  • Convert webpage to image from ASP.NET

    I would like to create a function in C# that takes a specific webpage and coverts it to a JPG image from within ASP.NET. I don't want to do this via a third party or thumbnail service as I need the full image. I assume I would need to somehow leverage the webbrowser control from within ASP.NET but I just can't see where to get started. Does anyone have examples?

Which db is it trying to work on? Do you know of any advisories about this?

  • Am I obliged to use ipv6 tunnel services if I want to be able to use it?

    I was looking for configuring Slackware to use ipv6 but all instruction I found speak about using an ipv6 tunnel that encapsulate ipv6 request into ipv4 packet and send them to an external router that extracts ipv6 request and sends a reply (or, at least, this is what I understood). Is that necessary? Isn't there a way to configure a pure ipv6 system? If yes, could you please point me to a guide that clearly explain how to enable ipv6 without this trick? I would like to configure my Slackware desktop at first, and then do the same with my Centos server. EDIT: maybe I gave you too few information. Sorry. I'll write some more information thanks to the posted guide. ~$ test -f /proc/net/if_inet6 && echo "Running kernel is IPv6 ready" Running kernel is IPv6 ready So, it seems ipv6 is enabled in my kernel. Here are two examples: CONTAINS SEASON, DO NOT MATCH 'http://imdb.com/title/tt0285331/episodes?this=1&season=7&ref_=tt_eps_sn_7' DOES NOT CONTAIN SEASON, MATCH 'http://imdb.com/title/tt0285331/ Here is what I have so far, but I'm afraid the .+ will match everything until the end.     I've been using the MSDN Library to create semaphores, located at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.threading.semaphore.aspx However, the examples are using Managed code (requires /clr), and I need to use Unmanaged code because FreeType doesn't like working with Managed code it seems. How would I go about creating 2 simple threads which use a semaphore if I'm using unmanaged code? Many thanks for your help.

    I found this in some code examples while googling : $sql = 'INSERT INTO users (username,passwordHash) VALUES (?,?)'; it's new to me, but I would guess that it a substitution method and equivalent to $sql = "INSERT INTO users (username,passwordHash) VALUES ($username,$passwordHash)";` or $sql = 'INSERT INTO users (username,passwordHash) VALUES (' . $username . ',' . $passwordHash . ')';` would that be correct? Is it an actual PHP syntax, or was he just trying to simplify his example?

    I'm trying to query a database, and return a set of values. Part of the data i'm trying to return is an insurance premium breakdown. Is it possible to run a query, that selects multiple fields, then adds then and returns them as a single value? I've seen SUM() but the examples i've seen show it as adding up the results of an entire field - where as i need it to add specific fields for each row returned. Any help is much appreciated.

    I'm trying to embed and then play back a .wav file in a C++/CLI app but all the examples I've seen which use PlaySound are in VB. I can't see how to get froma Stream^ to the LPCSTR which PlaySound requires: System::IO::Stream^ s = Assembly::GetExecutingAssembly()->GetManifestResourceStream ("Ping.wav"); LPCSTR buf = s->????; PlaySound(buf, NULL, SND_ASYNC|SND_MEMORY|SND_NOWAIT); I guess I need some sort of horrible .net memory conversion magic.
