out how to get rid of the rest. (This is assuming three dice, each with 3 sides. Using recursion so I can scale it up to any x dice with y sides.) I'm at a pretty good point, but in the future I see one big problem: views. I'm used to the great <body><?php echo "Hey!"; ?></body> embedded php, but there's no such thing in C++, so I'm wondering: How would you deal with views? Would you create a simple find-replace-variable templating system and deal with thousands of partial views?     Using Oracle 10g. ( 10.2.0.4 ) Possibly by looking at either logs or system tables is there a way to determine which version of the oracle client each connection is using. Our systems initially had 8.1.7 Clients, and then 9.X clients. We attempted to manually locate all machines that had older clients and upgrade them to to 10.2 Clients. We are seeking a method to audit (from the server) if we were successful in upgrading all of our client machines.

  • Xml with spaces as InnerText

    I'm parsing Xml data which has entries like this: <item name="UserText" type_name="gh_string" type_code="10"> </item> I'm supposed to read the 6 spaces as a String, but both the InnerText and InnerXml values of the System.Xml.XmlNode are zero length Strings. Is there any way I can get at this whitespace data in existing files and what do I need to do in the future to prevent this sort of screw up?

I know that it's a special case of a tree, where each brance contains exactly 8 other leaves/branches.
