  I have a Sprint MiFi 3G router that exposes its current signal strength over HTTP. I've developed a very simple tray application that displays this.   I have setup custom 404 page custom404.aspx that returns a 404 Not Found error correctly, however the non-existant page that was initially requested returns a 302 Found status. So when I test thispagedoesnotexist.aspx, it returns a 302 Found then the custom404.aspx loads and returns a 404 Not Found status. I want to make sure that search spiders/bots understand that the requested page does not exist and should not show up in any search results. Is this the case? Cheers

The number of sections and their content is known, so I don't need to parse the text, but the line between the sections is very important (as it gives semantics to the "text"). Each segment is made of multiple lines. How could I write (1) and (2) on the left handside at the centre of each segment?

However, there are cases when the image will not exist, and I'd like to have the html table holding the image to become invisible so the "image not found" icon is not shown.
