  • How to Upload a file from client to server using OFBIZ?

    - by SIVAKUMAR.J
    I'm new to ofbiz so try to keep your answer as simple as possibly. If you can give examples that would be kind. My problem is I created a project inside the ofbiz/hot-deploy folder namely productionmgntSystem. Inside the folder ofbiz\hot-deploy\productionmgntSystem\webapp\productionmgntSystem I created a file app_details_1.ftl. The following are the code of this file <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title>Insert title here</title> <script TYPE="TEXT/JAVASCRIPT" language=""JAVASCRIPT"> function uploadFile() { //alert("Before calling upload.jsp"); window.location='<@ofbizUrl>testing_service1</@ofbizUrl>' } </script> </head> <!-- <form action="<@ofbizUrl>testing_service1</@ofbizUrl>" enctype="multipart/form-data" name="app_details_frm"> --> <form action="<@ofbizUrl>logout1</@ofbizUrl>" enctype="multipart/form-data" name="app_details_frm"> <center style="height: 299px; "> <table border="0" style="height: 177px; width: 788px"> <tr style="height: 115px; "> <td style="width: 103px; "> <td style="width: 413px; "><h1>APPLICATION DETAILS</h1> <td style="width: 55px; "> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 125px; ">Application name : </td> <td> <input name="app_name_txt" id="txt_1" value=" " /> </td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 125px; ">Excell sheet &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;: </td> <td> <input type="file" name="filename"/> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <!-- <input type="button" name="logout1_cmd" value="Logout" onclick="logout1()"/> --> <input type="submit" name="logout_cmd" value="logout"/> </td> <td> <!-- <input type="submit" name="upload_cmd" value="Submit" /> --> <input type="button" name="upload1_cmd" value="Upload" onclick="uploadFile()"/> </td> </tr> </table> </center> </form> </html> the following coding is present in the file ofbiz\hot-deploy\productionmgntSystem\webapp\productionmgntSystem\WEB-INF\controller.xml ...... ....... ........ <request-map uri="testing_service1"> <security https="true" auth="true"/> <event type="java" path="org.ofbiz.productionmgntSystem.web_app_req.WebServices1" invoke="testingService"/> <response name="ok" type="view" value="ok_view"/> <response name="exception" type="view" value="exception_view"/> </request-map> .......... ............ .......... <view-map name="ok_view" type="ftl" page="ok_view.ftl"/> <view-map name="exception_view" type="ftl" page="exception_view.ftl"/> ................ ............. ............. The file is get from user " tag in the "app_details_1.ftl" file & it is updated into the server by using the method "testingService(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)" in the class "WebServices1". But the file is not uploaded. Give me a good solution for uploading a file to the server.

  • OpenGL loading functions error [on hold]

    - by Ghilliedrone
    I'm new to OpenGL, and I bought a book on it for beginners. I finished writing the sample code for making a context/window. I get an error on this line at the part PFNWGLCREATECONTEXTATTRIBSARBPROC, saying "Error: expected a ')'": typedef HGLRC(APIENTRYP PFNWGLCREATECONTEXTATTRIBSARBPROC)(HDC, HGLRC, const int*); Replacing it or adding a ")" makes it error, but the error disappears when I use the OpenGL headers included in the books CD, which are OpenGL 3.0. I would like a way to make this work with the newest gl.h/wglext.h and without libraries. Here's the rest of the class if it's needed: #include <ctime> #include <windows.h> #include <iostream> #include <gl\GL.h> #include <gl\wglext.h> #include "Example.h" #include "GLWindow.h" typedef HGLRC(APIENTRYP PFNWGLCREATECONTEXTATTRIBSARBPROC)(HDC, HGLRC, const int*); PFNWGLCREATECONTEXTATTRIBSARBPROC wglCreateContextAttribsARB = NULL; bool GLWindow::create(int width, int height, int bpp, bool fullscreen) { DWORD dwExStyle; //Window Extended Style DWORD dwStyle; //Window Style m_isFullscreen = fullscreen;//Store the fullscreen flag m_windowRect.left = 0L; m_windowRect.right = (long)width; m_windowRect.top = 0L; m_windowRect.bottom = (long)height;//Set bottom to height // fill out the window class structure m_windowClass.cbSize = sizeof(WNDCLASSEX); m_windowClass.style = CS_HREDRAW | CS_VREDRAW; m_windowClass.lpfnWndProc = GLWindow::StaticWndProc; //We set our static method as the event handler m_windowClass.cbClsExtra = 0; m_windowClass.cbWndExtra = 0; m_windowClass.hInstance = m_hinstance; m_windowClass.hIcon = LoadIcon(NULL, IDI_APPLICATION); // default icon m_windowClass.hCursor = LoadCursor(NULL, IDC_ARROW); // default arrow m_windowClass.hbrBackground = NULL; // don't need background m_windowClass.lpszMenuName = NULL; // no menu m_windowClass.lpszClassName = (LPCWSTR)"GLClass"; m_windowClass.hIconSm = LoadIcon(NULL, IDI_WINLOGO); // windows logo small icon if (!RegisterClassEx(&m_windowClass)) { MessageBox(NULL, (LPCWSTR)"Failed to register window class", NULL, MB_OK); return false; } if (m_isFullscreen)//If we are fullscreen, we need to change the display { DEVMODE dmScreenSettings; //Device mode memset(&dmScreenSettings, 0, sizeof(dmScreenSettings)); dmScreenSettings.dmSize = sizeof(dmScreenSettings); dmScreenSettings.dmPelsWidth = width; //Screen width dmScreenSettings.dmPelsHeight = height; //Screen height dmScreenSettings.dmBitsPerPel = bpp; //Bits per pixel dmScreenSettings.dmFields = DM_BITSPERPEL | DM_PELSWIDTH | DM_PELSHEIGHT; if (ChangeDisplaySettings(&dmScreenSettings, CDS_FULLSCREEN) != DISP_CHANGE_SUCCESSFUL) { MessageBox(NULL, (LPCWSTR)"Display mode failed", NULL, MB_OK); m_isFullscreen = false; } } if (m_isFullscreen) //Is it fullscreen?   • How to trace a function array argument in DTrace

    - by uejio
    I still use dtrace just about every day in my job and found that I had to print an argument to a function which was an array of strings.  The array was variable length up to about 10 items.  I'm not sure if the is the right way to do it, but it seems to work and is not too painful if the array size is small.Here's an example.  Suppose in your application, you have the following function, where n is number of item in the array s.void arraytest(int n, char **s){    /* Loop thru s[0] to s[n-1] */}How do you use DTrace to print out the values of s[i] or of s[0] to s[n-1]?  DTrace does not have if-then blocks or for loops, so you can't do something like:    for i=0; i<arg0; i++        trace arg1[i]; It turns out that you can use probe ordering as a kind of iterator. Probes with the same name will fire in the order that they appear in the script, so I can save the value of "n" in the first probe and then use it as part of the predicate of the next probe to determine if the other probe should fire or not.  So the first probe for tracing the arraytest function is:pid$target::arraytest:entry{    self->n = arg0;}Then, if I want to print out the first few items of the array, I first check the value of n.  If it's greater than the index that I want to print out, then I can print that index.  For example, if I want to print out the 3rd element of the array, I would do something like:pid$target::arraytest:entry/self->n > 2/{    printf("%s",stringof(arg1 + 2 * sizeof(pointer)));}Actually, that doesn't quite work because arg1 is a pointer to an array of pointers and needs to be copied twice from the user process space to the kernel space (which is where dtrace is). Also, the sizeof(char *) is 8, but for some reason, I have to use 4 which is the sizeof(uint32_t). (I still don't know how that works.)  So, the script that prints the 3rd element of the array should look like:pid$target::arraytest:entry{    /* first, save the size of the array so that we don't get            invalid address errors when indexing arg1+n. */    self->n = arg0;}pid$target::arraytest:entry/self->n > 2/{    /* print the 3rd element (index = 2) of the second arg. */    i = 2;    size = 4;    self->a_t = copyin(arg1+size*i,size);    printf("%s: a[%d]=%s",probefunc,i,copyinstr(*(uint32_t *)self->a_t));}If your array is large, then it's quite painful since you have to write one probe for every array index.  For example, here's the full script for printing the first 5 elements of the array:#!/usr/sbin/dtrace -spid$target::arraytest:entry{        /* first, save the size of the array so that we don't get           invalid address errors when indexing arg1+n. */        self->n = arg0;}pid$target::arraytest:entry/self->n > 0/{        i = 0;        size = sizeof(uint32_t);        self->a_t = copyin(arg1+size*i,size);        printf("%s: a[%d]=%s",probefunc,i,copyinstr(*(uint32_t *)self->a_t));}pid$target::arraytest:entry/self->n > 1/{        i = 1;        size = sizeof(uint32_t);        self->a_t = copyin(arg1+size*i,size);        printf("%s: a[%d]=%s",probefunc,i,copyinstr(*(uint32_t *)self->a_t));}pid$target::arraytest:entry/self->n > 2/{        i = 2;        size = sizeof(uint32_t);        self->a_t = copyin(arg1+size*i,size);        printf("%s: a[%d]=%s",probefunc,i,copyinstr(*(uint32_t *)self->a_t));}pid$target::arraytest:entry/self->n > 3/{        i = 3;        size = sizeof(uint32_t);        self->a_t = copyin(arg1+size*i,size);        printf("%s: a[%d]=%s",probefunc,i,copyinstr(*(uint32_t *)self->a_t));}pid$target::arraytest:entry/self->n > 4/{        i = 4;        size = sizeof(uint32_t);        self->a_t = copyin(arg1+size*i,size);        printf("%s: a[%d]=%s",probefunc,i,copyinstr(*(uint32_t *)self->a_t));} If the array is large, then your script will also have to be very long to print out all values of the array.

  • WPF TextBox trigger to clear Text

    - by PaN1C_Showt1Me
    Hi ! I have many TextBox controls and I'm trying to write a style that clears the Text property when the Control is disabled. I don't want to have Event Handlers in code behind. I wrote this: <Style TargetType="{x:Type TextBox}"> <Style.Triggers> <Trigger Property="IsEnabled" Value="False"> <Setter Property="Text" Value="{x:Null}" /> </Trigger> </Style.Triggers> </Style> The problem is that if the TextBox is defined like: <TextBox Text={Binding Whatever} /> then the trigger does not work (probably because it's bound) How to overcome this problem?

  • Eventlet client-server

    - by johannix
    I'm trying to setup a server-client interraction: Server gets a string from client Server returns data to client I got this working with socket.send and socket.recv, but was wondering how to get it working with files through socket.makefile. I've got most of the pieces working, but don't know how to force each of the pieces to read at the appropriate time. So what it looks like is happening is that both the client and server are reading on the socket at the same time. Any ideas on how to let the server complete the original read before the client starts waiting for its information? Below are the core pieces that reproduce the read lock. Server: def handle(green_socket): file_handler = green_socket.makefile('rw') print 'before server read' lines = file_handler.readlines() print "readlines: %s" % (lines) print '** Server started **' server = eventlet.listen((HOST, PORT)) pool = eventlet.GreenPool() while True: new_sock, address = server.accept() pool.spawn_n(handle, new_sock) Client: from eventlet.green import socket green_socket = eventlet.connect((HOST, PORT)) file_handler = green_socket.makefile('rw') print 'before write' file_handler.writelines('client message') file_handler.flush() print 'before client read' lines = file_handler.readlines()

  • Hiding an item conditionally through SPEL in OAF ( VO Extension + Personalization )

    - by Manoj Madhusoodanan
    In this blog I will explain how to conditionally set property of an item through personalization.Let me discuss using a business scenario. My customer wants to make Hold from Payment/ All Invoices column readonly when the Operating Unit is UK ( Configured in a lookup XXCUST_EXCLUDED_ORGS ). Analysis First thing is we have to find out the page and business components. Page: /oracle/apps/pos/supplier/webui/QuickUpdatePGView Object: oracle.apps.pos.supplier.server.SitesVO Solution Download oracle.apps.pos.supplier.server.SitesVO from $JAVA_TOP to JDEV_USER_HOME/myprojects.Make sure the transfer mode of the file (See below table). Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-priority:99; mso-style-qformat:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:11.0pt; font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"; mso-ascii-font-family:Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast; mso-hansi-font-family:Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi;} File Type Transfer Mode .xml ASCII .class Binary .tar Binary .java ASCII  Since there is no VO attribute available to determine the Site Org against the lookup Org we have to add the logic inside a custom VO attribute. So VO extension is required in this scenario. Add an attribute "isPymtReadOnlyStr" in the existing query.This column returns 'Y' if there is a match in the lookup otherwise 'N'. Create a transient attribute "isPymtReadOnly" of type BOOLEAN.This will return TRUE if "isPymtReadOnlyStr" is "Y" otherwise FALSE. The reason behind adding the "isPymtReadOnly" is we are setting the item property as readonly through SPEL.It will recognize only BOOLEAN.But SQL query doesn't support BOOLEAN.So we are building a BOOLEAN attribute from the SQL which will use in the personalization layer to set the item property. Steps 1) Create a new VO xxcust.oracle.apps.pos.supplier.server.XXCUSTSitesVO which extends from oracle.apps.pos.supplier.server.SitesVO. Make sure the binding style should be same as SitesVO. Create the XXCUSTSitesVO which same query of SitesVO.Later we will add the new attribute to XXCUSTSitesVO. At this point of time all the existing VO attributes are of Updatable property as "Always". Press Finish without creating XXCUSTSitesVORowImpl.java 2) Select the XXCUSTSitesVO from JDeveloper Application Navigator. Modify the query and add the extra column. 3) Create a new transient attribute as follows. 4) Once you modify the query all the existing attributes Updatable property will change to Never.So revert that property back to orginal. 5) Create XXCUSTSitesVORowImpl.java by checking the following check box. 6) Add the following code snippet in XXCUSTSitesVORowImpl.java 7) Create the substitution for SitesVO as follows. Following entry will get created in current jpx file.    <Substitutes>      <Substitute OldName ="oracle.apps.pos.supplier.server.SitesVO" NewName ="xxcust.oracle.apps.pos.supplier.server.XXCUSTSitesVO" />   </Substitutes> 8) Migrate XXCUSTSitesVOImpl.java,XXCUSTSitesVORowImpl.java and XXCUSTSitesVO.xml from desktop to actual instance. 9) Migrate the substitution using jpximporter. 10) Restart the server and verify the substitution has done perfectly. 11) Go to /oracle/apps/pos/supplier/webui/QuickUpdatePG and personalize the page.Set the item read only property to ${oa.SitesVO.IsPymtReadOnly} 12) Click on Apply and in next page click on Return to Application. Verify your output.  Note: You can remove the substitution using following script.Please click here.

  • A Quick Primer on SharePoint Customization

All told, there could be around 50 images involved, and a few hundred CSS (style) classes.  Installing a theme once it’s been created is no great feat.  Given the number of pieces, of course, creating a new theme could take anywhere from a day to a week… once decisions have been made about the desired appearance. 2)      Master Page – A master page provides the framework for page layout.  This includes all the top and side menus, where content shows up, et cetera.  Master pages have been around for a long time in ASP.NET (Microsoft’s web development platform), and they do require some .NET programming knowledge.  Beyond that, in SharePoint, there are a few dozen controls which the system expects find on a given page.  They’re not all used at once, but if they’re not there when they’re needed, chaos ensues.  Estimating a custom master page is difficult, as it depends on the level of customization.  I’ve been on projects where I was brought in simply to fix some problems and add a few finishing touches, and it took 2-3 weeks.  Master page customization requires a large amount of testing time to make sure that the HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and control placement all work well together. 3)      Individual page layout – Each page (ideally) uses a master page for its template, but within the content areas defined by the master page, web parts can be added, removed, and configured from within the browser.  The wireframe that Brent provided could most likely be completed simply by manipulating the content on the home page in this fashion, and we had allowed about a day of effort for the task.  If needed, further functionality can be provided by an experienced ASP.NET developer; custom forms are a common example.  This of course is a bit more in-depth than simple content manipulation and could take several days per page (or more; there’s really no way to quantify this without a set of requirements).   That’s basically it.  To recap:  Fonts and coloring are done with themes, and can take anywhere from a day to a week to create (not counting creative time); required technical skills include HTML, CSS, and image manipulation.  Templated layout is done with master pages, and generally requires a developer familiar with both ASP.NET and SharePoint in particular; it can have far-reaching consequences depending on the complexity of the changes, and could add weeks or months to a project.  Page layout can be as simple as content manipulation in the web browser, taking a few hours per page, or it can involve more detail, like custom forms, and can require programming expertise and significantly more development time.

  • QTreeWidget insertTopLevelItem - index given not accurately displayed in Tree?

    - by mleep
    I am unable to properly insert a QTreeWidgetItem at a specific index, in this case I am removing all QTreeWidgetItems from the tree, doing a custom sort on their Date Objects and then inserting them back into the QTreeWidget. However, upon inserting (even one at a time) the QTreeWidgetItem is not inserted into the correct place. The code below prints out: index 0: 0 index 0: 1 index 1: 0 index 0: 2 index 1: 1 index 2: 0 index 0: 3 index 1: 2 index 2: 0 index 3: 1 index 0: 4 index 1: 2 index 2: 0 index 3: 1 index 4: 3 print 'index 0: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[0]) self.insertTopLevelItem(0, childrenList[1]) print 'index 0: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[0]), ' index 1: ',\ self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[1]) self.insertTopLevelItem(0, childrenList[2]) print 'index 0: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[0]), ' index 1: ',\ self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[1]), ' index 2: ', \ self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[2]) self.insertTopLevelItem(0, childrenList[3]) print 'index 0: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[0]), ' index 1: ',\ self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[1]), ' index 2: ',\ self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[2]), 'index 3: ',\ self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[3]) self.insertTopLevelItem(0, childrenList[4]) print 'index 0: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[0]),\ ' index 1: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[1]),\ ' index 2: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[2]),\ 'index 3: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[3]),\ 'index 4: ', self.indexOfTopLevelItem(childrenList[4])

  • Find new messages added to an imap mailbox since I last checked with python libimap2?

    - by vy32
    I am trying to write a program that monitors an IMAP mailbox and automatically copies every new incoming message into an "Archive" folder. I'm using imaplib2 which implements the IDLE command. Here's my basic program: M = imaplib2.IMAP4("mail.me.com") M.login(username,password) lst = M.list() assert lst[0]=='OK' for mbx in lst[1]: print "Mailboxes:",mbx def process(m): print "m=",m res = M.recent() print res M.select('INBOX') M.examine(mailbox='INBOX',callback=process) while True: print "Calling idle..." M.idle() print "back from idle" M.close() M.logout() It prints the mailboxes properly and runs process() when the first change happens to the mailbox. But the response from recent() doesn't make sense to me, and after the first message I never get any other notifications. Anyone know how to do this?

    This code outputs the scalars in the row array properly: $line = "This is my favorite test"; @row = split(/ /, $line); print $row[0]; print $row[1]; The same code inside a foreach loop doesn't print any scalar values: foreach $line (@lines){ @row = split(/ /, $line); print $row[0]; print $row[1]; } What could cause this to happen? I am new to Perl coming from python. I need to learn Perl for my new position.

However, when I call it from the following python script, the program seemed to hang after printing out the first 'alive'. Can anyone here tell me why this is happening? Thanks proc2 = subprocess.Popen("my_own_exe", shell=True , stdin=subprocess.PIPE, stdout=subprocess.PIPE) print proc2.communicate()[0] time.sleep(2); print "alive" # 'hang' after print this line proc2.communicate('S\n')[0] print "alive" print proc2.communicate()[0] time.sleep(6)

  • IE9 not rendering box-shadow Elements inside of Table Cells

    - by Rick Strahl
    Ran into an annoying problem today with IE 9. Slowly updating some older sites with CSS 3 tags and for the most part IE9 does a reasonably decent job of working with the new CSS 3 features. Not all by a long shot but at least some of the more useful ones like border-radius and box-shadow are supported. Until today I was happy to see that IE supported box-shadow just fine, but I ran into a problem with some old markup that uses tables for its main layout sections. I found that inside of a table cell IE fails to render a box-shadow. Below are images from Chrome (left) and IE 9 (right) of the same content: The download and purchase images are rendered with: <a href="download.asp" style="display:block;margin: 10px;"><img src="../images/download.gif" class="boxshadow roundbox" /></a> where the .boxshadow and .roundbox styles look like this:.boxshadow { -moz-box-shadow: 3px 3px 5px #535353; -webkit-box-shadow: 3px 3px 5px #535353; box-shadow: 3px 3px 5px #535353; } .roundbox { -moz-border-radius: 6px 6px 6px 6px; -webkit-border-radius: 6px; border-radius: 6px 6px 6px 6px; } And the Problem is… collapsed Table Borders Now normally these two styles work just fine in IE 9 when applied to elements. But the box-shadow doesn't work inside of this markup - because the parent container is a table cell.<td class="sidebar" style="border-collapse: collapse"> … <a href="download.asp" style="display:block;margin: 10px;"><img src="../images/download.gif" class="boxshadow roundbox" /></a> …</td> This HTML causes the image to not show a shadow. In actuality I'm not styling inline, but as part of my browser Reset I have the following in my master .css file:table { border-collapse: collapse; border-spacing: 0; } which has the same effect as the inline style. border-collapse by default inherits from the parent and so the TD inherits from table and tr - so TD tags are effectively collapsed. You can check out a test document that demonstrates this behavior here in this CodePaste.net snippet or run it here. How to work around this Issue To get IE9 to render the shadows inside of the TD tag correctly, I can just change the style explicitly NOT to use border-collapse:<td class="sidebar" style="border-collapse: separate; border-width: 0;"> Or better yet (thanks to David's comment below), you can add the border-collapse: separate to the .boxshadow style like this:.boxshadow { -moz-box-shadow: 3px 3px 5px #535353; -webkit-box-shadow: 3px 3px 5px #535353; box-shadow: 3px 3px 5px #535353; border-collapse: separate; } With either of these approaches IE renders the shadows correctly. Do you really need border-collapse? Should you bother with border-collapse? I think so! Collapsed borders render flat as a single fat line if a border-width and border-color are assigned, while separated borders render a thin line with a bunch of weird white space around it or worse render a old skool 3D raised border which is terribly ugly as well. So as a matter of course in any app my browser Reset includes the above code to make sure all tables with borders render the same flat borders. As you probably know, IE has all sorts of rendering issues in tables and on backgrounds (opacity backgrounds or image backgrounds) most of which is caused by the way that IE internally uses ActiveX filters to apply these effects. Apparently collapsed borders are yet one more item that causes problems with rendering. There you have it. Another crappy failure in IE we have to check for now, just one more reason to hate Internet Explorer. Luckily this one has a reasonably easy workaround. I hope this helps out somebody and saves them the hour I spent trying to figure out what caused this problem in the first place. • Printing pdf without opening

    - by Marius
    Hello there, I want to open a PDF-print dialog (not regular browser dialog) without visually opening the document so that I can print a pdf without having the header and footer information from a regular webpage print. I know this is possible, because I have seen it in the past on a postal service website for printing postage labels, but cannot remember where. As far as I know, printing it from an iframe doesnt work, as it only opens regular browser print dialog and gives me ugly page and url information: frames['name'].focus(); frames['name'].print(); Thank you for your time. Kind regards, Marius

  • HTML + javascript mouse over, mouseout, onclick not working in firefox.

    - by help_inmssql
    Hello Everyone, My question is to get onMouseover,onMouseout,onMousedown,onClick on a table row. For which i am calling javascript userdefined functions. onMouseover --- Background color should change. onMouseout --- Reset to original color onClick --- First column checkbox/radio button should be set and background color should change onMousedown --- background color should change. My code in html is:- <tr onMouseOver="hover(this)" onMouseOut="hover_out(this)" onMouseDown="get_first_state(this)" onClick="checkit(this)" > and the methods in javascripts are:- var first_state = false; var oldcol = '#ffffff'; var oldcol_cellarray = new Array(); function hover(element) { if (! element) element = this; while (element.tagName != 'TR') { element = element.parentNode; } if (element.style.fontWeight != 'bold') { for (var i = 0; i<element.cells.length; i++) { if (element.cells[i].className != "no_hover") { oldcol_cellarray[i] = element.cells[i].style.backgroundColor; element.cells[i].style.backgroundColor='#e6f6f6'; } } } } // ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- function hover_out(element) { if (! element) element = this; while (element.tagName != 'TR') { element = element.parentNode; } if (element.style.fontWeight != 'bold') { for (var i = 0; i<element.cells.length; i++) { if (element.cells[i].className != "no_hover") { if (typeof oldcol_cellarray != undefined) { element.cells[i].style.backgroundColor=oldcol_cellarray[i]; } else { element.cells[i].style.backgroundColor='#ffffff'; } //var oldcol_cellarray = new Array(); } } } } // ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- function get_first_state(element) { while (element.tagName != 'TR') { element = element.parentNode; } first_state = element.cells[0].firstChild.checked; } // ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- function checkit (element) { while (element.tagName != 'TR') { element = element.parentNode; } if (element.cells[0].firstChild.type == 'radio') { var typ = 0; } else if (element.cells[0].firstChild.type == 'checkbox') { typ = 1; } if (element.cells[0].firstChild.checked == true && typ == 1) { if (element.cells[0].firstChild.checked == first_state) { element.cells[0].firstChild.checked = false; } set_rowstyle(element, element.cells[0].firstChild.checked); } else { if (typ == 0 || element.cells[0].firstChild.checked == first_state) { element.cells[0].firstChild.checked = true; } set_rowstyle(element, element.cells[0].firstChild.checked); } if (typ == 0) { var table = element.parentNode; if (table.tagName != "TABLE") { table = table.parentNode; } if (table.tagName == "TABLE") { table=table.tBodies[0].rows; //var table = document.getElementById("js_tb").tBodies[0].rows; for (var i = 1; i< table.length; i++) { if (table[i].cells[0].firstChild.checked == true && table[i] != element) { table[i].cells[0].firstChild.checked = false; } if (table[i].cells[0].firstChild.checked == false) { set_rowstyle(table[i], false); } } } } } function set_rowstyle(r, on) { if (on == true) { for (var i =0; i < r.cells.length; i++) { r.style.fontWeight = 'bold'; r.cells[i].style.backgroundColor = '#f2f2c2'; } } else { for ( i =0; i < r.cells.length; i++) { r.style.fontWeight = 'normal'; r.cells[i].style.backgroundColor = '#ffffff'; } } } It is working as expected in IE. But coming to firefox i am surprised on seeing the output after so much of coding. In Firefox:-- onMouseOver is working as expected. color change of that particular row. onClick -- Setting the background color permenantly..eventhough i do onmouseover on different rows. the clicked row color is not reset to white. -- not as expected onclick on 2 rows..the background of both the rows is set...not as expected i.e if i click on all the rows..background color of everything is changed... Eventhough i click on the row. First column i.e radio button or checkbox is not set.. Please help me to solve this issue in firefox. Do let me know where my code needs to be changed... Thanks in advance!!

  • Passing list and dictionary type parameter with Python

    - by prosseek
    When I run this code def func(x, y, *w, **z): print x print y if w: print w if z: print z else: print "None" func(10,20, 1,2,3,{'k':'a'}) I get the result as follows. 10 20 (1, 2, 3, {'k': 'a'}) None But, I expected as follows, I mean the list parameters (1,2,3) matching *w, and dictionary matching **z. 10 20 (1,2,3) {'k':'a'} Q : What went wrong? How can I pass the list and dictionary as parameters? Added func(10,20, 10,20,30, k='a') seems to be working
