  • PHP/CSS issue, one account has a fine style, the other is weird

    Hello there, I am currently having the above issue, where on a CMS called phpVMS a CSS displaying front page works fine on the first account, but does not on any other user accounts. This only applies to the frontpage, and all of the tags seem to be closed. The top half of the picture is how it should display and how it displays for user GSM1001. The bottom half is for users GSM1002 upwards. I am really puzzled and I'd appreciate any suggestions. I am happy to post snippets of the code here or on jsFiddle if you require to see it.   • Separate one-off code paths

    I'm implementing an application with different code paths that shall be chosen once at startup and then fixed forevermore for that execution- for example, choosing D3D11 or D3D9 rendering path. Obviously I don't want to duplicate all my other code. Is run-time inheritance (no virtual inheritance) a fair solution? I don't want to waste a bunch of performance making virtual lookups when the type was fixed long ago. Not just that, but it makes me nervous that the functions can't be inlined and whether or not it affects RVO and NRVO and such. Am I just being over-concerned about this?

    I have 4 tables. r1, r2, r3 and r4. The table columns are the following: rId | rName I want to have, in fine, an unique table - let's call it R. Obviously, R will have the following structure: rTableName | rId | rName I'm looking for a solution, and the more natural for me is to: add a single column to all rX insert this column the table name i'm processing generate SQLs and concatenate them all Although I see exactly how to perform 1 and 3 with batching, editing, etc... (I have only to perform it once and for all), I don't see how to do the point 2: self-getting the tablename to insert into SQL. Have you an idea / or a different way to do that could solve my problem? Note: In fact, there are 250+ rX tables. That's why i can't do this manually. Note2: Precisely, this is with MySQL.

  • MySQL Limiting a query to one consistent value

    My current query returns a table like: +------------+ value1 | .... value1 | .... value2 | .... value3 | .... +------------+ I want: +------------+ value1 | .... value1 | .... +------------+ I want to only receive all rows with the first value. Normally I would do a WHERE clause if I knew that value, and I cannot use a LIMIT because each value has a different number of rows. Right now My query looks like "SELECT u.*, n.something, w.* FROM ... AS u, ... AS n, ... AS w WHERE u.id = n.id AND w.val = n.val AND u.desc LIKE '%GET REQUEST VARIABLE%';" This works great, except I get way too many rows and using PHP to do this ruins code portability and is superfluous.     I've got a list of links that point to images, and a js function that takes a URL (of an image) and puts that image on the page when the function is called. I was originally adding an inline onlick="showPic(this.getAttribute('href'))" to each a, but I want to separate out the inline js. I'd like to select all columns from table A (having columns: id, name, description) and substitute the "A.name" column with the value of the column "B.title" from table B (having columns: id, table_A_id title, langcode) where B.table_A_id is 5 and B.langcode is "nl" (if there are any rows). I've tried using a CASE and COALESCE() but failed due to my inexperience with both concepts. Thanks in advance.

However, I would like to also save the identical data to a second archive table. I know must redirect rules go the other way but for the purpose of the applciation I need to reverse it. Any ideas? I have tried things like: RedirectRule ^embed\?t\=([a-zA-Z0-9]+)$ /page/embed/$1 but with no luck.

  • Preventing entire JOINed MYSQL query from failing when one field is missing within a WHERE clause

    I am doing a couple of joins with a variable in the WHERE clause. I'm not sure if I am doing everything as efficiently as I could, or even using the best practices but my issue is that half my tables have data for when tableC.type=500, and the other half don't resulting in the entire query failing. SELECT tableA.value1 , tableB.value2, tableC.value3 FROM tableA JOIN tableB ON tableB.id=tableA.id JOIN tableC ON tableC.id=tableB.id WHERE tableA.category=$var && tableC.type=500; What I would like to happen is to still get tableA.value1 and tableB.value2 even if there is no field in tableC with a type=500. any thoughts? i'm totally stumped as how to approach this...

This code takes me to my second page, but if I tried to access the id, it gives me an error since the id is null. I access the id in the second page by: final Long passedId = Long.parseLong(request.getParameter("id")); I think I am not passing the parameter correctly, but I don't know how to do it. Any ideas?     I am trying to index a numpy.array with varying dimensions during runtime. To retrieve e.g. the first row of a n*m array a, you can simply do a[0,:] However, in case a happens to be a 1xn vector, this code above returns an index error: IndexError: too many indices As the code needs to be executed as efficiently as possible I don't want to introduce an if statement. Does anybody have a convenient solution that ideally doesn't involve changing any data structure types?

    Drupal 6.x I have this module that manages four different content types. For that matter, how do I define permission for each content within the same module? Is that even possible? I can't figure out how to define permission for each content type cuz hook_perm has to be named with module name and it doesn't have any argument(like hook_access $node) to return permission base on content type.     Table: DayOfWeek Enrollments Monday 35 Monday 12 Saturday 25 Tuesday 15 Monday 9 Tuesday 15 Basically I'm trying to sum the total enrolments for each day. so the Output will look like: DayOfWeek Enrollments Monday 56 Saturday 25 Tuesday 30 I've spent around 4 hours trying to work this out trying many many different ways but no luck. The problem I'm having is i can count how many enrollments for each day but can't have it aligned with the correct day when i run the query e.g. I want The total to be on the same line as the day it was calculated from. (I hope that is clear enough)
