  • UIButton that cycles through images when clicked

    I have three images that I want to cycle through when clicking on a UIButton. How would I go about doing this? This is what I have so far, but it's not really working. //the images NSString* imageNames[] = {"MyFirstImage", "AnotherImage", whatever else}; int currentImageIndex = 0; and - (IBAction)change{ UIImage* imageToShow = [UIImage imageWithContentsOfFile:[[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource: imageNames[currentImageIndex] ofType:@"png"]; if( currentImageIndex++ == sizeof(imageNames)/sizeof(NSString)) //check to see if you hit the last image { currentImageIndex = 0; //start over } } Ideas?     Hi, I have added new Xib view file in my project. I assigned to view controller and in the view controller I set: - (BOOL)shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation:(UIInterfaceOrientation)interfaceOrientation { //return (interfaceOrientation == UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight); return YES; } But when the application runs in landscape mode, xib is not in landscape mode. I have set in info.plist file also xib file is also in landscape view. What do I have to do? Any help?

    Yet another iPhone/Objective-C noob question. I'm using a singleton to store app state information. I'm including the singleton in a Utilities class that holds it (and eventually other stuff). I'm probably doing something really obviously dumb? Any insights/suggestions will be appreciated.

    Hi! I am trying to update data in a table view using a NSMutableArray. Quite simple :( What is happening is that I get my data from a NSURLConnection Callback, which I parse and store it in an array and call reload data on the table view. The problem is that when cellForRowAtIndexPath is called back by the framework. The array still shows the correct count of the elements but all string objects I had stored earlier are shown as invalid. Any pointers

  • Load XML file on seperate thread, overwrite old , and save.

    Hey everyone... so Im trying to figure out how to do this. I have bounced around alot of forums to try and find my answer, but no success. Either their process it too complicated for me to understand, or is just overkill. What I am trying to do is this. I have an XML file within my app. Its a 500k xml file that i dont want the user to have to wait on when loading. SO... I put it in my app which kills the load time, and makes the app available offline. What i want to do is, when the app loads, in the background (seperate thread) download the SAME xml file which MIGHT be updated with new data. Once the xml file is complete, i want to REPLACE the xml file that was used to load the file. Any suggestions or code hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How can I manage it to have my coordinates before the view load? I need them to center the view concerning the own position and the position given by me.   • NSOperation for animation loop causes strange scrolling behaviour

    Hi, I've created an animation loop which I run as an operation in order to keep the rest of my interface responsive. Whilst almost there, there is still one remaining issue. My UIScrollViews don't seem to be reliably picking up when a user touch ends. What this means is, for example, if a user drags down on a scroll view, when they lift their fingers the scrollview doesn't bounce back into place and the scrollbar remains visible. As if the finger hasn't left the screen. It takes another tap on the scrollview for it to snap to its correct position and the scrollbar to fade away... However i get the following response in the console: {"status": "error", "message": "Invalid API user", "code": 0} what could be the error or if im wrong, what is the correct approach to posting a jaiku using xcode?
