  • Weird black spots on custom Google Map with IE

    Hello. I'm getting some weird black spots with a custom map page (via the Google Maps API v2.x) I have created. (Click SERVICIOS and then the icon farthest south to generate image shown below.) The issue seems to only appear when using Internet Explorer. I'm wondering if this is a common problem and if there is a common fix? Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Facebook insights for websites does not match on-site Facebook button counts

    I use Facebook Insights for websites and Facebook buttons on my site. However, the data reported by the two do not match. It always seems to be the case that the count reported by the buttons is significantly higher than the count reported in Facebook Insights. For example, this page http://www.appmyworld.com/blog/top-5-iphone-and-ipad-apps-of-the-week-10412.html has a count of 52 for Facebook which is made up of 19 likes, 21 shares and 12 comments according to AddThis and confirmed by http://sharedcount.com However, going into Facebook Insights for my website and looking at that specific page it shows only 4 total actions which is made up of 1 like and 3 shares. At the very least I would expect it to show a total count of 40 made up of 19 likes and 21 shares (I'm not sure it would track the 12 comments). Any thoughts on why this may be happening? My concern is if our website is not getting credit for the Facebook activity?

I have tried to look for "next" or "enter" in the keycodes but nothing really relevant... does anyone know? (actually, i've found the enter keycode to be precise, but it does not do anything)

For example, when you double click on a DataSet in the Solution Explorer, a UI screen appears that allows you to edit the DataSet, even though it is defined in XML/code (which you can right click and "View Code"). Usually this code is separated from user code in some way, either by region ("Windows Forms Designer Generated Code"), by codegen (".g.cs" for WPF XAML files), or some other means like partial classes.

    Is it possible to include the config.tar (encompasses the rules before/after scripts…) instead of on a web server served through http:// - but included no the cdrom itself. Namely am trying to do something along the lines of: title Solaris kernel$ /boot/multiboot kernel/$ISADIR/unix install cdrom:/config/config.tar dhcp -B install_media=cdrom module$ /boot/$ISADIR/x86.miniroot Yet it seems Solaris only supports HTTP or NFS as the source for config.tar - and not the CDROM itself.   • Windows media player 12 not launching from custom program

    There is a program we use for testing that calls windows media player and plays a media file. The problem is that windows media player fails to load unless you open and close it before starting the program. After that the program will open it every time without a hitch but after a reboot it is lost and you must do it again. My question is what could be voilate setting could windows media player have that would be lost on a reboot? I have tried programs like Regshot to capture changes to the registry that might be delated on reboot. The code for the program is very straight forward simply calling windows media player with a parameter with the media to play. Using process montior I have determined that is is crashing shortly after the program executes it. I am at a lost on this problem as I can not find what if anything it is changing to run windows media player.

    Dreamweaver CS5 with Dreamweaver HTML5 Pack 1.2.7 Windows 7 x64 When I go to create a new document and select the HTML5 DocType, Dreamweaver gives me the legacy encoding/character set declaration: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> I want to replace it with the new, abbreviated style: <meta charset="utf-8"> The relevant file seems to be %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5\configuration\DocumentTypes\NewDocuments\Default.html, which has a blank charset, that is then apparently replaced with the appropriate character set dynamically: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset="> I changed it, but then new documents show up like this: <meta charset=""> <title>Untitled Document</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> It seems Dreamweaver added the legacy declaration back in after my modification—and as far as I can tell, there's no way to specify that the charset definition should go in-between the quotes, either. Additionally, any modifications to Default.html apply to every DocType, whereas I only want this change to apply to the HTML5 DocType. Is there anything in the configuration files that would allow me to make any of these customizations? If not, is there an extension that does it?

  • Updating with using custom class collection not working

    I've posted this yesterday on asp forum but no one replied so perhaps I'll have better luck here. For some reason the OnUpdating method does not pull new values from the grid which is in edit mode. I've search and have come across several blogs and sites, some sugesting that an ObjectDataSource is required in order to use the "e.NewValue" construct others provide code to the contrary. I don't get any errors - the variables in the code file would contain the old values rather then new ones. I don't want to use the ODS way of manipulating the data. My delete method works but not the update one. Can you suggest what is wrong with the code?     I wanted to enable custom shortcuts in my Firefox extension. The idea is that the user just focuses on a textbox, presses key combination, and it's shown in the textbox and saved to a preference. However, I couldn't get it to work.   • Change size of a custom page in Inno Setup

    The following image shows the size of a standard custom page: I've intentionally removed the panel on top, where you usually see Caption, Description and Logo. So you can see that the actual size of the page is quite small - there are gaps on top, left and right sides. Is there any way to resize the page, so there are no gaps? I want the image to take the whole space. I create the page using CreateCustomPage function.

    Hi there! I want to change the post permalink schema on my WordPress 3.0-beta1 to use my new custom taxonomy. Today I can use /%category%/%postname%/ and the /my-category/my-post/ URL, that's nice but I need to use another taxonomy instead "category" one. I tried to use /%acervo%/%postname%/ but my URLs came with %acervo% on the URL instead the name of the "Acevo" (my taxonomy name) wich the post belongs to. I found something related to WP_Rewrite but without sucess...
